So we start out with bald guy talking about the sattelites...and of course I don't understand a word of it...

Anyway, back to Subaru and mommy. Subaru flashes back to something that happened...last episode..."RAWR RAWR GO AWAY WAR ROCK :<"

Mom says...something blah. Can't understand it.

Then we flash back to bald guy again. OH SNAP. FMs! AND UTAGAI! AND LOWERING SPIKES! THAT CAN ONLY MEAN ONE THING!

BAD SHIT'S GOIN' DOWN!

The ceiling goes BOOM! and the FMs get into the...building thing. And then O SNAP Utagai!

Ox: RAWR! Respect my authoritah! *elbows Bald guy*
Workers: Ohnoz bald guy! *run to his aid*

And then Utagai types.

~~ Flash to Subaru talking to Amachi.

...Talking about War Rock or something. Blah. Static and Mom is with the food....ewww fluctuations!

GASP! THOSE BASTIDS SCREWED UP MISORA-CHAN'S PERFORMANCE! THEY SHALL PAAAAAAAAAAY! *evil torch swinging*

The food in the microwave turns into mettaurs! Subaru to the rescue! SWOOOOOOORD!

"What's a Denpa Virusu?!" "No time Bai!"

Or something.

Then we have Utagai come in with a really dramatic entrance using that kickass music I love. He talks about...the sattelites again. Man these FM guys are obsessed with dem sattelites. [/sarcasm]

Heibu's all "D: Utagai :<" or something. I forget his name. Other than Inspector Guy and Incredible Hulk.

War Rock's flying around in space and...Ghosts talk to him! Or something. War Rockuuu War Rockuuuuuuuu! War Rock flies towards earth.

Then we flash to Harp Note beating the crap out of viruses. Damn that guitar bites.
"D: THEY KEEP ON COMING! :<" And then she sees a mettaur. It's soccer time!

Inspector guy and co. try vacuuming the viruses....no avail. CHIP TIME!

Tsukasa's thinking the same thing with his evil smile o' doom...and then he talks about War Rock. Yeesh, you'd think the guy had some sort of sick love for the energy lion....thing.

Luna, Kizomaro and Gonta are running! ._. Boring. Oh wait, Gonta's falling behind! AHAHAHA! WITTY! BLACK HOLE CHIP THING! Subaru saves his big ass.

"Rockman!"
"No! Awesome Subaru-sama!" <--not at all what he says

And then...Utagai laughing.

....Calm before the storm? Maybe. Discuss! >:O

I think the next ep will have a returning Rockman that gets pwned and is in need of Satellite Powah. After that he will go pwn all badguys I think.

In any case the last few eps had some major story development, maybe even rushed story development Laughing

Hmm. In the preview for the next episode, it seems like Subaru and WarRock are back together, followed by Harp Note standing with a stunned expression on her face, followed by a cliché white-space dramatic action scene with Rockman turning around in slow motion as Cygnus Feathers come flying towards his neck.

Something really heavy is going down soon.

This is also going to be streching it far, but by the brief footage presented here, I get the feeling that this'll be a certain turning point (or perhaps a starting point) for a personal relationship between Harp Note and Rockman, and ultimately Misora and Subaru. Not necessarily romantic, mind you, but I'd wager a lot that it'll be personal.

I'm starting to like the development, at the end when Subaru told Luna that "Rockman is not coming, Rockman is no more" make me feels like the development will be similar to the games...

When WarRock was in space, I wonder if this is what he said. He mention that he heard a voice... the same voice he heard when he betrayed FM Planet which lead him to earth, except, the voice wasn't as weak as this episode, which make him think that Earth is in trouble.

I was wondering, could that voice be Daigo Hoshikawa?

Btw, did anyone notice that when Cygnus was broadcasting their declaration of taking over the Earth, you can see all the FM Human in the city's big TV screens? Do you guys notice that Cancer Bubble only have his pincles and his head are not even high enough to be in the screen view. T.T

Not to sound like an prick but I think the "summaries" should best be left to those who actually know what's going on.

Or at least those who know the character names. (The keibu's name is Goyouda Heiji. You would think people would know this after more than a few dozen episodes.)

(Mettools are called Mettrio's now btw)

Drk, Ya do sound like a prick right now. Big time. I don't care if you can understand it and I can't. I'm taking what I saw from the episode and saying what I saw about it. So what if I can't remember every single obscure character's name? We all make mistakes. I don't follow this show like a religion.

