Ryuusei no Rockman ep. 25 (The spoilers come out at night)

Well, I may have missed out on commenting for last week's ep, but here I am with the first post for this week, so I'm happy!

Aaaanyway, on with the episode.

Really not much to say here. Old abandoned amusement park, Luna (looking VERY cute in that miniskirt, BTW) drags Laurel and Hardy along on a some sort of expedition, Subaru and Tsukasa are along for the ride.

Crown Thunder didn't seem like a very interesting enemy, not to mention we have NO idea who he's fused with. I'm sorry, but even Gemini Spark couldn't save this episode from mediocrity. (Not that Luna didn't try her hardest by sporting aforementioned cute miniskirt and giving Gonta a good boot in the arse)

But I'm not worried, because in two weeks, not only do we get TWO episodes, but they will FINALLY mark the arrival of Ophiuchus Queen! Luna-chan finally gets her FM, and is forced to fight her beloved Rockman-sama! I'm getting out the cheese-buttered popcorn for THAT one!

Don't you mean episode 22? Also, I do know what some of the future episodes are about but some people maybe don't like it to be spoiled as this topic is about this eppie, not about future episodes. Thanks for creating this topic though.

I agree with you on this episode. I found it pretty mediocre myself. I really have to get used to Crown Thunders design. There were a few funny scenes and I liked it to see Gemini appear again. I do hope he will have a bigger role in the next episode. A reasonable episode for me personally. Not great though.

Crown looks like a macabre FM, but his voice completely changes it. He sounds like an old man, and his laugh is somewhat creepy (hu hu hu he he he).

This might be interesting. I'll have to watch it tonight. And I agree with B-man, I may watch the next two eps with some refreshment. Now the important main characters have all fought after the episode.

Crown Thunder looks like he could be the solution to my Christmas Tree delima. Anyway. The episode was good in its own right, although I think the 10 minute time slot is starting to hurt the show. It's hard to pack all that plot-building drama and intensity into 10 minutes. If it were longer, this episode might have been even better.
Favorite part: right at the begining, where WarRock shows off his ability to make a peace sign.
And wow, Tsukasa's a great actor. o.0 Speaking of Tsukasa, the appearance of Gemini Spark was fun, too. I love those two.

I am curious to what was exactly being said by Subaru and Warock in the beginning. Warock made a V-sign and then said something. I first assumed he said 'boo' because the episode had to do with ghosts but I have no idea. I had to laugh about Subaru's reaction, even although I didn't understand a word of what he said. What was Subaru exactly saying? His expression and voice did look very funny.

I know I am asking much but I also started to wonder what Warrock said to Subaru after the battle with Crown Thunder. During the battle the screen flashed red for a moment and Rockman withdrew. Later Warrock seemed to explain to Subaru why they had to leave. I am not sure though and I am curious what Warrock exactly found out.

The last part that left me confused is Gemini's role in this. Crown Thunder seemed to become angry for a moment at the end before he summoned the ship underneath the amusement park. Is Gemini helping Crown Thunder? Are they again after Rockman or is it unclear what there motives are at this time?

My deepest thanks to anyone who is willing to help me with these questions. I know it is much to ask but this episode leaved me even more confused then normally.

WarRock didn't make just make a V sign.
Throughout the modern age, holding the index and middle fingers up in the shape of a V has meant a few things. In England during the first World War, it meant Victory!
In America, during the 60's, it meant peace.
The way WarRock's using it now...I have no idea. I think he's just being a goofball.

Oh, RockMiyabi-san, could you scap that picture and send it to me? I wanna make an avi out of it. Wink

And Tsukasa's iPod is actually his Transer, though I suppose the same principle applies. XD

Time to dissect Ryuusei 22.

Firstly, it's almost creepy how fast Mr. Girl goes from Tsukasa to Hikaru. Secondly, that shot of him sitting in the mansion was pretty eerie.

Thirdly, I thought that Crown Thunder's seiyuu could've used a more high pitched and/or creepy voice. The teeth chattering effect was nice though, and I'm glad the animator's weren't lazy and actually moved his mouth. I love the fact that due to the wonders of Engrish, 'Crown' becomes 'Clown.'

Yeah, a somewhat 'eh' episode, but next week's art director is Shingo Adachi, so look for a good episode. Let the Rockman vs. Crown Thunder battle on the SS. Killjoy (shot) begin!

Let's see. Crown Thunder is weird and he has a pirate ship. Luna is cute and she kicked gonta. Megaman had some kind of drill weapon and we get one week off. That's my thoughts.

Interesting that they're showing Crown Thunder already, considering when he shows up in-game.

In any event, I look forward to actually being able to watch the episode, given how freaking bizarre he is in the games.

Nobody mentioned the point in the episode that captured my interest.
Somebody was curious about it, though.

The reason why WarRock told Subaru to fall back.

WarRock explained that the Crown Thunder they fought wasn't the Crown he knew, so he definitely performed Denpa Henkan with a human.
However, what troubled WarRock was that when they were fighting, he sensed no presence of a heartbeat from Crown Thunder. Shocked

And that, fellow posters, is the main reason why I look forward to this weekend's episode. Smile

I didn't know what was said, but I knew Crown Thunder's situation, and the shock on Subaru's face when Warrock (presumably) told him made it obvious about what happened.

Kind of fun, although I get the idea that Hikaru seems to be the one mostly in charge. Also, the whole thing was random.
