Zomg, so this new art ZOMGROFFLES YAY!!
i quit the old topic since i realized i couldnt edit the topic title no more lawlz ok so!

My intereptation of Betto [Barrel and Netto's love child] :

:D It's a starting sketchthingy, I'll outline it later and color. ^^; I'd like comments on the outfit and ways I can improve (rather than the legs and feet, it's not decided until I outline).

Betto has Barrel's splitty hair, and strength. She has Netto's outfit- his vest, and her hair doesn't cover her eye, a way like Netto's. She also has Netto's childishness. The shirt under her vest is a military jacket (thanks to Air's uniform as reference XD) and her skirt will also be colored like the jacket.

Whatever, you'll see more when I start outlining it. ^^;

In the long run, the eyes should probably be grey to match the uniform Laughing

I'm guessing the center part will still be furry, fluffy, that's a keeper. Maybe add a chain somewhere?

You'd be quite surprised what goes on in the channel. No seriously.

And I'd say something, but the yellow almost burns my eyes out. Other than that, it looks okay, and it'd probably stand out more if it were colored in, which you seem to want to do eventually.

So maybe try making the eyes the same size? XD

Sweet! I like the spiky hair, and I'm so glad you chose black over yellow this time! The coat looks like something I'd wear. This is an interesting concept... it is the future, and one has no idea what might go on there.

The head's a bit big, if you imagine Betto bald. XD

There's a problem with the right leg. It's in front of the left leg even though it's crossed behind it? It looks a bit unnatural as well. I can't imagine a surface underneath her. Moving the right boot up a bit and placing it behind the left leg might change that.

The shading of the vest is really nicely done, it gives a smooth, lifelike texture to the vest. I think that's what the furry part lacks, maybe try smudging the gray inwards or putting gray in the middle and smudging it outwards?

Other than that, I think the character design is totally unique, and there isn't really a female character with this kind of "stage prescence" in the anime either. Kind of like a female Enzan.
