Suppose I could've waited until 21 was available...oh well. I assume there isn't a ton of continuity between 21 and 22.
Starting out, we get a preview of the new, never-before-mentioned game, "EXE Snow Bike and Chase." Laika's chosen the rabid cupcake model. Netto stays in character and taunts Laika for his choice in vehicle, which ticks Laika off. "Everyone knows Coldman's Cruiser rules the snow courses due to it's traction and snowball attacks, like the steaming hot one that I'm eating right now!", Netto says. Laika then races for the finish line to prove his bike rocks, before we get the title! OK, maybe not accurate at all, but it just popped in my head.
It appears that [spoil:02540107fd]Cache's[/spoil:02540107fd] evil clones (I'm keeping said character a spoiler, since I don't believe he has been officially introduced in any episode yet) are going to take over Sharo's nuclear missile silo, where a virus defense system was supposed to be installed/tested. And then, somehow, these clones can materialize in the real world once they are quarantined?!?! I'm confused. But you know what that means...Laika's going to Beast Out! Oh, no, wait, they're just mixing up the music again.
On the plus side, Laika gets to fence again! Samurai Sword awesomeness! On the minus side, I don't think the clones were that scared of being fenced to death. I liked how Laika barely scratched them, then he gets totally beaten up, almost as if they were mocking him for trying to play a little game with them. But in the end, I guess that minimal damage was enough. Mystery to be solved later, I hope.
Art was enjoyable, although once again, this felt like an episode that needed to be full length to be truly enjoyable. Too quick to feed us enough of a developed plot, although it was interesting and it felt like a bit of an homage to the beginning of the series with the choice in clones. Although I wonder which one attacked with the tornado... _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

This episode was cool. The Phantom Navis made a better return in this. The way Raika was having trouble with Megaman and Protoman was cool! They almost showed [spoil:78eb8ba587]Cache[/spoil:78eb8ba587] in the end too. Sweet! :] _________________

I wondered that. We saw Roll, Gutsman, Glide, and Iceman as they were fading away, but we also saw attacks from Numberman and some other mystery navi. I'm guessing, with the color of the tornado, that it belonged to Aquaman.
Anyway, yeah, the fighting was very enjoyable, but they should have made it longer and removed Laika's henshin sequence. And Phantom Rockman is too much like Dark Rockman, but oh well. Quite enjoyable. I just wish I knew what happened LAST episode... >_< _________________

One thing I can say about the fighting in this. Hawt. :D
Seriously. Excellent job was done on the fighting. And the Juuka theme for Crossfusion. HAWWWWWT :D
...Since when did Shaaro have the ability to make DAs?
Also, are Dimensional Areas still powered by dead navis' souls? I know it's a bit late to be asking, but seriously ^^;; I only saw that episode of Axess where they say that recently. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

I think only the ones Regal used were; which was why they were so much more powerful. _________________

I know in Axess it wasn't human powered. My guess would be either starting with Stream 26 (based off of the episode summary) or when Yuuichiro showed up in Sharo in Stream 41-42. If I remember right, in 26, they still had to contact Meijin. He wasn't in Sharo, but used a satellite to direct the DA to appear in Sharo. But in 41-2, Yuu was in Sharo to activate it, so that probably the earliest they could do it themselves over there. Also in Beast+ 01, since that's fresh in my mind. Plenty of DA action in Sharo! _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Alright!
Laika fencing action!
The first time since Stream ep 18 T_T
Sadly, we got to this episode first, instead of the Hatman episode. The term "Phantom Navi" was probably first coined in that episode
RE: Sharo DA Generator
Yeah, they were building the generator when Princess Pride visited Sharo. _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

...What are ya talking about? It looks just like the Link Pet 2.0....
Also, I still remember the line "Laika-kun takes fencing" or however Searchie said it XD _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Realistically, Laika should've had his stomach sliced open...
The fight was pretty cool, especially the scene where Laika dodged the Hi Boomerang, and then nearly got sliced in two by P-Blues.
I'm still wondering why the anime has, ever since Axess, made Blues' default weapon a Variable Sword. I mean, there are plenty other stronger, nastier sword chips out there...
And can everyone magically materialize now? All the 'oids could do it, but it was explained how. Now Beast Plus comes along and everyone can seeming appear in the real world at a heartbeat. First Zero, then the viruses, and now the Phantom navis. It's getting a bit out of hand. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'
