Ryuusei no Rockman 42 Chat (spoilers inside, be careful!!!)

I'm really confused as to why nobody, not even Rock Miyabi isn't posting his summary of this episode after two weeks of it's debut. Anyways, let's talk about it, even though this is my first time trying to translate(don't flame please).

The first scene takes place at a nearby waterfall+stream with Utagai standing on a stone wearing a sort of... robe and headband. He is chanting something related to FM Seijin and performs a hand seal (*coughnarutocough*) while Amachi is looking over him (in concern). Only a few seconds after is when Utagai falls in the stream and Amachi chases after him to rescue him. Shortly after being rescued, Utagai is told by Amachi to stop doing that (that meaning waterfall praying), but Utagai refuses and still believes Cygnus is still inside of him. Amachi than tells Utagai that he's already gone, but Utagai then doubts his abilities (meaning his inventing skills) without Cygnus' help. Again, Amachi tells Utagai that he is still a great inventor. Finally, Utagai realizes that truth and runs off screaming after mentioning Demon Inventor King (hatsume daimou). Before this scene ends, Amachi, I think, says that he didn't really mean it like that.

After the title shows, we see Subaru with one of his arms going into an alley, feeling slightly embarassed being in this situation. Then, it is seen that Warrock is pulling Subaru, who apparently from his conversation with him shows that he is bored and that he wants to go somewhere, while Subaru just wants to go... um.... someplace else I guess? This conversation, while being looked over by a cute kitten, goes on with Warrock saying various place like the ocean while Subaru declines. After a while, the transer breaks (OH NOES!), technically speaking looks like a DS in two pieces with monintors taken apart and LCD cracked, while Subaru's in shock at what he sees.

TO THE AMAKEN LAB! With all comedy aside, Amachi, who knows about Rockman and Warrock already, is presented the broken transer and wonders how it got broken. Both Subaru and Warrock blame other respectively. Amachi explains that Amaken (lab not person) can fix it, but then Warrock asks where he can hide while it gets fixed. Then, Amachi presents Subaru with a Wave Scanner (like Tsukasa's), but I don't know what else to say about the conversation. Utagai then barges in, hearing about the broken transer. He presents Subaru and Amachi with ideas for the transer, with one being a vacuum, another being a toaster, and finally a swiss army knife (with a flower!?), which however are quickly declined. Utagai is then discouraged quickly, and Amachi tells him not to only focus on the transer. Utagai then tells that he has so many inventions already (I hope that's right).

The next scene takes place in Utagai's lab of inventions. Subaru is quickly amazed at how many inventions he's made, but Utagai tells that none of them really are good. Subaru then looks at a certain machine that looks like a portal of some sort, which Utagai explains that it is for clothing purposes. Warrock encourages Subaru to get on and try it, and he does go in. The machine starts running and grabs his arms, while taking his jacket and zipping it up and down. Subarau mentions something that Utagai replies with, "everyone says that" sort of sentence. Then, Subaru asks what that pyramid-shaped machine is, and Utagai answers, "Time machine" (hey, I didn't think he was crazy enough to try that!). But, it seems that he is not even close to finishing it. He also rants about his skills and his inventions.

Moving on, a virus attack on Amaken is taking place, and everyone is doing their best to stop it, even Utagai. Warrock then tells Subaru to start doing something. Denpa Henkan time! Rockman appears, Amachi notices, and everything goes back to normal again.

Next, Amachi is seen going over a dossier of something, and Subaru talks about the frequent attacks on Amaken. Utagai then rages about the FM Seijin and the viruses. Amachi converses about it a little more, mentioning the Satella police and Subaru, while Utagai thinks of a way to eliminate the problem. Utagai thinks about it out loud, and Amachi then tells Utagai that he should be focusing on inventing something like that. Subaru also encourages Utagai to invent something to solve the virus problem. This fires up Utagai, literally, into focusing on a way for everyone to deal with the denpa viruses, with an invention of course.

On a short note, the scene goes on showing him, still on fire, read books, taking notes, working on the computer furiously, drinking, and hammering a wood structure all while sporting a macho grunt. Also, we finally see the purpose of the machine (drillman's cousin, eh?) he kept in his office. The machine's a construction assistant, as demonstrated by Utagai.

On the next day, Subaru asks about his transer, but Amachi says that its not fixed yet. But, he does say that Utagai ahs been working real hard on his invention, the denpa virus taijiki (maybe). Both Amachi and Subaru decide to visit Utagai, right after closing up their conversation. Now Utagai is seen, talking in his sleep (O.o), but Amachi wakes him up. He then asks Utagai about his inventon, but Utagai says that it is not complete yet (oh, he also knows about Warrock too). He grabs the penguin (looks like one of the wataritori) and talks to it, I don't know why. Afterwards, he shows the fruits of his studies... a dollhouse-looking machine with a lever, monitor, two lights, and a dial? Amachi is impressed at how he invented such a thing, and Utagai shows how it works, even though it is a prototype. Apparently, it works in three steps: 1. It releases certain denpa waves. 2. Virus is lured to source. 3. Elimination (note: net looks like from Ape Escape).

Now, Warrock asks if he could try out the machine, and Utagai gladly does so. Lever is pushed, denpa waves are being released, and the viruses are swarming. Now comes the problem, he has not yet found a way to eliminate the viruses after they swarm to the machine. This creates mayhem at Amaken, and some of the inventions inside the lab start coming to life. Amachi is grabbed by the "clothing " machine mentioned before, and he tells Utagai to turn of the machine. But, the lever's stuck. Now, Subaru uses denpa henkan with the new Wave Scanner and is surprised to see so many viruses inside the lab. Cliffhanger here.

You haven't made any mistake, nor will I have your head for it. I'll have your brainz instead!! I try not to start any summaries until I have the screencaps ready. And as atomknight hasn't posted the HQ version yet, I don't have any caps. Truth be told, when you posted the Youtube links yesterday, all I watched was Ep. 43. Why that first, I don't know, I just wanted to see the conclusion first I guess. So I can't discuss what I haven't seen, can I? And it doesn't bother me if anybody else starts a summary. It isn't like I completely know what's going on myself. Plus it saves me a bit of time to work on other stuff! So don't worry about it!

Well, thank you... I-I didn't use a translator though. I don't know all, but I understand a bit of Japanese thanks to my part Filipino/Japanese aunt. On a side note, If you look at the Wave Scanner from the side, it looks like a Wii remote (^_^)

This is the first episode where we finally see what color Subuaru's shirt is underneath that red jacket (it's green).

The Wave Scanner Subaru received actually isn't exactly like Tsukasa's. The difference is Tsukasa's bears the Pegasus symbol; Subaru's Scanner has his pendant symbol.

It seems that Subaru carries on the trend set by Netto where the main character breaks something.

Your head, Seijin? Eh? I do like to do summaries, but I wouldn't hunt down and kill for them! It's pretty difficult, especially since I only know bits and pieces of Japanese.

I saw this ep on Youtube, so I couldn't hear anything, but I will say this: the new Denpa Henken animation was pretty slick. I'm kinda hoping that he keeps the Wave Scanner, but that seems really unlikely. Still, whenever Netto broke something, he got an upgrade to the aforementioned broken object, so maybe...
