In trouble for nothing

I sometimes seem to get in trouble for nothing. Like my dad will let me pick which cookie i want and if i pick the one he apparently wants i get in trouble when he should just pick his cookie first so i dont get in trouble.If anybody else gets in trouble for no reason at all dont be afraid to add on.
