I searched first to see if there was already a topic for this. Turns out there isn't. So thus we have this topic.
A trailer/promo video (whatever you like to call it) is out.

It will apparently be a two-disc package consisting of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix + and Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories (basically a 3D CoM).
It will have lots of new features such as new areas, new weapons, new cutscenes, etc. Also a number of other things, two of which will likely please many fans (not sure if they're spoilers, but I'm marking them, anyway):
1. Zexion's weapon is revealed
2. The fight between Sora and Roxas will be an actual battle!

The game is going to be Awesome! Square Enix would be fools not to translate it, and bring it overseas.

Squeenix would be shooting themselves in the foot with a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun to not release this game worldwide.
I need to kill Larxene in 3-D ON DEMAND. >:E

That's 'cause once some of us heard about it, we kept the discussion in the original KHII thread! (you can check there for stuff from back then, too)
I'd like it to be a large-scale release as well, but still sorta doubt it. Even though there is a bit of difference with the remake as opposed to what was in the first Final Mix, I think we're gonna need a bit of luck for it not to be Japanese only. But all the info popping up about it looks awesome so far.

Zexion was seen wielding Riku's weapon, so it's been theorized that Zexion's weapon may be able to take on the appearance of others. Perhaps the book contains the weapons of everyone?

I emailed Sony, and they said that they don't mod american ps2s to play japanesse games, so it looks like that's one plan shot down. Another was buying one from EB games, but they aren't allowed to buy them.

I couldn't agree any more than that, but it would seem that America has more attention on the games that put off more money and popularity than the overall history in the games. |

megarush, most games cost 50-40 dollars each new release, but this is (I'm assuming) probably gonna cost maybe 10 or 20 dollars more due to remastered KH:CoM game that is to be included, I guess. If I'm wrong, well... conk me with a hammer.  |

There is enough content on both discs to warrant them as entirely new games, IMHO. So if I have to fork out $80 for 2 games, I have no qualms about it. I'll just trade in my current KH2 copy and go nuts.
