Who's with me!? Fire Emblem is one of the greatest games ever made! I've spent many hours with just me, my GBASP, and little tiny Eliwood pawnig everything in his path. So, I know you people are out there! Come, I order you! *crickets chirp* aww... _________________ Stop looking at my sig. Stop it. Stop it. STOP IT. Oh yea of little faith, Fire Emblem has plenty of fans if you know where to look for them. I myself have played all three of the English games (the two for GBA and the most recent for GC) and enjoy them all thoroughly. Except maybe for Sacred Stones; too many monsters and not enough interesting characters. I am currently coming to a close on my second play-through of Path of Radiance, and eagerly look forward to the sequel and the rumored DS Fire Emblem. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

So true. FE8 was a letdown. The story wasn't as good as on 7, and it was too easy to 20/20 your characters. Although the tower and ruins added an interesting level of gameplay...
I only played a little Path of Radiance. My older sister has it. I'm on the last chapter of 7 right now. On ch.30, my Lyndis killed off Limstella with 4 critical hits! 70 something% chance. ooh yeah.

I played the first english Fire Emblem for the Gameboy Advance and I loved it, awesome gameplay, great story and memorable characters. Then I was exited about Sacred Stones, howerver, it turned out to be somewhat dissapointing for me... I think it is because the story wasn't as interesting as in the other one and also it had forgettable characters...
Oh, by the way, my favorite character of Fire Emblem is Legault, the Hurricane. _________________

My favorite characters are Eliwood,Eirika,Ephraim and Marth.Roy is...

FE10: Goddess of Dawn has already been released in Japan, and it looks sweet.
The only letdown seems to be in-game graphics, which look like early PS2 generation at best.

My friend, Trie kept bugging me about it and said something about it being similar to Advance Wars so I was all "FINE, I'LL PLAY IT >_<"
It's a fun game, and as cool as it is to watch a critical in action, I like actually being able to pull off moves instead of having them pulled off for me. (Probably explains why I don't like most RPGs)
...But Lyn's awesome. She doesn't wear pants *Shot for saying that joke for the hundredth time*
Actually, I like Eliwood. He stabs stuff \o/ But I like Lyn's personality. And her story is great. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Same here. And also for 70% of America. :)

I heard it was a Shakespheare play, or story, or something like that.

Fire Emblem was Japan-Only until sometime after Melee, so it makes sense that most people had never heard of it.
I liked FE9, and I'd like to play its sequel. _________________ - Sage |

I didn't play much FE9. I don't like it that much, but as I said, I haven't played much of it. ^^; _________________ Stop looking at my sig. Stop it. Stop it. STOP IT. WHAT PART OF STOP LOOKING AT MY SIG DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!?!?!?!?! |

FE9's actually my favorite one, it's just the graphics were bad and they took out Maniac mode for the US.

It was a mode in the Japanese version of FE9 that was taken out when it came to the US. They thought that it was too hard for us.
So, instead they added Easy mode, while the previous easy became Normal mode.
Maniac mode is supposed to be tied with FE5 as the toughest FE yet. _________________

I can't say I've ever played Fire Emblem, but I thought that Marth and Roy were awesome in SSBM, along with their theme song. KICKASS. :D
