Maxis' new child. The creators of the Sims give us an even more fully-customizeable game which follows your creation of a species, its evolution, and eventual graduation into sentience and intergalactic colonization. And what's more, you can manually create every part of your creature, and the game automatically configures it so that however strange its bodily components are, it will still interact with the world in a realistic fashion in regard to its structure. Otherwise, you can create everything from cities to UFOs, to eventually entire planets. They all have the same level of complete customization.
This is a game born of genius. Discuss. :O

This has got to be a huge step in gaming. The concept of this looks to be a hugely fun game in the works. This is the first time in a long time that I'm looking forwards to a game that ISN'T Rockman. The ability to create your own species and have it evolve into a civilization is brilliant. I want this. Users making their onw contect is something I've wanted for a while now.
(And not to get too off-topic, perhaps I'll make a thread in Games Center to avoide doing so, but this could be applied to customizing navis for a great MMORPG, ne?)
The game looks fantastic. The concept, groundbreaking. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

I'm still kinda amazed how they can input so many variables into the program and make it alll work out. XD If they come out with this, EXE MMORPGs will be possible, and hell-fun. Though I wonder how much interaction is done with the world itself, and not simply with the character, at a lower level of evolving.

Well now...this is interesting; it's almost like making history yourself. I find this most facinating. Games like this where the developer actually strives to make something new is always worth a play. |

Sorry Nazne for the late reply... was worried about contreversial issues which might happen if I did say something about it...
Everyone seems to have said what I want to say about it being a fresh gaming experience and being a powerful tool.
However, this game seems to take in the idea of evolution and creationism and mix them together. It's kind of like those war games with some ideology put in... Maybe I'm just thinking too much
And Yes, I still DO take u seriously even if you had posted in that topic that you were Christian, Buddhist or whatever else(oops...guess that was a rhetoric...but then...) _________________
