Well... actually, i'm shy enough to post this kind of thread. But, i'm really insisted on playing and clearing Rockman games, but some difficult parts stucks me. Here are some of my questions :
MBN 3 White :
1. Where can i find Beastman V3 in Lan's Doghouse? It won't come out
2. What should i do to defeat Bubbleman V3 in Beach Area? To make it come out, i must have low HP, thus, when he comes out, i got deleted easily
3. How to continue to Secret Area 3?
4. Where and how can i find Dreambit Virus Family?
MBN 5 Colonel Team (These are from my friend) :
1. How to achieve a good result of Liberation Mission in Nebula Area?
2. Just like my friend, Dark Mega, with 2000 HP, become a trouble, what should i do?
3. How to achieve chips quickly? I have installed the Collect program, but the chips that are obtained after battle are not equal to the deleted enemies
Megaman X8 (If you can answer, it'll be a pleasure) :
1. How to defeat the winged-type Lumine in Hard difficulty?
2. How to obtain some Rare Metals? (Tell me what you know about them)
I guess that's all, it'll be great and pleasure for someone who can share some tips with me _________________ Your last word will become the word that will always be remembered by anybody |

BN3 White:
-Beastman: Fight his V2 form first. He should be located somewhere in the Scilab area. THEN, his V3 form is in the doghouse as a random enoucnter.
-Bubbleman: Default a recovery chip. Or run from the battle and use LocEnemy.
-Secret 3: Have one Giga Chip. That means Navi Recycle.
-Dream Bit: The first 3 are a little to the left of the Secret entrance warp. The next two are in Secret 3, but that requires you to have all viruses (excluding Dream Bits) in your breeder.
No BN5 Colonel, I have Blues instead... |

For the questions on EXE5, I outline a good general Liberation Mission guide HERE, so feel free to take a look and use the advice as you will.
Dark Rock is hard only because his AI emulates your strategy. If you tend to use Thunderball a lot, for example, he will be more likely to use it in addition to his standard repertoire of attacks. My advice is to continue to practice, or you can think of a folder that completely counters the one that you have been using from the start and see if that works. However, I suggest sticking with a working folder and just practicing--he is the next best thing to playing against actual humans.
Obtaining chips quickly has been a problem for many a player in the past several games. In this case, you are lucky since EXE5 features a cheap, reusable source of chips--the Bargain Bin. That screams cannon fodder for traders, and allows you to efficiently convert cash to chips for the trader.
For Bubbleman, I suggest you load up on chips that can and will hit the back row. Swords are close to useless for him, as they require you to capture two ranks--which is risky in that game. Running is not recommended, since there is a high risk of failure. However, should you win, you can lock him in and feel free to return to your full HP, as he is locked in until the effect wears off. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! I have a few good answers for BN3:
1. Use a SneakRun subchip or equip the SneakRun NaviCustomizer part. You'll now encounter Spikeys a few times before BeastMan shows up.
2. Put a high Recover chip in your folder as your Regular Chip (as in, the one that you always get at the start of a battle) You're required to have low HP to make the battle start, but that doesn't mean you have to stay like that.
3. Have a Giga-class chip. NaviRecycle can, I believe, be bought with BugFrags from Hades Isle. Jack into the beacon disguised as a monster and you'll find a portal in the small area. Go in, and it'll take you to a BugFrag dealer who will have a number of rare chips including the Giga.
4. The first three can be found on the large platform that begins Secret Area 1, in the far left-hand corner. The final two requires the Compress NaviCustomizer part; there's a small path to the right of the entrance. There will be a fork in the path, the left takes you to a BugFrag trader (like a Chip Trader, but uses 10 BugFrags instead of Chips), while the right takes you to a small platform with the last two Dreambits. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

I think I know the answer to one of your X8 questions, though I am not sure. I saw a video on youtube once where you fire this laser thing at that big yellow guy with the green parts...he kinda looks like a camel?

