Ryuusei no rockman anime question *possible spoilers*

I just have one question. Does any one know if they are planning to continues the series after episode 54. Only reason why is because Ryuusei no rockman 2 is going to be out soon and I'm not sure but, I think the game follows suit of the anime. So if that's the case, then it would be weird if they ended it at 54. So if anyone has any information on this, please reply.

I'm gonna try to answer your question here and in the future episodes thread best I can. There are two sites where the information is posted, first Xebec (the animation studio) which often posts upcoming episode titles first. The other is Capcom's official site for Ryuusei. That site often puts up episode summaries, which quite often are translated for us by NumberGirl.

Do not assume 54 is the last episode, as you stated in the other thread, because nobody knows for certain. Each episode number and title are announced at different points in time, so there was never a definte confirmation on how long the season would extend. As you can see from previous posts in that thread, we didn't know for sure there was an Ep. 54 until a few days ago. But if the titles are any indication, the season is wrapping up then. Based on the first season of EXE, it probably will last until Ep. 56, if they feel like keeping it similar. And the timing of the finale is most likely to be much closer to the release of RnR2 in Japan.

To that extent, there has been no announcement on a second season that anyone here has heard of, or it would've been posted no doubt. But we didn't know about the additional seasons in the EXE anime until the previous one had just about wrapped up. As there still are what, at least a good 8-10 weeks until the probable finale, they haven't announced plans for the second season. But more than likely I'd think they are planning it, unless of course the ratings give them a reason to pull it.

There is also the issue of the future of the Ape Escape anime that shares the timeslot with Ryuusei. It appears that will end before Ryuusei, and we don't know if the show itself is ending for good. So we don't know what the future holds for that half of the timeslot or how it affects Ryuusei.

Yes, it's true. The second season is called Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe. We know it starts in November, but we don't have an exact date yet. If the first season truly does go 56 episodes, then it'd be on the 10th. But we still don't know for sure yet, just that it'll be sometime that month.

My last info says that Ryusei no Rockman will last 54 eps, and that then Ryusei no Rockman Tribal will start. Ofcourse I will also be releasing that series for the fans Wink

Well, as I pointed out at On-Air, if 54 is the last episode, then there is no episode at all for the last week of October. Which would be odd, because for every other previous season of Rockman, the new season started up immediately after. There was no break in-between. So I'm under the assumption that there still might be one or two episode titles that haven't been released and won't be until we're closer to that time. Not to say that scenario is a sure thing, but it would just break the pattern is all.

*EDIT* Thanks to Nigoli's report at the Undersquare, we now know it for sure starts on Nov. 3. So again, either there is a 55th episode that hasn't been mentioned yet or there will be no episode on Oct. 27th.*/EDIT*
