Old Famicom/NES game called Famicom Jump II. I've played that game, and have been wonder who these characters are. In the game, they are known as the following (arranged in order of appearnace in this commercial, and the names are given from the game's names):
-Jojo (the green guy at the start of the commerical)
-Talulu (something, I don't know the exact spelling; that tiny...winged demon or whatever you wanna call it)
-Momo (the cool ninja guy with the sword and the bandana)
-Tyson (looks like a student in a Japanese high school)
-Ryotsu (the guy with the gun)
-Tarchan (the Tarzan guy)
-Goku (of course virtually all of us know this guy, no need to describe him)
I already know about Jojo and Goku, but I would like to know what animes/mangas the rest of this crew is from. Especially Momo; he seems so cool. _________________ War may not be the right answer, but when you're in one, ending it effectively and with positive results is a must. Ryotsu is from Kachikame, a series that's been going on for a couple of decades. It's quite popular. _________________

"Talulu" is Taruruuto, from the series Magical Taruruuto-kun, an older Shounen Jump title that's kinda Doraemon-ish (but I suspect Taruruuto has more of a sadistic streak) and got an anime that ran for a fairly long time.
Ryotsu (who I think might just be Ryo) is from Kochi Kame, which I believe is still running in both anime and manga form and is currently the longest manga in Shounen Jump. |
