I wonder if anyone has actually played this old game? I just got the game today, too. From what I can tell, it has really good style of graphics (manga-style if anyone needs to know). Also, some, but not all, of the music was brilliantly beautiful and good to listen to. Plus, the characters with voices have a great personality to them, but Musashi (the main character) sounds funny. The fighting system here is a little difficult to master, but it is impressive how well it works. That should be enough to say, for now, but I will post again once I got into the game more. I just hope I don't get hated for this |

Samurai Legend? That's the one after Brave Fencer, right?
I wonder if they are the same Musashi... I really, REALLY loved Brave Fencer, too bad I don't have a PS2. I would definitely get Samurai Legend. _________________ Star Fox : Command

Yes its the same musashi, Its a sequeal to the previouse Brave fencer from what I got on G4, And I have the game myself very very good game, IT haves alot of hard parts in the game where it might seem a little impossible to beat without the right equipment. The experince bar has been replace with the RPG stats now by choosing which path you want will determin how much stats you will get.
They got rid of the whole slicning your foes to increse attack power of your 2 swords, They got rid of everytime you walk a certain amount of miles your durability goes up, stuff like that has been replace with a RPG gaining stats feel everytime you level up.
But overall this game is great if you want a challenge, the combos system is very good, Gaining abilitys now lets you target your eneime and focus of the moves their gonna attack you with and pressing a certain button it tells you to learn that ability. |

True, and more to the story starts to unravel to me. Apparently, I need to save a princess from some guy named Gandrake. I also need to get five swords, somehow, in order to save the princess. Plus, copying techniques is MUCH harder than before. That's all for now. |

If its hard to get a focus techniqe try incresing more Focus when your level up. It will generate alot faster. In order to get the techniqes which it is risky is to get hit. Or moves you think that are able to be copy. You gotta keep a very sharp eye for these things.
Getting the 5 swords is easy, just getting to them is the tiring part of the game, since the levels are huge they still give you that adventure feel to it to explore for some items you might've missed. |
