Ryuusei no Rockman 48 (odd + silly summ., spoilers)

Hello! I'm back with an odd summary today. I just got to watch RnR 48 today, and it was... hilariousbeyondwordsanddescriptionsbutIwillputitupanyways *huff huff* I said it!! Now behold: Ryuusei no Rockman 48

The intro, yeah, I think was cut off a little bit. It went right into the show after a few seconds. Anyways, the first scene starts with a stary sky and Gonta asking Kizamaro something. We then see Luna, Subaru, Tsukasa, Gonta, and Kizamaro. They are all waiting for something, I guess. Then Subaru spots something. Everyone looks up, and then what looks to be a comet in the sky. Kizamaro then explains that it can appear and reappear due to the amount of Denpa it has. In short, it's a Denpa comet that is capable of changing frequencies. Everyone is amazed and mezmorized by it. Subaru then decides to put the visualizer on to see the comet's radio waves. Warrock then appears and checks it out himself, saying this is a strange type of Denpa. We now see some of the wave roads glowing a blue-ish color. Warrock blinks at the site, but Tsukasa is apparently in pain after a while (he is clenching his chest). Subaru asks if he is okay, and Tsukasa tells him he's alright with a set of glaring eyes. Then, Warrock interferes with some comments about the sight. He's now talking with a polite voice, almost galliantly, to Subaru-kun. He is shocked, while Warrock looks with a pondering pose (note: he is looking at Subaru-kun with a finger on his chin).

Title: Warrocku wa Jenturuman (Warrock the Gentleman)

Scene goes back and forth here. First, Denpa comet; then, Subaru-kun fidgeting in bed, like he has a nightmare; then, denpa comet exploding; finally, Subaru-kun wakes up from nightmarish dream. He was glad that it was just a dream, and now we hear Warrock greeting him, you guessed it, politely and adding an unimportant comment. I think Subaru-kun is still shocked that he still retains that behavior from last night. Warrock just laughs away while Subaru-kun realizes that his dream was partially true.

Now, Subaru-kun leaves the house for school. He puts on his visualizer to find Warrock commenting again -.- His voice at this time reminds me of Tamaki, but OHC (Ouran Host Club) can wait. Now Subaru-kun asks Warrock if something's wrong with him, but he answers with a 'what are you talking about?' kind of sentence. Subaru-kun just replies and *add weird sigh sound here* the rest I can't really say. Now, Warrock tells him that he's going to be late for school. Finally, Subaru-kun decides that he will go and ask Amachi-san to see if there's anything wrong.

The scene now switches to Amaken, where Subaru mentions, "denpa suisei no eikyo?". Amachi explains that the comet's unusual wave properties are affecting Warrock in some way. Subaru-kun seems to get it, and the Warrock is seen again with another unimportant comment about Amachi-san. Amachi doesn't seem to mind the comment and replies back. Then, Warrock adresses him as Amachi-sensei before this scene ends.

Later that night, we FINALLY get to see Tsukasa's house (note: he has a car!?). We now see him under his covers, still clenching his chest in great pain. He begins to question why he is feeling weak right now.

Next, FUNNY FM TIME *echoes*!!! At the FM headquarters, we see all our favorite FMs in their Denpa Henkan state acting strangely just like Warrock. Wolf is acting just like a house-trained, domestic wolf, howling and woofing. Libra is repeating "Ohaiyo gozaimasu!" while bowing. Ox is just sleeping on the floor, snoring XD Now we see Ophiuchus, Crown, and Cancer. Of course, Ophiuchus, who too knows about "denpa suisei no eikyo", is also affected, acting with a more girlish attitude (ex: squealing, high-pitched voice, arms together, etc.), just TOO CUTE!!! Cancer has a somewhat more serious tone than before and notices Crown. Crown, well, er, I... don't know. He seems to not be affected at all by the denpa comet, just more 'power up' as he says. Cancer seems surprised and then he imagines a dream bubble of a bluntly drawn crab mentioning something about "time service". Now Crown does almost the exact same thing, but he dreams up a badly drawn skeleton and the rest I can't say. Then, Crown clatters his teeth and rants with a serious tone. Cancer, snipping his pincers, does the same, except he uses a tidal wave and not thunder and fire like Crown. Tidal wave falls on Cancer and Crown, and Crown shakes off water and proposes an attack. Cancer obliges. Now, Ophiuchus comes in and gives a cute, childish face (KAWAII XD); Wolf howls and runs; Libra says "Ohaiyo gozaimasu!" while bowing; finally, Cancer just rants-BUKU!

