Yeah, not much currently... There's gonna be a new Pokemon in the next Corocoro though apparently, so there's that to look forwards to. |

Oh really!? I'd love to see this new Pokemon! I don't know what to expect after the last 4, hehe. XD
I've heard they've been having some difficulties with it... something about if there's a GBA game in the DS upon turning it on, it wipes your file, or some crap like that. _________________ deviantART / Live Journal / Yaoi Gallery |

Sorry, when I heard it, the rumor was that it was Diamond and Pearl. I hadn't cheked up on the rumor in a while.
Anyone know the release date of that Coro Coro magazine? _________________ deviantART / Live Journal / Yaoi Gallery |

A new Pokémon has been revealed. It looks like a Chao fused with a Chinchou. Most fans have mixed feelings about it. Some say that it looks like a Digimon. Some say that it's ugly. Some say that it's cute.
It is speculated to be the new Little Legendary. eg: Mew, Celebi, Jirachi. Three shadow's were revealed. One looks like a mini Mantine. One looks like a Quilava/ Vaporeon. The last looks like a parrot with a musical note shape head.
I shall bring more info when its available.
BTW: The dub name for Lucario/ Rukario is Lucario. _________________ ~Come to Spriting Haven~ |

Awww, it looks cute...not as cute as Manene mind you...but still....it doesn't appear to be a baby Chinchou...it's not fish-like...
I do hope that thing that looks like a baby Mantine IS a baby Mantine, that would be so great. \o\ _________________

Did I say it was a baby Chinchou?
I said that it looked like a Chao fused with a Chinchou. Many think that it's a legendary. I hope that Nintendo stop giving out Baby Pokémon and Evolutions. We would like to see some new Pokémon.
We have 1 Legendary. 3 Babies. 1 Evo. 4 Pending.
I hope that the three shadows are new Pokémon, not evo's. _________________ ~Come to Spriting Haven~ |

I didn't say you said that. I was saying it doesn't look like one to rule out the possibility of it being a baby pokemon. XD
Diamon and Pearl are going to have lots of Baby Pokemon...didn't they say that? .-.
And that thing that looks like a Mantine...it does look like a Mantine...it has the same antenna things...and those definitly look like fins.
That parrot with the "Musical note"...I had a rather odd though...what if it's an evolved form of Farfetch'd? .-. _________________

We thought that it was a Scythe earlier. That made us hope for a Murkrow evo. That shadow that resembles Mantine is fairly fat. That reminded me of Wailmer. _________________ ~Come to Spriting Haven~ |

I'm agreeing that it could be the new Mew/Celebi/Jirachi thing... Regardless of it's role though, it killed me from sheer cute.
New silouette's look pretty interesting IMO... Really hoping the bottom one's a Mantine preevo. |

I like the idea of pre-evos and evos of old Pokemon for one reason, it gives the "underrated" ones a chance to shine by getting higher stats to put them on par with some of the more popular Pokemon hopefully. |

Same. And we have what seems to be names for the silouettes now...
Tamanta, Perappu and Buizeru. Also, apparently Manafi's english name will probably be Manaphy.
According to that, apparently it's pretty much confirmed that the Mantine-ish one is a Mantine Pre-evo now.
Edit: Checked some of the Japanese names... don't think that the other two have any connections to other Pokemon. Also don't think that Manene will be a Mr.Mime pre-evo, despite looking similar. I checked every baby Pokemon, and all of them have some sort of connection to their evolution in their name, while Manene has no connection to Mr.Mime's Japanese name whatsoever. Unless you count one letter being in both names.

Someone on Gamefaqs.
Not 100% sure of it's validity due to the whole "on Gamefaqs" thing, but the names presented seem very believable, and the method that was used was also used in Ruby and Sapphire for English names, and all of them turned out to be correct. |

VS those names for those shadows are more than likely fake. They would have been on SPP if they were real.
Next monthe we'll be seeing those 3 revealed and if we're lucky we might see a screenshot of D+P. _________________ ~Come to Spriting Haven~ |

I was pretty sure that it was officially released that Manene is a pre-evo. It would be pretty damn useless as a Pokemon by itself anyway. Also, not every Japanese Pokemon chain has similiar names last time I checked. _________________ deviantART / Live Journal / Yaoi Gallery |

They're on Bulbapedia, plus, I believe the three names trademarked. I will quote the Gamefaqs post they were obtained from:
QuagsireQing of Gamefaqs wrote: | Name time!
First of all, Manafi's trademarked romanized name is "Manaphy." So unless we all wish to call it by its literal Japanese name (which, judging by the Rukario/Lucario debacle, a lot of us like to), Manaphy is the proper spelling. Chances are Manaphy will be its English name, too, so it's good practice.
The other three, it would seem, also all have names now. "Tamanta," "Perappu (unofficial Romanization: Perapp)" and "Buizeru (unofficial Romanization: Bizel)" were all trademarked as well, Tamanta belonging to what is almost certainly a pre-Mantine, and Perapp and Bizel to the other two (uncertain which is which). |
