Episode starts with the series logo and the opening few seconds of Heart Wave, skipping the full opening. We're at Amaken where a random scientist informs Amachi that Andromeda has activated and brings it up on the big screen. Subaru and Co. look on in alarm, and WarRock talks about Negative energy. Then we're with Andromeda where she opens her mouth(?) and release what appears to be negative energy which forms into a swarm of viruses. Gemini Spark orders her to go forth and destroy the earth.
Title Screen: Andromeda
Andromeda is now above a town, where she releases a shock wave of sorts, which sends out a circle of destruction. Jump back to Amaken, and Subaru and Misora are outside now. Subaru says that they've got to defeat Andromeda, and WarRock says something along the lines of fighting hard. Harp says they've also got to fight and Misora seems to agree. Denpa Henkan! Whoo, new Henkan sequence for Misora! Not as fanservice-y as the last one. She's got the same Crossfusion background now, finishing with a musical note pink/orange background.
On the wave road, Amachi talks to Rockman telling him that thanks to the Star Carriers, they'll have extra support... and good luck. Harp Note points out that there are viruses ahead. Rockman mentions it's the perfect time to test the Star Carriers out.
No more Battle Card chomping... it appears as though the battle card data is stored in the Star Carriers, allowing for immediate activation. Rockman activates a Firesword? followed by a Tail? Burner while Harp Note activates a Aquasword? (the Harp guitar disappears) followed by Plasma Gun (not sure). Utagai seems really happy about how well it works, as does Amachi.
Andromeda is still wreaking havoc on towns in the north and then heads out over water. Rockman and Harp Note approach Andromeda and attack but it has no effect and they jump onto her and try again, only to get knocked off carelessly. Harp Note seems to comment on it having no effect. Gemini Spark appears behind them and says it's useless. And something about the FM King.
Subaru tells Tsukasa to open his eyes, but they ignore him and send a Gemini Thunder their way. Rockman pushes Harp Note out of the way, knocking them off the Wave Road and into the water. Gemini Spark B tells Andromeda to fire and sends a missile at the pair. A plume of water rises up in their wake. Amachi and Utagai look on in horror, but there's an even bigger problem. The support Scientist informs them that Andromeda is heading for Japan.
We see a red wave racing along the Wave Road which dives off into the water. Underwater, Rockman is lying on the ocean floor. A voice tells him to open his eyes; it's Cancer Bubble. Rockman asked if he saved him, (or something to that effect) and he says something like he only wanted to save Misora (typical). WarRock comments and Subaru asks if Cancer can look after Harp Note, and that he'll go after Andromeda.
Utagai and Amachi are releived to find out that he's alright, and quickly inform him that Andromeda is headed for Japan. Andromeda causes a major panic as she sends meteors crashing down into the city. The Satellite Police show up, and Gouyoda is not looking to happy. Neither are his men, but he say's their to fight anyway, but Andromeda sends out her destruction wave after them, while everyone at Amaken looks on. Gemini Spark is also looking on. Spark W admires the Andromeda Key, commenting on something to do with the Negative energy within it.
Suddenly Ice Pegasus Rockman appears and attacks, freezing Andromeda entirely. She just breaks through it, but now she's transformed into her ultimate mode. Oh, wait spoke too soon about Card Chomping: Subaru pulls out the Star Break again and transforms into Green Dragon, attacking with the Element Cyclone, but is grabbed in Andromeda's giant hand. Down on the ground, Luna, Gonta and Kizamaro are watching amoungst the debris. Luna wants to go help but Gonta and Kizamaro stop her, saying it's too dangerous.
Rockman manages to pull his arms free, and Star Break, transforms into Fire Leo. Now he's on the wave road as he attacks, but to little effect once again. Gemini Spark B says something and Spark W orders Andromeda to... did he just say NebulaGrey?? O_O Anyways, Andromeda sends out her blast, and Rockman activates Barrier, but it just goes right through, sending him flying.
Amachi and Utagai are horrified, Gouyoda calls out and Luna comes running closely followed by Gonta and Kizamaro. They arrive to find Rockman in his normal form, knocked out in a crater. And then he transforms back into Subaru!! They look on shocked, and Luna smiles, then faints.
Next scene shows the 3 satellites activate, and the coresponding Star Break cards react to it, and circle above Subaru, calling out to WarRock with the Admin's voices. They then appear before him and show him Planet AM, and it's destruction, and tell him that the FM Seijin destroyed it and that he is an AM Seijin, much to his shock!
Preview shows what looks like 3 WarRocks in Star Break forms, rather than Rockman.

