I really like the sketchy look to the first pic, the X3 lookin' armor. That's my fave. Something is slightly off with his waist, when you look at his waist down, it seems like it needs to be slightly moved to the right, but otherwise, the pose, the hands, etc., were drawn very well.
I think your finale pic, the female cg, I can see where it might be throwin' you off because, well, it looks like purple Protoman with a classic Crashman helmet. Even if it doesn't look that feminine physically, you still did a good job on it. Keep up the good work. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Thanks. And about the last pic I forgot to say it was a request also so the design wasn't made by me. |

Picture I did of some reploid design. I felt like making a guy with a backpack.
I concept art drawing I did of my character. I did a sprite but I'll show it later when the sheet is more done. Sadly he has no name yet due to my lack of naming sense so one of my new years resolutions by christmas will be to be better at that >_>.
And incase you're confused by how he slots in his weapons, I made a quick diagram in Mspaint. Sorry for leaving that large space at the bottom, forgot to crop it.

Another quite interesting character. Nice job going into so much detail, you've got the production sketch format down! Both look very cool, although I think the messiness of the ink sketch makes it look even cooler. A lot of heavy artillery it looks like. At first when I saw the inked sketch, I immediately thought he had Burnerman-like flames coming out of his head. Is it actually hair or is it a blast effect? Seeing how you say he has a pair of vulcans on the side of his helmet...and I don't see it on the pencil sketch. Or is it even cooler as blast effect hair?! Good luck thinking up a name. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Very interesting design. The sketching makes it looks pretty good too. Looks a lot like a real-like sketching. Kind of like what I would do if I could draw. |

I haven't played Megaman X before, but I'm sure your character would make a fine addition. The gun/sword idea is cool (yet sort of cliche). i love your sketching/shading too. The JoyKiller's coloring is great too...You're fan reploid needs a name as well... _________________ Salem Paroo, Guardman's roleplay character!

Thanks for the comments guys.
Currently I'm practicing on cleaner CG'ing styles, like inking which my cousin showed me a little and cell shading. I wanna actualy due outlines for these so it can look cleaner. Though my pen tool got a little messed up. Whenever I make a path with it, instead of it making an outline it fills in the shapes. Anyone know how to set it back to making outlines? Also, can anyone show and recomend some other tools that might be better for making the lineart than the pen tool? I find the tool annoying due to always making those extra shape layers.
Oh yeah, and...
Sketch I did just now so I could have my own drawing to CG. I kinda got too excited and put in a bunch of details. Yes I know the gun dosent look realistic, I just put in some random doodads >_>. The feet are a bit odd, I'll fix those and some other errors I see when I make the lineart for it. |

Did this about a day after my last drawing. I fixed some major issues and finaly fixed his foot after redrawing it for like 5 times. It's going to be hard to CG so once I do some better cgs I'll try to color this one in.
Drawing I did for my navi's Battle chip portrait. I did the other limbs for fun. The legs aren't exactly correct but I'm mainly focusing on the upper body for the chip portrait anyway. Any proportional errors will be fixed when I color/clean/sprite the image in paint. |

You have a pretty good ability to draw stuff like this. Nice work. I bet color would look good too. |

I like the poses, and inking in your drawings. The weaponry also looks awesome.
