I mean he just seems to come and go without doing anything really.... I REALLY hope the writers didn't forget about him... It would be a real shame really.

Ryuusei Spoilers: [spoil:402e766593]Since Ryuusei is set in the Denpa (Radio Wave) Sekai and not the Dennou (Cyber) Sekai, Forte is a data form and not a wave form. As for him being an FM, can you honestly see Forte merging with somebody?[/spoil:402e766593]

Forte could Get Ability his way onto the airwaves (looks at RTTY). Have they actuallly said a FM have have to merge in order to get on the airwaves?

Fireman's reports at Atomic-Fire shows that navis and the Network still exist in Ryuusei, even mentioning "Teacherman" and "Driverman." It also seems that Subaru's ability to become Rockman allows him to travel through both the Wave Roads AND the Network (or so it's implied), so we might still be seeing some cyberspace activity (and navi reappearances) after all.

Well, people in reality use both radio waves and computer networks, don't they? Besides, in EXE, the Network wasn't the only means of technology; people still had things like radio waves. But in Ryuusei, the radio wave technology has advanced and become a primary source of technological growth in society. There are just some things radio waves can do or do differently that networks cannot, and vice versa.

Isn't there suppose to be a rivalry between Bass and Megaman? It would kinda kill the theme if he just appeared in the new anime(of course the writers forgot that there was a rivalry in the first place). Though I won't surprise if he DID appear in the new game. That "Get Ability" he has is pretty potentate.

Think of it like this: the Wave Roads are like an Area's cyberworld, like the big Internet. There can also be seperate networks for devices and other specific computers, like the Mother Comp and the WWW Comp from the EXE games.

This seems reasonable enough to me, though of course, it's only speculation on my part at this point.

A movie finale would be so much better than a 10 minute finale. Oh well. Maybe they'll throw something together later. After all, the video-games ended, but Capcom is still pumping out that new cell phone Legend of the Network game, and there's that report about a possible Rockman EXE 6.5 for the GBA. So, if the games can keep milking the cow, I'm sure the anime can too.