And feel free to post your damn summary if you wish. I don't really care if mine was wrong. I posted it and people read it. I never said my summary was an official "Take this and that's exactly what happened. Word for word. You don't even need to see the episode." summary. It's simply what I saw as it happened in the order that it happened. I highlighted events that looked like key events and that's that.

Whoa, cool off before this gets locked! I'll try to sound impartial here, but I might fail.

Not all of us can understand Japanese. I myself can only pick out a handful of words and phrases. However, that doesn't mean that we need word for word, blow by blow acounts of the episode. That can ruin the experience for those who have yet to actually see the episode. Don't you think that it is more fun to speculate on the possible plot until we get corrected (or confirmed) on it by those who do understand the language?

For those who can understand, good for you, but that really doesn't give an excuse to look down on the others. These threads are all for speculation and discussion, don't forget.

Uhm, there WAS a rule against posting summaries that do no more than state the obvious way back when Stream and Beast were running....

Thank you Numbergirl. That's one of the things I had in mind. (Refer to what she said in the miniature text.)

The summary above really isn't any more than a series of obvious actions followed by a lot of clowning around before stating another event that one could have simply understood from looking at a single screen shot. If you're going to make a summary, that's great as long as you at least try and make the effort to have your product be informative at the best of your ability. I'm not asking you to make a 100% accurate or intricately descriptive. I'm asking that you at least give something that helps rather than a big mess.

As for the voice...there's no real clue given to who it is by based on who War Rock is, there's a chance it belonged to Pegasus Magic, Leo Kingdom, or Dragon Sky. Not totally sure but like I said, a clue wasn't neccessarily presented.

Whatever happened to those non-summary talk-abouts? If I recall, they were allowed when it became apparent that summary threads couldn't be consistently made by people competently meeting the requirements.

Can't we just accept Shakai's scene-by-scene account as nothing more and nothing less than a list of reactions to the episode and move on?

Our ex-"Mr Decaf" has been surely getting a lot of attention and love for someone that wasn't even welcomed or liked very much in the first episodes. Wink

Also... uh... Tach? I think Runty wanted to see a clip of Subaru and WarRock. In any case, can somebody tell me where to find the previews to the next episodes? I know there's a site but I keep forgetting it... e.e'

Well, since nobody said anything, I was going to stop capping. But I haven't had any sub editing to do in forever, so I figured why not make myself useful. Even if you don't really want them. ;p
Of course, after getting 10 uploaded yesterday, ImageShack crapped out and I couldn't log in all night. So here's this week's batch, 93 total. (Kinda ignored the satelite control station dudes, figuring nobody would really care that much about them.)

I've only seen the episode once. (at 11 something last night) so, I need to watch it again and glean more stuff from it.
This is probably stating the pathetically obvious but I think the voice WarRock heard was one of the Satellite Supervisors. *shrug* Guess we'll have to wait.

Like I said, if you want to post your summary, drk, feel free to. I know my 'summary' wasn't a 'summary'. It was my reaction to the episode.

At any rate, that preview was...really short o_o And it kinda shifted over to the ape escape preview really quickly. I thought for a second that it was part of the Ryuusei preview. (Wtf? Monkeys? Train carts? OH that's ape escape)

Yes, Ryusei no Rockman and Ape Escape share a timeslot with each other. It always airs like this: Ryusei no Rockman, Sarugetchu On Air(Ape Escape), Preview of both next eps. Except in the case of ep 24-25, since then it had 1 week of 2 Sarugetchu eps and 1 week of 2 Ryusei no Rockman episodes.

But since I cut the Ryusei ep from the dual ep video they lack the preview since it comes after Sarugetchu On Air.

What set me off was how hostile Drk's post sounded.

Now that I've seen the episode, here are three things that caught my attention:

1. Ox Fire's voice has changed quite noticibly. They've taken out the filter, so now we're hearing Ox's voice straight up, as opposed to it sounding robotic like it did in Ryuusei 8-9.

2. Subaru got a slot in animation! The nostalgia...

3. Since when do viruses appear in the real world like that? It's been stated in the series time and time again that denpa cannot physically manifest itself save for special cases like the FM Ningen, but the writers keep on ignoring that. The inconsistancy is really starting to grate on me.

Overall, this was a good episode. Not as good as the last two, of course, but good nonetheless.