Some research.
Look about halfway down the page, and the access code is there. Just try to decipher it; the code is told to you, albeit in a somewhat garbled form. For future reference, other questions like that can go there. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Okay, now that I've actually played Megaman X8 and am not such a retard towards the question, a lot of Rare Metal locations are told to you by the navigators. For example, Pallette will tell you that there is a reploid with copyable DNA in the dark room with the spotlights in Dark Mantis's stage. Use Axl's copy shot then when you get to a part where you have to drop down, air dash across, wall jump into the hole in the wall, use A trans and use special weapon to give the salute to the guy standing guard of the door. He'll open it up for you, then you can kill him or whatever, turn on the generator with any of the weapons you got from Gigavolt Man O War, and the lights will turn on, making pathways to the two rare metals in that room easier to see. (one of them requires Zero's double jump or X's icarus foot part to reach.) Also, you can use a charged crystal wall in that room on the triangle on the floor in order to 'mine' a rare crystal.
A lot of them are told to you where to get from the operators, and another way to tell if you got them is in each stage, when you finish, where Signas says you did a good job or whatever, the counter that says the percentage tells you how many of the items you got. If you got them all, but never finished the level, you'll get a 70%. Also, there are little squares underneath. If those squares are filled, that means you got that item. If not, it'll be blank.
Keep in mind that every stage except the Dynasty, Jakob, Gateway, and Sigma Palace stage has a Light Capsule. Those stages also contain no rare metals. So if you are missing one of the squares, and you don't see any of X's upgrades, it probably means you got all the rare metals ya need, but you didn't get X's upgrade. And those are pretty easy to find if you know what you're doing.
Also, as for Troia Base, the only way to get the rare metals there is to either S rank five areas (It's either two or five, I forget) or S rank all the areas. If you S rank all the areas and are playing the PC version, you also get to fight [spoil:604fecc6ac]cutman[/spoil:604fecc6ac]
Oh, as for Lumine's winged form in hard mode? I've only beat him in Normal mode so far, but I'm getting to him soon in hard mode...
Basically, you want to just keep wailing on him, no matter what. If he starts using that really slow "you're finished!" spell, try starting underneath him and walking away. If you get towards the edge, try jumping and hovering if you're Axl, jumping, then waiting til the right moment to double jump as Zero, or try using some tricky air dashing as X.
As for the circular holy lines thingy? Try air dashing in the space between the two strings of light.
Then make sure you keep an eye on it as it swirls back.
As for the other "you're finished!" attack, start near lumine and try to dash back and forth so it keeps his weird string thingies guessing.
As for the vertical lines, just remember where they dropped. Seriously, they come right back up in exactly the same fashion as they dropped down.
DON'T USE YOUR DOUBLE ATTACK ON HIM UNTIL YOU BREAK HIS BARRIER WHEN HE USES PARADISE LOST.
Seriously, it'll be a waste if you double attack before that. PLEASE TRY TO KEEP BOTH CHARACTERS ALIVE. IT is hell to try and bring them back with combos. If you see your character's life bar sinking, make sure you swap out and give them time to recover!
Also, if you're playing as X, don't even bother with the retarded laser shot, that won't do jack. I go as Unarmored X, so I wouldn't know how to help you with that.
If you have Zero and his Sigma Blade, use it on Lumine when you see that weird sphere of light around him during normal Seraph Lumine, I think it does more damage to the shield.
As well, if you're fighting Paradise Lost, and you only have the Z saber and your partner is dead...well, it's safe to say you're boned ~_~ Try using the Sigma Blade there.
As soon as Lumine's shield is down when he uses Paradise Lost, give him a few buster shots then use a double attack! Get as close to him as you can, jump and hit that button! HIT IT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT! KEEEEL THAT CRAZY SERAPH WANNABE!!!!
Sorry, got a bit carried away! ^_^;; _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Hey, that's somehow works, thank you
An objection here (Sorry if i'm rude)
I nearly managed to defeat Lumine in Hard, but unfortunately failed
I use X and Axl
Since X wears Icarus Armor, that makes damage halved and his life gauge depletes only the green line, so if Axl's rapid shot damages enemy, it heals X's green life gauge at each shot
It's effective snce i just have to blame X's healing on Axl's attack
Does everyone has the same thing with me?
One more, Where is the X Head part of Hyper Armor?
I managed to complete Icarus Armor, there is only one more part left
Thank you and sorry for the rudeness _________________ Your last word will become the word that will always be remembered by anybody |

Actually, the H is the "Hermes" armor. As for the location of the head part?
Dark Monty's Light Capsule FAQ at Gamefaqs.com wrote: | Head Parts H - Avalanche Yeti's Stage
This one is a little bit of a pain to get simply because you NEED both X AND
Zero, and you HAVE to keep them both ALIVE. This capsule is all the way at
the end, after you destroy the second airship and "dismount" from your
ride chaser. Right before the path narrows towards the boss gate, jump up on
the wall above the opening with Zero, and use his double jump to get onto
the side of the ledge sticking out farther to the left. When you're up on
that platform facing the stacks of ice, use the Shining Ray weapon to melt
the ice and obtain the Head Parts H upgrade from the capsule. |
Like he said, it is a REALLY annoying capsule to get.
It's not even the fact that you have to have X and Zero that got me. It was timing that damn double jump. Took me at least a half hour to pull off.
Also, while you're up there, you might as well jump off to the left, air dash, then perform the Raikousen (the dashing electric slash thing), then get the rare metal that's there. I forget if you need to have X's crystal wall to get that metal. People say you need Axl to get that metal, but you just need Zero and his Raikousen. It takes a bit of timing to pull off, ESPECIALLY on the PC version.
And great job on the X and Axl team! You're better than me at stages because you actually got past all those spike pits with only X and Axl! XD I for one must have Zero's double jump to pull it off. Spikes give me nightmares
But seriously, whenever I play as X, I don't use his armor because...it kind of sucks. Other than the shadow dash and quick charging, bleh. >_< Although half damage does rock, real men dodge like hell. Nah, I'm just kidding. Use whatever strategy you want
I personally prefer to use Zero and the sigma blade, or X and the charge shot to break the shield, as Lumine moves way too fast for me to hit him with Axl's rapid fire...but then, Axl does get the super special awesome ending...

