Yeah, the Rockman EXE BackGroundMusic just (don't mind the pun) rocks! I know there hasn't actually been a soundtrack released for Axess, Stream and Beast(+) but that doesn't mean we can't discuss it.
So tell me what your favourite tracks are and why. These are mine at the moment:

The track played when Netto plugs in Rockman in the latest Beast+ (4:57). I love that track so much, I don't really know why except that it just gets me so energized. Actually most Rockman EXE BGM does, but this one does it better than others.

The track played just after Tohru plugs in and Netto plugs in Rockman and he infiltrates Trinity Tower in the Stream Movie. For the same reasons, but this one is just so fast-paced and great to listen to :p

The track played (from axess) whenever Rockman earns a new Soul Unison. I love that one so much! It's just so happy and cool XD

Special mention reserved for the Kaze Wo Tsukinukete instrumental version (the one that WASN'T on the soundtrack CD damnit >___> they never used the one on the CD in the series). Especially the one played in the episode of the first season where Netto fights Hinoken in the Tournament, somehow this is a mix of the original and I think the only time this version played, weird... but I like it XD

Hope anyone else has a fav and likes to share it :p

Well, technically, I think there already was a thread like this. Like this one: http://www.kishuku.com/reo/viewtopic.php?t=4142&start=0

But I'll play along anyway. Early EXE, Plug-In Rockman (Ver. 1), Suspense, and Battle Pressure are ones I replay a lot.

My absolute fave is the most frequently used battle music, first played in Axess, usually when a Darkchip was used. Whenever I make my DVDs for any season, I seem to use clips with that music as my background half the time. I wish the remix from the movie was longer. I wish it was remixed even more! You can pretty much hear that and 2 of my other fave BGMs in Axess Ep. 12 (from the 8:46-8:52 mark on the timeclock) all in succession. Rockman music needs to rock, so I love anything with even a hint of electric guitar! Some other great ones are in Axess Ep. 48 (from 8:49-8:54) which has the Dark Blues theme, the theme that's used for Forte early in Stream (with the great orchestration and heavy drum sound) and what I consider the "Danger" theme. And of course I also like the soothingly sad piano remix of Futatsu no Mirai.

I like the Stream CF theme better than the Beast mix, but I like how the Beast mix starts out more, if that makes sense. The rest of the Beast mix is too distorted for my tastes. The movie credit remix was so much better. Colonel, Duo and Forte's themes in Stream all rock. I like a lot of the Beast music too, the battle music and Beast Out theme are near the top of the list.

That other thread is almost a year old @___@ (and I never knew of its existence till you mentioned it :p)

Indeed Suspense and Battle Pressure are brilliant. Of early EXE I also like Battle Parade a lot :p

Unfortunately I can't really see Axess 48 as it hasn't been subbed yet and I don't keep raws (nor have I seen that one anyway). I do like Colonel's theme a lot... but only the one played in the movie (I believe that one was a bit faster, the other seems to have a lot less impact somehow Oo).

I agree with you on the CF themes for Stream and Beast and understand completely what you mean :p The Beast Out theme must be one of the best from Beast for sure! :p

Ooooh, how I would give about anything for the soundtrack O___O

Since I have no idea the names...I'll just name them xD

My two favorite tracks would have to be Juuka Henshin (Come on. This is obvious. The one used WHENEVER Rockman beasts out) and any of the crossfusion themes.

For BGM? I enjoy that battl-y theme that is played when a Dark Chip is used in Axess.

I love the opening theme of Axess too. So awesome.

My favorite BGM tunes are as follows:
-Stream Cross Fusion
-Stream Battle Music
-Beast Out theme
-Answer Must Be Somewhere remix
-Piano version of Axess's OP

The first four I like because I usually like faster tunes. Plus, that music lends for more intense action. The piano instrumental I like mainly because it is played on a piano, which I like often enough. That one also has a real nostalgic feeling to it.

Just a thought, but with the near-inevitability of the entire EXE metaseries ending after Beast+'s conclusion (making way for the Ryusei anime), do you think Avex Mode will release a complete (or maybe near-complete) Axess/Stream/Beast/Beast+ OST? It'd especially be nice if they re-released the Sound Navigation 01 tracks from the original EXE, plus the miscellaneous EXE series tracks that were missing in the presumably-canned Sound Navigation 02. (Or just the missing tracks.) Movie tracks would be nice too. I know that's a lot (that's looking like a 6 disc set right there), but you and I and they and everyone knows it'd sell. Probably won't happen, but they might as well put all that music to good use after the series ends. And, hell, they've released so much of the game music... if 8-bit Famicom OSTs can sell, surely this would.

If I could get my hands on Barrel/Colonel's theme, Duo's theme, Beast Invasion theme, Beast out henshin theme, crossfusion themes, and that freaky weird talky theme, I'd be happy.

Hell, I want all the themes >:E

My favorite BGMs by far are the Colonel/Barrel theme, and the Formerly-Slur's-Theme-But-Now-Random-Freaky-Scene-Music theme.

I like all of the intrumentals for the openings, as well. Particularily the calm/sad versions of the EXE and Axess themes.

Let's see... Axess OP, Stream OP, Beast OP, Be Somewhere remix, Beast Out Theme, Zoanoroid Attack, Slur's Theme, Duo's Theme, the version of Forte's theme from the Movie (the one with the violin), the music that played in Stream 2 when Rock and Blues were fighting Forte.

There are probably much more out there.

That would probably be the only music set I would not download but actually buy (yes, sorry, I don't have money to go buy all soundtracks I want >__>). And if they do... well, buying the soundtrack's probably the only thing I could do that would interest them XD. I think... it would be more like a four CD set... which would be ideal, since
EXE
Axess
Stream
Beast/Beast+ (don't think there are a lot of new tracks in this one, if any O__o)

Tho... when you think of it... Them using a lot of themes from Axess and Stream in Beast+... would, to me, sound like they're trying to interest us again in that music. So if I were them I'd release the soundtrack at about this time :p

Also I would like to add that I love the Shouri no Uta instrumental theme from Beast 25 :p http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF41OzG9Xeg

The Answer Must Be Somewhere one is really good too... wonder why they only used that in Stream 40... or did they use it in other eps too? (haven't seen Stream at all)

People always seem to indicate the Beast doesn't have much, if any, new music... but, man, it had a lot of new themes. Beyondard theme, a bunch of Zoanoroid themes, the Beast Out theme, there's one really dramatic sad theme, Shouri no Uta, the new Cross Fusion arrangement, Trill's theme, Iris's theme... those are just off the top of my head. I don't think Beast+ had any new music, no... but it started to reuse really old themes like Axess ones, which is awesome.

Oh sorry, I actually meant to say Beast+ doesn't have any new themes if any, sorry my bad. I haven't seen all of Beast, mostly all the subbed ones and a few of the last eps, so I really don't know a lot of those themes, but Beast+ has yet to make a new theme I think Oo But indeed reusing a lot of the classic oldies (well... I'd say the ones from the original exe are the classics, but whatever) is really great :XD:
