In Memory - OT, PG-13, KH2 SPOILERS

[Quatre Winner]

Poochy made me a random pairing trigger, and I blame that entirely for this XD; Like the topic says. KH2 spoilers!! So, Planty and all those that haven't played KH2, STAY AWAY.

This isn't quite up to my angst level, but it's still rather dark. Introspective, too. I hope I got the characterization of the spoiler guy right o_o; If not, I apologize! There's also excessive use of swear words, or rather the same one many times XD;

Here we go! I don't own KH2 or FMA. How's FMA fit in? You'll see ^^.

It was strange. The sight of the blonde engulfed in threads of nothingness stirred a memory of something inside of him. An... emotion. How foreign. Was it... satisfaction?

No. It wasn't. The blond, despite his remarkable resemblence to the source of Xemnas' remembered anger, did nothing to sate the revenge he remembered he should be taking.

Blue eyes laced with pain glared at him, long blond hair swirling around a sweat and blood-drenched face. That glare... it was almost exactly the same. But Xemnas' emotions were remembered, nothing more. Not like those times with him...

Xemnas shook off those thoughts, a tendril of nothingness lashing out boredly and drawing a gash along the victim's right arm. There was no blood from that assault, though. Black metal glared out from the remains of a red jacket, reminding Xemnas once again that his victim was not who Xemnas wanted in that position.

"Who the hell are you?" his captive screamed at him, straining against his bonds. Xemnas was surprised at the strength in his metal limbs, almost tearing free of the nothing that held them. "What the hell did I do to you to?"

Xemnas regarded him solemnly. "You aren't him."

The blond raged. "Then what the hell am I doing here?!"

"I thought you could fill the hole he left, but you can't. Roxas... was unique." Xemnas looked off to the side, deep in thought. "I think... I miss him. That is, if I could feel."

He waved his hand and the nothingness vanished. The blond fell forward, catching himself on his hands before he could faceplant.

"Go now," Xemnas said. "Axel will take you home."

The blonde glared at him, staggering to his feet. A clap resounded throughout the room, and Xemnas easily sidestepped the blonde's lunge at him, countering with a blow across his back that sent him tumbling to the floor with a grunt of pain.

"At least answer my question," the blond gasped. "What do you know of the Philosopher's Stone?"

"I have never heard of it," Xemnas answered. "It is something from your world, and I have never been there. Now go. Linger and I will have your heart."

The blonde regained his feet and walked over to the door. He paused, his hand on the knob.

"I will get revenge," he hissed, "or my name isn't Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist!"

Xemnas would have smiled. "Let your anger grow, Edward Elric. Only then will you understand your true power."

And then Edward was gone, and Xemnas was alone. Alone without even the memory of Roxas to keep him company.

He thought he felt... sad.