Hm... I felt the same thing, but luckily, now i managed to obtain all X parts.
May i post some other question to X8?
1. When my navigator is Palette and i'm in Inferno stage. Palette says "The floor in this area is structurically unsound, it might break with a good kick. Zero may have the move that should do the trick."
I use all of Zero's moves, but none of all of it that breaks the floor.
Can you tell me what move should i do to break the floor?
2. I search all over the stage to obtain the last rare metal that is still forgotten that stated in Signa's mission report at the every end of mission, but i can't find it, unless in Troia Base (It's been 100% completed)
Can you tell me those last rare metals in every stage that you know?
MBN 5 Protoman :
1. Is there any good way to complete the L. Mission in Undernet with good result? (Dark Blues is the boss)
Thank you, and sorry for being rude _________________ Your last word will become the word that will always be remembered by anybody |

Rude? You're like the nicest question asker I've ever answered questions to XD
Anyway, for the breaking the floor think, you need to have Zero's T breaker which you also obtain in Inferno. The way to do that is to get Axl to copy shot that flying guy at the very end of the spike area. Then let yourself be killed. You'll respawn at the top. At the very first spike pit, with the bats, you have to use A trans to turn into that flight guy and you have to do it so you fly into the little hole above the spikes. It's hard to do, but it's doable. After that, either exit the stage, or fly out. Either way, you have to exit before you get Zero's hammer thing.
After that, go to the R&D lab, and purchase the T breaker. Go back to Inferno, and around where you found the flight guy, use Juuhazan while the T breaker is equipped. That will break the floor.
Also also, if you didn't get it already, there's a rare metal after that area. Pallette will tell you that there's a part of the level that's not on the map. Go up before you start going down the long ass passage, and make sure you hover over to the right when you get to the part with the falling platforms (It's hard to explain because I forget the specifics.) The rare metal should be behind a new generation reploid with a shield.
Okies. You said you got all of X's parts? Excellent. Some of those are annoying.
If you have any other X8 questions, I'm your man. I've played this game like five times, but I keep going back to it cause it's so much fun.
As for the liberation mission against Dark Blues, I can't help you much because I played through Team Colonel and I could use Toadman's super awesome lyrical support ability which allowed my characters to attack five panels instead of one, which really helped clear out the path quickly. All I can tell you is to use your recon character to get the first key in the beginning. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

For Team Blues, we don't have Toadman's Life Melody or something, so the main aim is to get as many 1-turn Liberations as possible. You can use Gyroman's Bomb to clean a panel so that on the next turn you can open up a long line of panels with Medi.
The Z-Saber can be obtained in the Nebula Hole area, outside of this Liberation mission, so if you don't get it, there's always that other chance. |

Thank you Shakai-san
My progress in Rockman X8 is getting better, i have managed to defeat Lumine in Hard mode, i have bought all navigator Chips such as Alia Buster, Layer Rapier and Pallette Bullets.
Another question, question, and question, about Rockman X8
1. Can you tell me the Rare metals in Booster Forest stage? (How to get them too if you can)
2. Can you tell me where are Zero's weapon metals?
3. I want to obtain Axl's white armor, but i missed one rare metal to make the chip to complete all Axls metals. I have obtained Shock Absorber and Shield Armor. Can you tell me where else are the rare metals? (How to get them too if can) _________________ Your last word will become the word that will always be remembered by anybody |

