Okay! The tenth season is here, and I have a few questions about prior details.

A) Whatever happened to Gary/Shigeru's cheerleading posse?

B) Whatever happened to the Jigglypuff that tried to sing to an audience, and then attacked fiercely with Ash's marker?

I haven't watched since approximately a sixth through an arc (I forget what its name was, but it was the one where the protagonists included May and Max for the first time), and when Gary did make an appearance, he was already solo, seemingly shedding his posse from before. It stands to reason that he ditched them at some point eariler.

Yeah. He stopped going around with them earlier. And it got someone to listen to it. The first stage of loudred. It was in a trick house I think.

I stopped watching in order. But didn't he become a researcher or something? I recall an ep where Gary has a flashback, and tells Ash to follow his dreams and announces he wants to be a researcher. I think it was at the end of Johto. And Jigglypuff just vanished, maybe they left it in kanto or where ever it was last spotted...

Yeah. Ash beat him and then he professor'ed it up until he beat ash with his new new pokemon and left for the new area.
And jigglypuff was last seen in the houen.
