I keep hearing websites mentioning this, but I can't find it at all! I know by now it must be pretty old, but I was wondering if anyone had any idea of where I could find/buy this? I know that there were many different versions of it, but the most popular one seems to be drawn by Yoshihiro Iwamoto.
I'm pretty sure this is the same manga that people petitioned Viz to license (to no avail, of course).
Anyway, just wondering if anyone knew anything about this. Thanks. |

It is pretty old, acutally. Within the past two years, Iwamoto has done a re-release, combining all the volumes into four huge books.
There's no "offical" order site to get them. Your best bet would be Ebay, or a japanese bookstore near you.
and yes, Viz was petitioned about it. We got the NT Warrior manga out of that petition, so it wasn't a total loss. Maybe someday Viz might take the next step. _________________

Do you happen to know who the publisher is? |

You may also want to try the Japanese used bookstore "Bookoff". I do believe they have east coast stores, but not that many. They have very good condition Japanese books, and I find my older books there (a couple months ago I found the Rockman Mega Mix re-release for five dollars!)
At least in the West Coast Bookoffs I've found the entire set of the Rockman X Iwamoto manga set for 60 dollars (I wish I found out before I special ordered the X4 one.) But the selection varies by store.
If you're near a Kinokuniya bookstore, even if you go in and it's not there, they will do the special order for you if it is still in print. This is how I got my X4 one.
Good luck! _________________

There is actually a group that is scanlating the Rockman X manga by Iwamoto-sensei, http://www.drneko.com/index.php. As for where to buy it? I've seen some on ebay but they were pretty expensive. Try and go look for a Kinokuniya as Aya Brea said, that's now I got my X4 manga [the huge one], I brought it for around $27. |
