|
|
Note this is not asking for one, this is a translation lol. I translated it myself with the help of my two good friends when it came to phrasing it. If you have suggestions they are welcome, please no harsh comments :< about how my translation skills might be lacking. Enjoy :D
流星のロックマン - HEART WAVE
Falling Star Rockman - HEART WAVE
飛び交うシグナル それぞれの今日を乗せて
tobikau SHINGUNARU sorezore no kyou wo nosete
Flying past every signal riding on today
同じ周波数重ね合い君と話す
onaji shyuuhasu kasane ai kimi to hanasu
You speak of setting the same joint frequency
迷い ためらいを振り切り
mayoi tamerai wo furi kiri
Hesitating, faltering, showing the limits
そこにあるはずの道を行こう
soko ni aru hazu no michi wo ikou
There should be a road there to take
見上げる 空は 心に 積もる 願いの色
miageru sora wa kokoro ni tsumoru negai no iro
Looking up at the heavens the colors of desire pile up in my heart
描く 夢を映し出す
egaku yume wo utsushidasu
I'll paint my dreams to project them
必ず いつか このこ手に 触れる 明日への地図
kanarazu itsuka kono te ni fureru he no chizu
One day without fail this hand will touch the map for tomorrow
強く 高く 届くまで 輝いて
tsuyoku takaku todoku made kagayaite
Stronger, taller, reaching until it shines
Notes:
SORA (空) can mean "sky" or "heaven". Since the theme of Ryuusei is stars, I went with "heavens".
Utsushidasu (映し出す) can mean "to project" or "to reflect". Going along with Ryuusei again, my friends said I should use "project" instead. _________________

He forgot to write it into the Romaji, however the Kanji is there so the translation is unaffected; only the Romaji lyrics.
By the way, even though it's got the Furigana "i", that ikou is actually pronounced yukou. _________________

Thanks a bunch! <3 I've been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for lyrics because I fell in love with this song at first...um...listen (LOL) and I've been dying to sing along.
Anyway, I think you did swell translating, but I just thought I'd point out that it seems like "reflect" might actually work better, you know, like:
"Looking up at the heavens, the colors of desire pile up in my heart,"
I'll paint my dreams to reflect them."
So the person saying this wants to paint the dreams in such a way as to _reflect_ or mirror their colors of desire, portraying them.
I'm not criticizing your translation~! I just thought I'd make a suggestion for thought. :3 Thanks again for your work! _________________ "I like revenge, but I like sprinkled donuts better." --my brother.

It might be that I forgot something in my romaji, to be very honest. I was mainly trying to get the kanji and the phrasing right, oops! lol.

I was going off the furigana, not the spoken one. If it affects the translation at all I can easily change it to yukou. :3

No worries! I opened the thread to have people see the song and offer their advice, so thank you. I was leaning towards your opinon, but my friend said it would be better the other way. I liked the first option/your option better har XP
So, I've gone ahead and fixed somethings thanks to you all -

Would you mind if I added these lyrics to the main site, with credit of course? _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

I just got done ripping the song itself from one of the raws. If anyone wants a copy, let me know.
BTW, does anyone know the name of the artist or band who sang this song? _________________