Scene goes to city, then to the cschool bus. Apparently, Subaru-kun's class is going on a field trip to somewhere. In the back, Gonta asks Subaru-kun about the comet. Subaru-kun just replies with a 'yes', while he ponders if this can help understand Warrock's strange behavior. Suddenly, the bus stops, a huge explosion has occured nearby, and people are running away. The teacher tells everyone on the bus to run away. Subaru-kun doesn't and decides to check it out. What he sees is a... HOLEY MOLEY it's a HUGE CANCER BUBBLE!! Subaru-kun is shocked at the site, and Cancer now comments about his size (note: flashback occurs after comment, dream bubble appears). Now, he damands that Rockman come out and fight him. He destroys some buildings with his huge Boomerang Cutter, causing some of the rubble to fall on Subaru-kun. Warrock suggests that his growth was a side effect of the denpa comet. Now Subaru-kun asks Warrock to denpa henkan. This leads to another show offy comment, which causes Subaru-kun to tilt and say something else. Anyways, Denpa Henkan! Now Rockman confronts the now huge Cancer Bubbles. He spots Rockman, and now the scene goes back to FM headquarters.

The HD shows Rockman, which Wolf woofs at. Libra says "Ohaiyo gosaimasu, Rockman!". Crown is just talking about Rockman, analyzing the situation. Ophiuchus just comments with her girlish tone.

Back at Kodama City, Cancer now wants to fight Rockman, confident with his size. Subaru-kun decides to fight, but Warrock says no. He suggests that they try to persuade him into doing non-violent actions. Subaru-kun is just surprised since Warrock usually enjoys fighting. Cancer is just annoyed and starts asking a "what are you talking about!?" kind of sentence. Then, he uses a huge Tidal Wave attack on Rockman, flooding the streets in the process. Of course Rockman is hit hard, but Warrock still thinks that the battle can be won without violent action. Subaru-kun, obviously, disagrees with that. Cancer looms over Rockman and decides to to squish him with his pincer to finish him off. Did it work? NO, he's ALIVE! Rockman can somehow lift Cancer Bubble's pincer. Then, Subaru-kun realizes that even though his size has changed, his original weight didn't. He decides to throw Cancer, Bowser-style, into a building. He's out and, what's this, green stuff is leaking out of his body!? He's starting to shrink to his normal size! With that, he retreats. Also, another detailed comment by Warrock, which I have no idea what it means, is mentioned, and Subaru-kun asks what is he saying.

Back at FM headquaters,it would seem that Wolf and Ophiuchus are disappointed at the loss. Crown, however, has been analyzing Rockman and his inability to actually "fight". It would seem our dignified duke has something in mind for the next attack. He laughs with his chattering teeth again, with his jaw cracking again (just like in RnR 41) and the scene switching to the denpa comet again. Cliffhangers here.

So, how was that. Not bad huh? I personally thought the episode had great potential. Especially Opiuchus, because she looked and sounded more funny here than in RnR 47. I've got a PRETTY strong hunch that Tsukasa's adverse reaction is connected to his closeness with Gemini. It's affecting Gemini in some way or another, and in turn is affecting Tsukasa.

Well, looks like Cancer Bubble is different from Bubbleman in one respect: he's getting shoved down our throats, unlike the blue guy. Six Cancer Bubble episodes total, five of them within ten episodes, only two of those five that actually amused this poster. It's out of hand. I wanna see more of the other FMs, thank you very much.

That comet sounds interesting though. Maybe the FM King will make his debut before long.

It was nice to see the episode, but other then that not one I would re-watch again. I can't believe I'm saying this but I start to get a bit tired of Cancer Bubble. The scene with Tsukasa was interesting though, maybe we'll learn more of his condition in the next episode.


I can't really say I liked this eppie, in several parts the animation annoyed me a bit as well. I normally like this style we see most often in the series, but in this case there were some very strangely drawn scenes. I hope the next episode will be better.

I haven't really seen this episode, so I can't comment on it. I stopped watching the eps somewhere around episode 38 due to all the filler. But after reading this summary, I'm starting to wonder if the filler might be coming to an end. Or that everyone's wish about the Split Sparker might be coming true...

If Omega had such a personality switch due to the comet, why couldn't Pat? It wouldn't surprise me if we saw Rey develop before long...

It's already been established that Pat and Gemini are much farther along than Geo and Omega, what with Pat being able to sit on the Wave Roads outside of Wave Form, so the idea of the comet effecting Pat isn't so far-fetched.

Uhm...

Tsukasa can't just sit on wave roads... it's just Gemini that turned him into denpa and then he could stay sit calmly. Cygnus could do it with Utagai as you could see, too.
