Ahhh. How I miss the old ZElda cartoons and the CD-1 games. That whole "Link must defeat Ganon" thing was hilariously convenient.

Ah yes, there were the zelda cartoons, mario cartoons, and megaman cartoons done in america by dic. Of course I don't really know much about them, because it was around the time I was born. BTW, that was so horrible, it made me laugh...

IIRC, Link said "I found a bottle under the table" in Zelda 2: Links adventure.

AAAAACK! AWAY FROM ME!
How dare thee bringeth back the Dark Ages of Hyrule!
*thunder and lightning*

I was in 2nd grade when the Mario and Zelda cartoons started.
Captain N, too.
...of course, I've yet to see the CD-I games in motion, but seeing some screenshots of it last year, I'm a little....*shivers*

Though after seeing the attempted Americanization of Sailormoon, nothing could possibly be worse

*twitches*

That definately wasn't worth the braincells I lost watching it. We need to find these CDs and bury them deep underground, then detonate them.

...why is Link a stoned hippie?

Seriously, he mentioned how hungry he was...

And it's good to know you can use Luigi's back as a springboard.

I won't watch those clips anyway, because I'm not the type to look down on other's talents so badly. I am thankful for not coming to this thread first.

I think we all know of the terrible Phillips CD-1 games. How they hurt us deeply. How they disgrace Legend of Zelda without Nintendo's consent...Those dang stupid bastards.....

Zelda could have kept the "Best Video Games Evar" title if not for the CD-1 games. I'm pretty sure there were three. Might have been two. Can't remember. This is where the G4 Tech TV show "Icons" comes in handy :3

Seriously, that reminds me of low budget European cartoon porn flicks that are scattered on the internet.

When I saw the first ending, I knew that I would never look at a Zelda game the same way without imagining the Ronald McDonald Link.

I've actually PLAYED these games, and wanted to die.

There was a zelda game that opened up with a sort of live action thing. I think. But there was two link games.
