While two of those games we've never heard of, the other two we have. The other two titles wouldn't be too surprising, either. (Edit: Wikipedia actually confirms three of the titles as launch titles). It's hard to pick a date between these two presented by the games, but we like October 18th. That's the anniversary of the launch of the original NES system. What an excellent way to debut the virtual console! It wouldn't be unheard of to have games on the market one week before the console launches... XBOX360 did it.
The game distributor (note: that's distributor, not a retail computer like EB games) information that we have come across in the past made us able to be the first to announce Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and the trio of new DDR games, among others. We admit the game distributor information is not always 100% on the nose. Take for instance from that list the fact that Silent Hill: Original Sin was renamed to Silent Hill: Origins (which is still a working title, even). However, the database still confirmed the games mere existence, so we think it's worthwhile evidence. Release dates do tend to shift around all the time, but we have to admit that titles from 3 publishers all around the same date at once was too much of a coincidence for us to ignore.
Other information previously ran by Kotaku suggests a summer Wii launch based on a Madden 07 entry in the EB games database for August 30th. They are making a speculation based on sales info just like we are, nothing wrong with that. However, LOKI's information also shows that all other Madden 07 games on other platforms are set to roll out on August 30th. We theorize the Wii title was likely added as we all know the game exists, and so pre-orders could be taken on what is sure to be a popular franchise coming to the Wii. We are not trying to "argue" or "dispute" the previously released information, just trying to figure out how it all may fit together. |

| I heard the same thing about wii coming out in october, only I kinda figured it out myself, they said at E3 that twilight princess was coming out on wii launch day for both systems so I check the release date on the gamecube version and voila october 8th, hopefully I'll have enough money by then -_-; |

I heard a rumored release date of November 27, well that's according to most of the Gamestop's I been too in Kentucky, and that's only 3 of them I have been too, and I keep hearing November 27th, which is one week after Playstation 3's launch, which would mean, the hardcore gamer is going to become a broke gamer! Though this is confirmed, the Nintendo Wii will be under $250, that's something to cheer up about
