Well, we really can't be sure about anything like that.

Look at FireRed and LeafGreen. Those were remakes, but most likely because of the complete overhaul to the graphics, battle system, interfaces, etc, etc. If the future of Pokemon games have innovations similar to that of the ones that seperated the GB ones from the GBA ones, we may very well see the old games retouched for the 'modern' era.

Other than that, you shouldn't count on the remake.

Man, I love Kamon/Silver/Rival's design. Have they ever brought him in the anime? I could havw sworn I saw a picture of him in the anime.

He wasn't in the anime, but he is in the manga.
And according to the Fire Red/Leaf Grean manga, he is Giovanni's lost son.
So they could add that to the game. I realy wanted to fight giovanni in G/S/C.

Him being Giovanni's son could explain his agenda against Team Rocket, but is his name "Kamon" like the rival of RBY being "Shigeru"?

Crystal is one of my favorite Pokemon games, I always liked it's games. Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald. I don't think they're will be a remake unless they create a huge upgrade (as in the diferrence between Ruby and Red). Maybe they'll make Lightning Yellow or Water Blue.
