PG-13 for inexplicit violence and mild language. This is a Work In Progress.
Since the dawn of time (or atleast 2001), an age-old question has passed from gamer to gamer: Samus or Master Chief? While I think Samus is the most kick-assiest lady around, I propose this humble answer: Why not both?
Metroid © Nintendo
Halo © Bungie
First, this isn't supposed to fit in with the canon. Because trying to fit something into the Halo canon is silly.
Second, anything from Prime 2 and Halo 2 and before applies to the characters, so MC and Johnson are with Miranda Keyes, Samus has her weapons from Prime 1, as well as the Pirates being from Prime 1.
Third, this isn't Delta Halo. This is an entirely new Halo.
Chapter 1: Table for Two, Please
Chapter 2: Getting Dressed to Kill
Critiques are whole-heartedly welcome! Be brutal! And honest, honesty is good too. I'm trying to improve my writing, people, so any flaws or problems you can point out would be most helpful. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Well, I don't pop in all that often, I'm mostly on the Lyokofreak forums or working on my own stuff. Make no mistake, I'm a diehard fan, but 1) Didn't know it was YOU on here, 2) I've only been on for about half a year at most.
Still, very awesome story.
I do have one flaw:
Samus is too powerful.
Now, I'm sure you're saying, "Dude, in HOAW, Bass is a billion times more so then she is," and I understand that. but even I gave him some adversaries worthy of his power, and Samus deserves something equal to her on the field of battle.
overall, a nine out of ten. _________________

Yeah, that is a bit of a problem. Seeing as Samus is, quite literally, a one-woman army. The most obvious answer to that is limiting the upgrades she's able to use at once; but I don't want to limit her too much, since her power is one of the main aspects of her character. As for weak enemies, keep in mind that, except for the battle in the second chapter, neither of the heroes has been doing much straight-forward fighting. That, as well as the foes they will be facing, will be changing sooner rather than later. I mean, come on, you can't have Meta Ridley running around without having him face off with the protagonists at some point. And don't think I've forgotten about the elite commando squads the Covenant have with them... _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Or the gigantic mecha-walkers that the covenant have been known to tote around...
Edit: Remembered what they're called. "Scarabs!" _________________
