Screen shots were just released today of a up a coming Gundam title for the Wii.

Personally, I was surprised to see that a Gundam game would be coming to the Wii. I thought for sure that I would only see the Gundam series appear on the 360 and the PS3, but I guess anything is possible.

Holy crap this game looks awesome. I've always been rather underwhelmed by the lack of really good mech action games, but this looks like it's going to be my saving grace. The first-person perspective and the fact that you control aiming through the Wiimote should give the game a G Gundam vibe, which will be undoubtedly cool.

I just have to pray to the giant robot gods that MS Front doesn't end up the same as the craptastic Gundam game for the PS3.

i read about this in Play magazine and the guy who reviewed/previewed it (he got to play it) said it was simply the best Gundam game EVAR! the screenshots look pretty good on the Wii and after watching a couple episodes of Gundam SEED on demand, i must say that im rather intrigued by this game. i hope gameplay videos come out soon.

Has there ever been a good Gundam game? I don't mean "good to fans" good, I mean "good to everyone, even non-fans" good. Like, something that could get a 7.8 or higher on IGN or something like that.
