I just thought of somethnig and wondered if a reason was given or if this is a plot hole. In the last episode of EXE, the viruses in the DA were all weak to water attacks. So why doesn't everyone use water attacks on the Viruses/ Navis that appear in DA's in axess?? _________________ You're an honest man, that's good. good point but they always flee from viruses, when there is no one in CF nearby. They could just run to the bathroom and get a pail of water. -.- :stonecube: _________________ You're an honest man, that's good. Now let me take attendance so I can find out who the hell you are! -My Health Teacher

I always thought that the Demensional Areas used in Axess were very different from what was created by the Demension Core in episode 56. Maybe because the Demension Core was experimental, it wasn't able to fully bring cyber objects into the real world completely, making the viruses weaker, therefore creating that side effect to water.
The Demensional Converter however, converts real area into Demensional Area, thus allowing viruses and net navis to fully come into the real world with all their power.
But that's just my theory... still, there ARE a lot of differences from the Demensional Areas in Axess compared to what happened to that shopping mall in episode 56. _________________

What I like to know is why they could not summon rockman and blues to fight the dark loides that appears. The loides are navis so are rockman and blues _________________ Avatar by May, many flowers and thanks for the wonderful avatar. |

Yeah, I mean if Dark loids can come to the real world, why can't Rockman and Blues? |

Yeah, that always had me wondering too. When I first watched episode 11 of Axess, I thought that when Netto couldn't get inside the Demensional Area, they would just find a way to send Rockman in... but no. My guess is, well... this'll be a spoiler I suppose, if you haven't watched episode 49 of Axess, please do not read the spoiler text:
[spoil:cc1dca61ff]During the plan to trap Blues in a Demensional Area, all the good guy navis destoryed a warp hole that Blues used to get from the Cyber World to the Demensional Area. My guess is, since Regal is the one producing the Demensional Areas, that only Dark Loids that have like, a password or something, can use these warp holes.[/spoil:cc1dca61ff]
Still, that doesn't explain why Rockman can't go inside a Demensional Area that SciLab produces. My guess is, since Cross Fusion is such a signifigant power up, and it's more effective then a stand alone navi, the Net Saviors encourage Cross Fusion so they can have some sort of an advantage over Dark Loids. _________________

The water issue is solved by superdanny, so for the Navi in dimentional area
here's a COULD BE explanation: Navis are programs linked to the PET, when they loose their connection they can't recieve orders. The dimentional Area creates a closed space where the net and real world merges, so they loose they connection with the PET trough the net if it's done. Other thing can be a filter in the dimentional converter, leaving the unwanted data in the net. _________________

And during the fight it is a point to use cross fusion
[spoil:ee0756688f] To protect the operator from foe (knowing that taking down the net opt first bring a great victory) and boost up the navi ablilties.[/spoil:ee0756688f]

-_-; Heh... I'm not exactly sure how that could be taken as a spoiler though.
Ok, Nare's theory is good too, a navi dependant on an operator might be helpless inside a Demensional Area because of a cut off in the connection to the PET that the Demensional Area causes.
However, there is the Battle Chip Gate. Using it, Enzan was able to directly send battle chips to R Rockman, whether he's inside the Demensional Area or outside of it. This proves that it's not impossible to operate a navi through Demensional Area.
I honestly believe it's possible for Rockman, or any operator dependant navi to come into a Demensional Area, however, it's always just been kinda pointless to do, seeing how Cross Fusion is much stronger and more effective. And now with these Stream episodes, I doubt we'll ever see it, seeing how Cross Fusion is not only a power up, it's also the operator's only defense against navis in the real world. _________________

Well I go with the theroy that the Demensional Area is diffrent from the Demensional Core. Possably the reason that Dark Loids can apper but not oprated navis is because
Axess Episode 20 Spoiler:
[spoil:76caa8aeac]It's possable that it's because the Dark Loids were born in the net and not made by humans derectly. And the reason Dark Blues can apper is because the dark chips can give a navi the same kind of program that a Dark Loid has to apper in the real world[/spoil:76caa8aeac] |

Actually...I noticed that Megaman and Roll used a lot of water chips in the first episode of AXESS, although that was still inside of the cyberworld so that doesn't matter... |

Roll never uses non-aqua chips.
[spoil:bfd1b6c695]Even that time she uses a sword in Axess(When Forte appears), it was an Aqua Blade.[/spoil:bfd1b6c695] _________________

Yes she does, she uses the Spreader, Mini Boomers, and the Tornado in the episode featuring the first DoubleSoul/Soul Unison.
I've always assumed that Regal has some kind of lock on his D-Areas to keep Net Saver's Navi out. But as its been pointed out, Cross Fusion is more powerful anyway, so why bother? _________________

so basically only darkloids can use Regal's dimensional converters? That does explain why Laika didn't send Searchman into the real world in episode 18 of Axess. Even so, it doesn't explain why other operators, like Meiru or Dekao send their navis in. I haven't seen enough stream, but I'm sure operators have had chances to plug in to a dimensional area. They don't have a synchro chip, so they just stand there and do nothing. Surely if they COULD send their navis into a dimensional area, they would.
Of course the water issue... In the last episode of EXE, they were using real water. Not weapon data from a chip. The water just acted on the viruses like water on a computer and caused them to short out. The chips in the cyberworld may have aquatic characteristics, but it's not actual water. It's just programmed to act like water. It's cyber water. Real water can short out materialized navis and viruses by cyber water is just a weapon in the cyberworld with the qualities of water.
Now if you'll excuse me, excessive use of the word "Water" has made me thirsty... _________________ Original name: blazequest |

Well now in Stream, it's different... In Stream, the only threats so far that required Demensional Area were either Asteroid Viruses or Asteroid Navis, and therefore, they do not need to transmit into the Demensional Area, seeing how they are already in the real world to begin with. Please do not read the spoiler text if you haven't watched much Stream:
[spoil:417400d8b0]From episode 3 and onward, the Demensional Generator is used instead of the Demensional Converter. Now so far, NO net navi has actually materialized into a Demensional Generated Area from an outside source, so it's impossible to say that a Demensional Generated Area is even possible of linking to the Cyber World, let alone a PET... however, the new Battle Chip Gate is able to transmit battle chips into a Demensional Generated Area, this has so far been the only thing transmitted INTO a Demensional Generated Area, everything else has been either Asteroid influenced, or of course, Cross Fusion...[/spoil:417400d8b0]
So who knows, maybe Meiru and Dekao CAN'T send navis into the Demensional Areas of Stream, seeing how the conditions are totally different now. I mean seriously... where would you plug in? _________________
