I will use this thread to post various Chaos and Chaos-related artwork. What is Chaos? Well, it's a game I've been working on for the last three years but to understand the gist of the story I'd have to explain it to you, which I'll save for another time.
I'll show a few pieces at a time, so you have time to comment on each set. First and foremost, I'll show some of the minor-characters for Chaos and give brief descriptions.
* Adrian and Lief - The two of three main characters in Chaos, Adrian and Lief. Though at the beginning of the game, they are separated when he dies. This is a piece cropped from a larger piece where Lief protects Adrian from danger.
* Adrian Transforming - Just a picture of Adrian transforming.
* Lief Smiling A portrait of Lief used for studying his facial features.

Lief loves Adrian more than anything, however, and does anything and everything he can in order to make him feel happy and safe - ever going as far as dying to protect him.

* Omega Soul & Psi Soul - Some sketchwork (more or less a doodle) of Lief and Adrian standing together with their respectful Chaos Souls.
* Psi Soul Lief - This would be a pencil sketch of Lief in his Psi Soul uniform striking a dynamic pose, ready for attack.
* Omega Soul Adrian - Adrian in his standard Omega Soul uniform (before he discovers his Seraphim form) holding his palm-orb out, ready for an energy blast.
* Seraphim Omega Soul - Once Adrian learns to unleash his power, he is able to use his Seraphim Omega Soul form where he has his wings and stronger power. This is a pencil sketch of said form.
* Seraphim Sky - Seraphim Omega Soul again, but this time Adrian stares out over the clouds and into the sky, contemplating his life and true purpose.

Psi Soul Lief has the ability to act as mother nature - manipulating plant life. As the Chaos Savior of Psi, Lief has control over trees, vines, foliage, and just about anything else growing out of the ground. Lief also has the unique ability while in Psi Soul to somewhat predict the future - not entirely or with extreme accuracy, but with enough foresight to help prevent danger to himself and others. Most of Lief's attacks are called upon using his floating Psi Crystal which trails behind him on his travels and comes as part of the Soul's uniform. |
* Fear the Centaur - A picture of the Centaur that attacks the two young men on their way from school. This is a cropped version of the whole scene.

The Centaur seemingly appears out of no where - galloping towards them from the distance - ranting on about how he is to murder him, "the one with the crest that will defeat master".
He charges violently at Adrian with his spear, hoping to stab him to his death. Lief blocks his path in an attempt to protect Adrian and the Centaur is forced to impale Lief on the spear instead - holding Lief to the sky until all life has drained from him, onto the pavement below and then finally throwing Lief's lifeless mass into a nearby building to rid his spear of the human that had stood in his way.
The Centaur is a violent character and sees nothing as important but what his master desires. The Centaur takes a deadly slash from Atropos later, but even that is not enough to put him down.

* Dark Atropos - a sketch that I made into a CG that I did before this character was even named or giving a role. This was originally to be called "Dark" but he soon grew and got a real character name.

Atropos, being "he who cuts the thread of life" is a dealer of death and has many death-related attacks. Atropos using his Death Strike on the Centaur that attacks Adrian and Lief but alas, it is only effective enough to cut through his skin - not kill him. Atropos, while one of the Fates, does not agree with their judgement on Adrian and is extremely reluctant to help him - constantly testing Adrian to make sure he's worth the struggle.

I like the artwork. Very original. being someone who has created a whole cast of characters for his comic, I must say that you have planned your characters very well.
Good stuff! Hope to see more soon. |
