Ryuusei 41 (Crabby little spoilers)

We now bring you part 2 of this... two-parter. I apologize for the choppy parts of the summary. I no speak that country's language.

Title Screen: The Great Drama Mess Plan-buku!
(Cancer Bubble announces the title.)

We pick up from last week with Cancer Bubble (now with Chiyokichi's attire again), explaining now Luna's energy is filling the Key to Crown Thunder. He covers Luna's aversion to Harp Note and shows the specter a clip from the teen drama to prove his point. The two laugh all evil-like. Crown Thunder dislocates his jaw. Ha ha. I take back what I said last week about Cancer being a Misora fanboy. He's actually a Misora otaku. He's taped every episode of that show, and has limited edition Misora stuffed dolls as well.

Shift to Subaru, who's watching the same show. He doesn't seem too interested in it though. Akane, on the other hand, is. That woman sure loves to watch TV. In a hilarious moment, she asks if he thinks she's cute. When Subaru is reluctant, she asks if he likes Luna, and he turns beet red, and leaves to pour himself coffee. Akane smiles and Warrock teases him.

It's night, and Misora's manager (don't remember the name) is stuck in gridlock. Misora's in the back seat, witness to an explosion off in the distance. She denpa henkens and leaves.

The perp is Crown Thunder, and he's having his flaming skull viruses hack away at a skyscraper. Misora uses Shock Note on him... but someone uses Bubble Bomb (?) to incase her in a... you guessed it... a bubble. Cancer Bubble is there too!

Luckily, Rockman appears and fires several buster shots at the crab. The two FMs decide to split up. Crown Thunder will handle Rockman while Cancer Bubble will take on Harp Note.

The crab holds up a notebook page filled with Japanese text that I cannot possibly read. ''Drama'' is mentioned though. Wait a minute... this has to do with that show, doesn't it! Misora does a Tesla Laugh (tm) here, then stops in confusion. Cancer Bubble beats it.

Subaru seems to have sent Crown Thunder Blasting Off Again (tm), and hops down to check out what's going on. Nothing comes of it though.

Now, Luna is reading some magazine entitled LOEV, when she sees a disturbing sight. Harp Note's shadow dances beyond the curtains. It's obviously Cancer. It's impossible to mistake that voice. He uses a recording of Harp Note from the previous scene to enhance the trick. Luna appears to call his bluff. Cancer becomes worried... and the real Harp Note drops down behind him. Busted! One Shock Note, and he's a goner!

Unfortunately, Luna throws the curtains open at the noise. The two get into an arguement that predictably shifts over to Rockman. Their auras burn bright.

And Cancer Bubble sees this. He tries to intice them further, but only gets a beatdown. Then the Andromeda Key starts glowing. He tries to summon Andromeda, but the only thing that's summoned is Rockman. And Luna fangirls. And Misora is also glad.

... Oh, no, they did not just step closer to him! The fight (not really) over his affection begins!

Crown Thunder appears with a '' Next Time: Breaking Up With Rockman!'' sign. Misora and Luna knock him out.

Cancer Bubble doesn't understand what's going on. While he waves the Key around, the tears fall out. All of the 'Negative Energy' is gone! He's pissed, and tries to use Tidal Wave, only to be beamed by a wok from Luna! Misora sends him flying with a Shock Note.

Misora and Luna have seemed to come to some sort of understanding. Everyone's friends, right? Right? asks Subaru.

Back at FM HQ, Ophiuchus mutters about this latest setback. Wolf and Ox argue. Libra makes a hasty exit. Crown is looking at a magazine photoshoot featuring Misora (...). Cancer Bubble doesn't seem too upset. In fact, he's all smiles. Maybe the bandage on the back of his head has something to do with that?

I didn't like this episode as much as last week's unfortunately. Well, it had its funny moments though, provided by Akane and Crown. So, here's to stupidity, teen soaps, and general weirdness! *drinks non-alcoholic beverage*

Personally I quite liked this episode. The animation looks very nice and there some really funny scenes in it as well.

An enjoyable episode MHO. Still, all these episodes without any true developments start to annoy me a bit though. Hopefully they won't start rushing the story arc when we've reached the final episodes.

It was a fun episode.

The part with Subaru's mother must be one of my favourite scene.
I'm not fluent in Japanese, but here's the little bits I think I got:

Subaru: [something about the show being aired again, then states something]
Akane: But isn't it interesting, that woman's battle? Misora-chan's cute...
Akane: <.< And Misora-chan is Subaru's type, eh?
Subaru: That.. that's not true!
Akane: It's not? Hmm...
Akane: So then, so then, maybe Inchou-san is?
Subaru: *blushes* Wha, what are you saying, mom? That, that's not funny at all! (or litt. interesting, pleasant) *walks away*
Akane: *Muttering* [I didn't get anything ;.;]

Rock: "Isn't she cute", Subaru?
Subaru closes the lid.

Another interesting thing to note about this episode is the shadow work near the end. X3

A great continuation, nothing like the crazy fanboy getting Harp Note to fall for his little scheme. Then to have Crown have his own bit like that fail later was hilarious. Nothing can beat the bedroom scene from last week, but still, a lot of great Cancer gags throughout.

And the whole scene with Akane questioning Subaru was funny, although looking at a few caps makes it appear like the scene's just plain wrong.

Well, we know the fake Andromeda Key can glow for whatever reason. At least it has some fake powers! I'd hope this means the FMs might have caught on to it being fake now, but I could be wrong. It'd be nice if in the next Libra arc they confront Gemini about it.

Seriously, among the fighting critters, the Misora fanboy and the otaku, the show host, the only SANE "villain" left is Ophichius. FMs are really getting to like their stay on Earth, aren't they?

Crown Thunder's sign was say (If I'm not mistaken): Next time, Breaking up with Rockman.

This episode was pretty so-so to me, although I will admit the scenes with Akane & Subaru and Rockman with Luna & Harp Note were pretty amusing.

At the end of the episode, the Wolf and Ox's arguing reminded me forcibly of WWW. ^^;

He already did after Luna use something which I believe to be a frying pan to hit him. Just before Harp Note's Shock Note hit him, he already was asking himself where is he or what he is doing.

I just saw the episode and found it really funny. Crown and Cancer are like an comedy team. One's a little kid-esque goof while one's an old man-like guy that can actually fight. They both are otakus for Misora too.
I wonder what her and Luna were saying when Megaman showed up.
And also, I'd like to see a Harp Note/O.Queen fight. Only because they're the girls of the series and I'd like to see who's stronger.
