I've been hearing rumors about this existing, is it true?
It would be great to see this lost anime. |

SaitoRockman,I too am a fan of this Anime and it does exist.Sadly,it only came out on VHS and is only 2 episodes long. Some surviving copies can be bought on EBay for a price, though.I do know a little bit about it,so I shall divulge it to you:
"In Arititia, war has broken out.Hardin has attacked the palace, sending young Prince Mars into hiding, instead of protecting his land. While living life on the limb,he falls in love with Princess Sheeda, the daughter of a king in a neighboring kingdom.Soon,he realizes his destiny and that the fate of Arititia is in his hands.
After rounding up a makeshift army,Mars and Sheeda head back to challenge Hardin. What's at stake? You'll have to find out!"
Mars is cleverly voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa in the Japanese version and Tiffany Grant does another character in the English version. However,ADV doesn't say whether they plan to re-release it on DVD.
If you want to know why he looks familiar, here's why:
Boot up your GameCube and play "SSBM".Fighter #24 is Mars, aka Marth.^^ Hope this helps. _________________ Things are going to be changing soon in the next few months.Stay tuned for updates and the like. |

You think there's a torrent file of this OAV?
And yes, I know Mars is Marth, I checked on International Movie Data Base and found the voice actor of SSBM Marth doing the voice for a "Fire Emblem OAV" |

Well, there's no "th" sound in Japanese, so they tend to use "s" to emulate it. For example, "Sankyuu" is really "Thankyou". _________________

For a torrent file,I've checked everywhere I know. There's not a lot of stuff on this series, but otakuworld.com can help you. They've recently added the OAV to their list.Go under links for the series and there's a site for some screencaps.Oddly enough,Mars looks like someone from Saint Seiya.Maybe the same art director? _________________ Things are going to be changing soon in the next few months.Stay tuned for updates and the like. |
