10/05/07: Greiga costume debuting at Oni-Con

For those who don't visit the Anime/Manga section of the forum often, I have been continually posting progress updates and tutorial information on the Griega Beast Out Rockman costume I have been building for almost a year now.

Two weeks from now, at Oni-con in Houston, I will finally be debuting the completed version of this costume. ^_^ So if you're also attending the con, please say hi! A friend of mine has also asked if I would speak about the costume at a panel of hers concerning large costumes, so I will be contributing some information there too. ^_^

Hope to see some familiar faces!

I had a really great time wearing this, and I'll be wearing it again to the cons in 2008. :) Possibly Ushi-Con and most definitely A-kon. Otakon is kind of iffy, it depends on if I can find an affordable way of GETTING it there, cause it takes up sooo much room. ^_^;; *has the entire costume shoved into four separate giant garbage bags at the moment*

This was my first cosplay contest to ever enter, as I don't feel right in entering a contest where I didn't make 100% of my costume. Other than my makeshift Zelos cosplay from Symphonia, Greiga is the first real big project I did all alone. So it felt even better when I won a Judge's Award. ^_^
