Since volume 12 has been released a while back, has anyone gotten curious on how many volumes the EXE manga will be released before Takamisaki Ryo decides to end the series?I'm guessing that by volume 15,it'd be done.I could be wrong,I could be right...any guesses on how many more volumes to the conclusion of the series?

It has been pretty much stated that the manga will end at Volume 13. I believe the last chapter was in this month's Coro Coro.

eh, I'm rather dissapointed to see it end. But possibly a Ryuusei no Rockman manga will be made and countinue it in a different story and different characters. :D

Maybe so.I like the Ryuusei no Rockman design for the Navi.It looks sweet...Also,it could happen...most of the Rockman game series' have been turned into shows and manga...

If they do make a new manga series,do you think a new writer could take the wheel or would Ryo Takamisaki be at it again?

I don't know.... Ryo Takamisak has done a outstanding job with the EXE Manga, so I don't see a reason they wouldn't use him again, but at the same time I'm not opposed to having someone else do it, as long as it turns out nice.

but yeah having a Ryuusei no Rockman manga would be nice seeing how they already have a ZX Manga.

Er, he would, if he was willing. Makoto Hijioka had another manga in Coro Coro before he began the Boktai manga.

I was always under the impression Ryo was female. Maybe Ryouko's name biased me. =P

No, Ryo Takamisaki is a male. He has some sketches and things that portray him as a male (such as the Rythem and Blues thing at the end of issue 7)

Also, there are drawings of him in the inside flaps of the Japanese ones (not sure if they're in the English ones as well) and he is indeed male.

Yes, Ryo Takamisaki is a male. I hope that the manga will go on after volume 13. But, in the usa it's only at volume 9. I'm still waiting for #10. I hope that it's translated soon.

It's already out actually. I just picked it up yesterday at Borders, and they seemed to've changed the layout of it with a "Viz Kids!" type of label. It looks really out of place with all of the previous volumes.

Really, volume ten is out? Hmmm, must of missed it at the mall. I still don't know if I should buy it, as I already got it in Japanese. I'm waiting for volume 13 to come out so I can go to Kinokuniya to buy it.

Oh, it's out already? I didn't know that. I must've not been paying attention again. I better go and read it then :]

Bad News.
It seems that the author of the RE Manga, Ryo Takamisaki, will not be handling the coming Ryusei Rock. Perhaps he wished to take a rest after all this six years. This was a news from the latest coro coro special.

Can't say I mind too much. The manga was nice, no doubts, but I never really thought Ryo's art-style fit with the EXE franchise enough, but that's just me. I just hope we don't get a disaster for a Ryuusei manga like we did for Zero. (Though, so far, the ZX manga looks spot-on.)

I don't see people the reason for peoples insistance on Mangas following the game storylines exactly. It's ridiculous, if you want the game storyline go play the game. They're different mediums and thus allowed to have different styles and stories.

Get off my back. Stories, I agree with, because an exact retelling of the same story in different mediums is dull. (My reference to Zero is more in the fact that the Zero manga is just plain ridiculous.) But I like a certain consistency with the art styles among franchises, and EXE doesn't retain the same style established through the games and, later, the anime.

Was the manga linked to creator of Battle Network or the anime? Or is it just because the anime and the game ended, that the manga must also end?

That's a shame, I really liked Takamisaki's art style. It was very different from the game/anime art, but it was quite endearing - the manga was what really got me interested in the EXE series way back when.
