RnR Episode 35 Talkback (We all love Spoilers)

This is my first go at this and I don't understand Japanese much (if at all), so forgive me for not being able to give as much info as others probably could.

The episode starts where we left off last time, with Ox Fire dramatically punching holes in the ground with fountains of water spraying everywhere. Too bad that it's not quite as dramatic as he'd hoped (puddles I tell you). Ophiuchus turns up, not too happy, and goes off at him, but gets interupted by Rockman, who fires his buster at them. They take off, leaving behind a bit of a mess. Poor Subaru looks a bit tired after being woken up twice that night, and I think War Rock suggests that they leave when they hear the Sirens of the Satellite Police.

Next morning, and Luna is walking to school looking kinda depressed, a quick flashback to the arguement between her and Gonta explains why. She meets Gonta (funnily enough) right after this, and it seems as though they've made up (for now).

Over to Subaru walking to school now, he seems to be wondering about what Kizamaro said about Gonta and Luna. He trails off after being greeted by them, mentioning 'something' date, which Gonta and Luna repeat confused. Kizamaro shows up next and after saying good morning, imediately goes over to Subaru and drags him off, leaving the other 'couple' behind. *tilting heads*

Now at school, everyone's in science class. Luna asks Kizamaro to be her partner, but he says he's gonna be partners with Subaru, who agrees (not really enthusiastically thou). Next in the hall, Luna asks Kizamaro something, to which he responds with pretending to have a stomach ache (brings back memories of Mr Satan from DBZ >_>), drags Subaru around the corner. There he declares something to which Subaru sighs at.

What follows is Kizamaro spying on Gonta and Luna, trying to stay out of sight. At lunch, the group's sitting at the same table together, where Kizamaro and Subaru have a whispered convo. Subaru seems to doubt that Gonta and Luna are together, but Kizamaro is ever persistant. Switch scene's to where Kizamaro is having an eye test (where'd that come from?).

End of school day and Subaru is sitting on the front steps, talking to War Rock about (you guessed it) Luna and Gonta. They talk about how Ox and Ophiuchus Denpa Henkan'ed with the two. Scene change to a fountain feature where Ophiuchus and Ox are talking in human form (water's mentioned). Switch back to Subaru and War Rock, and it seems that they've come to the conclusion that Kizamaro saw fake Luna and Gonta together (Cygnus Wing is mentioned too).

Kizamaro is walking home alone, ranting about the 'couple' when he walks right into fake Gonta and Luna. Ox remembers seeing him the day before, Kizamaro goes into a panicked rant (way too fast @_@) and says something that shocks them, and makes them angry. Subaru tries to call Kizamaro through the transer, and hears him yell out as he gets picked up and tossed by fake Gonta onto trash bags.

He tries to apologise, but those two aren't in the mood, and they "Denpa Henkan" right there, causing Kizzy to faint. But it's Rockman to the rescue! They go into battle, and it seems that Cancer's been watching the whole time, he slots in a battle card for Ox Fire, turning him into a charging flameball. O Queen sends in her snakes, which are red, causing Ox F to go charging madly after it! Subaru tries to stop him with some sort of boulder battle card, but Ox F just smashes right through it.

Wolf and Libra comment on what's going on as Rockman struggles to hold Ox F back. O Queen encourages him, saying something about getting negative energy for the Andromeda Key from Rockman. Just when things are starting to look grim for our hero, Ox F comes back to his senses. Subaru then uses Starbreak Fire Leo at the suggestion of War Rock.

They all fire off their attacks at each other, Rockman easily overpowering O Queen and Ox Fire's attacks (but not actually hitting them), and they retreat. Wolf and Libra both grudgingly look on, while Cancer looks morosley at the Fake Andromeda key.

Back to Kizzy, who's still out like a light, gets woken up and is surprised to see Subaru. Next day at school, they're hanging out the window, where Kizzy has a little rant, and then thanks Subaru for helping him out. Gonta and Luna come over and say good morning. It seems as thou Kizzy isn't willing to trust that they're real yet, so to check he pulls on their cheeks, then declaring they are, in fact real. Not that Luna or Gonta liked that! The episode ends with Subaru laughing as Kizamaro is put in a headlock from Gonta, and has Luna goes off at him.

Overall impression was that this episode was alright. There were paning scenes again, but not as excessive as in some previous eps. It seems to me as if the series has hit a lull in the actual plot and action department.

Here's me looking forward to when the story picks up again. ^_^

Well, that was a let down of the "to be continued" battle with Ox. So much for being worried about him and water. He caused a couple of puddles. (I'm not confused, but the emoticon image fits.)

I could be wrong, but I bet Subaru said something to the extent of, "Kizamaro, I think you need to get your eyes checked" when he had doubts about their "relationship." That's how I took the need for that quick scene at the eye doctor.

Also, glad to know Gonta washes his hands. Is that a scene we really needed? But the whole stealth Kizzy deal was pretty good, topped off with clumsy Gonta falling down the stairs.

I think it was still a pretty good episode, despite being a little random at times. The art was mostly beautiful, despite a couple of odd faces. Don't know if it's the same art director as the other episodes I'm thinking of, but there have been more than a few sunset backgrounds in Ryuusei. And this was another nice one. Don't know if that helped Ophiuchus' snakes look red, or if she just magically has that power (or does in the game). Battles could have used a bit more, but we saw some different things, so no complaints.

EDIT: Probably shouldn't have tried the first Rock Leo one. Tougher to grab the same shades of flame color, where I had to add it to try to match the caps correctly. But the rest stitched nicely:

As a whole, a rather cute episode. Loved the random scenes and the very nice animation.
By the way, the mentioning of Cygnus Wing was about his invention which turns FMs into Denpa Ningen, which is how Subaru figured out that the Luna and Gonta Kizzy saw were FMs in disguise.

I think that Kizzy had known that Subaru is Rockman.Do you think so?

It looked that way, but no.
Thanks to Cygnus Wing's broadcast, the whole world knows about FM Seijin.
Therefore Kizamaro won't go "How'd you know that? I see. You're actually Rockman!!!" if somebody mentions them.

Subaru was by himself during the hole incident: he had run off on his own to deal with the viruses. Also, if Kizzy had seen Subaru fall in and come out as Rockman, then Luna and Gonta would have as well, since those three are always together.

Furthermore, if Kizamaro suspected Subaru of being Rockman, the first thing he would do is tell Luna, since he's a spinless "tell-everyone everything I see" sort of type. Or, spy on Subaru as he did with Luna and Gonta. He hasn't done either thing yet.
Pretty safe to say that Kizzy doesn't suspect a thing.