For Booster Forest?
Okay, Use Axl and use the copy shot to kill that blue bot that you see in the first curvy part of the place. Take that DNA core and save it. When you get past the first ride armor miniboss, kill the enemies, then go to the bottom of the...next part? I can't figure out the exact words to use, but the part with two paths, go to the bottom, and use A trans and turn into the (for lack of better terms), morphball mechaniloid. Go through the tiny opening in the left, and jump to get the rare metal. Get out of that little alcove, and get back into your ride armor that you hopefully kept up top. Because you'll have to take the middle path and the only way to do that is to break the blocks with the ride armor.
Now, sometimes a new ride armor spawns in front of the spike conveyer belt. I'm not sure what dictates this. Because I've seen it while I already had a ride armor. But yeah, do what you always do, sending the ride armor on its merry way, and quickly get past that electric ball guy thing (I don't know what to call them, but they pull you in and sap health and the only real way to escape is with a tag assist) Or you could just kill it with Giga Crash...
Anyway, get your ride armor back and quickly get to the left, as far left as you can. If you don't, you'll end up moving along the conveyer belt downwards.
Jump up to the next platform, then get over to that platform controlled by a switch. Use X or Axl to shoot the switch and go back up top with the ride armor. Break the blocks, and use the Charged up crystal wall in that area, there should be a triangle on the floor where you need to 'mine'. You'll get another rare metal. Get back in the ride armor and soar over to the right. Hopefully you won't crush to the blocks. I choose to just get back down to the platform and slowly move downwards to the spike conveyer belt and hop on top of a block to the next set of blocks.
Hit one block and most of them will come crashing down. If you did it just right, you'll get one block column, a two block column, then a three block column. They look like steps. Jump up to the edge of each one so you don't break them, but do it quick so the explosive ones don't break and mess you up.
Kill the ride armors in this next room, then move on.
Get to the part with the spike conveyer. Put your ride armor in there, kill the enemies, and be quick about it. Keep following the ride armor.
When it's coming out, hop back in, and quickly air dash left so you're back where jumped from. Kill the enemies, then fall down the shaft. You'll break through the floor and land on the platform that you first put your ride armor on. The armor will ride (with you in it) on that platform. You'll get a lot of metals, and then finally the prize, the rare metal.
After that, you can just go back to the R&D Lab. No need to finish this mission... You already finished it, right?
As for Zero's weapon metals, I already told you where to get the T breaker...so no need for that...
I know one (B fan I think) is in Antonion's stage. You'll wanna bring Axl with you. In the second to last room, with all the spikes and a lot of gravity switches, towards the left (If the metal is on the 'floor'), use Axl's A trans to turn into the runner bomb (Yellow guys in the beginning that can walk on spikes). Go grab the metal. That's all
D glaive (I think) is in Darknoid Kamakill/Dark Mantis' stage. You need A mixture of either X and Axl or Axl and Zero. Use Axl's copy shot to kill one of the lone guards and get past the various enemies til the part where you drop down. Instead, air dash across and wall jump up to the hole in the wall on the left. There's a sleeping guard. Turn into the guard that can do that salute thing, and do the salute. The guard will let you in. Kill him or whatever (can't do it with Axl for some reason), and either A) use the charged up Crystal Wall as X on the triangle on the floor, or B) (prolly this one) hit the generator thing with one of the weapons you got from Giga Volt Man-o-war several times. It'll spin, and so...now the lights are on. And the platforms that are way up high, are lower.
Go back along the path you came from, and there is a lowered platform. Jump up there and keep crossing the platforms. You'll get to the rare metal. Not sure if that's the D glaive.
Then go back down and when you near the end of the room, there is a higher up platform. Double Jump with Zero. Go up to the next platform (I think...I'm foggy on this), and get the metal. That might be the D glaive. I'm not sure. I tend to get the three metals mixed up.
You get the Sigma Blade by beating the game once (Hard mode or normal mode).
You get the K knuckle from...uhh....Oh, now I remember, you get it from Antonion's stage too.
In the first staircase-like room, you jump up the wall, and then with Zero's double jump or a well placed dash jump (Double jump is easier), hop onto the block wall above you. Get on the block, switch to X and use the charged up crystal wall.
As for Axl's metals, you're gonna have to be specific about which metals you need. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Sorry, for all the things of the Rockman X questions that has been put in the wrong place
MBN 5 Protoman :
1. How can i obtain SP chip of Navis? I managed to beat Meddy SP and Searchman SP at Busting level 9, but it's still just he normal chip that i obtained. Is it need S rank?
2. Collecting 40 Mega Chips to open the door in Nebula Area 4 is a realy troublesome to me. Have any tips on obtaining Mega Chips?
3. I managed to use a lot of Dark Chips and repeatedly on every battle. Now, Rockman has turned into Dark Rockman. His emotional is always Darkness from the start of every battle, he can't use Mega Chips or do the Soul Unison. Is there anyway to make his emotional state back to normal? Is there any advantages of this Dark Rockman? He is hard-operated since my Mega Chips doesn't work on him _________________ Your last word will become the word that will always be remembered by anybody |