I really enjoyed this episode. The artwork was extremely well done, and the episode flowed quite well. Now there's only one more episode until the end of the series. It's gone by quickly, don't you think? ^_^ _________________ "There is no coincidence, only Hitsuzen" Yuko, xxxHolic

I think he said Nebula Blazer/Breaker, not Nebula Grey. O_o
Sounds fitting. And now this episode reminds me of Pokemon.
Good episode overall. _________________ "But there's no sense crying over every mistake.

The preview also has a quick shot of Subaru as Ice Pegasus.
Plus the attack was Nebula Breaker. _________________

When Rockman and Harp Note confront Gemini Spark, it almost sounded like Gemini Spark was trying to talk Rockman into joining them. Or at least staying out of the way of their plan. Or something to that effect. :/
In any event, I really can't wait to see how the next episode plays out. _________________

A very nice episode, I really liked the art. It was much better than I initially expected. Only one episode to go, looking really forward to it. _________________ This great avatar is made by Synchro-kun. Thank you! |

No, the attack is "Nebula Blazer". The Capcom Kanzen Guide says so, the Perfect Nav guide says so, the Ultimate Nav guide says so, and the Famitsu Kanzen guide says so.
And the cards/transformations are called "Star Force"...."Star Break" is the action of using Star Force just like "Predation" is the action of using any other Battle Card. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

After having seen Harp Note use Battle Cards now, I can now confirm that Subaru is, in fact, left-handed!
At first, I was a bit thrown off because he always wore his Transer on his left arm, which would indicate that he was right-handed (since he would use his right hand to slot in Battle Cards). Back then, the reason I thought his Battle Cards were equipped to his left arm was because that was where is buster was. But after seeing this ep and doing some extra delving, I have solid proof that Subaru is left-handed.
Here's just ONE example. Taken from episode 16.
It's Subaru doing his homework and he's holding the stylus in his left hand.
And also, I STILL don't understand how Rockman can talk and breathe underwater. I can understand Cancer Bubble since he's water compatible, but what does Rockman have that can allow him to do so?
I am also assuming that since the Andromeda Key wasn't filled to maximum capacity, Andromeda can't drill down into the Earth's core like he did half a series ago. _________________

When he switches from being in a solid form to being radio wave form, breathing shouldn't matter. After all, he's able to breathe/talk in outer space too. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

I thought the outer space scenes were just a projected image around Subaru. _________________

There's also the scene where Rockman confronts Cygnus in outer space to stop the satellite crash to Earth.
Anyway, the art was real pretty with nice details and shapes, but the animation at some parts was a bit lacky.... a little uncoherent to itself if I may say so. Some scenes were so prettily animated, only to have in the middle a still shot. Oh well.
One more episode, then a week without Rockman. :c Then Tribe starts! :D _________________ SPOILER:

The game=/=the anime.
Just think of it this way:

Anyway, this episode was great. ...And I love how Andromeda just pwnt a city by farting. That was pretty funny.
(If he used a doom beam, he would've face downwards, no? :p)
Oh yeah. I love how Gemini and Tsukasa's only lines now are "Gemini Thunder!" _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

Poor Sharo, getting wiped off the map by some floating skull of d00m.
Pretty good episode. I too thought the art was pretty good. Yes, there were a few stills, but no slideshow battles, which is always a plus. I liked how they showed all of the random Wave Roads in the background, and how Andromeda did more in this episode than it did in the entire Andromeda Key arc back in eps 26-33. It kinda reminded me of a World Devestator when it released all those viruses though.
Looks like Cancer is now officially a good guy. I wonder what the deal with the three Rockmen in the preview is though, not that they seemed to do much against Andromeda's battle form, which still reminded me of Cache. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

Youtube kinda dim down the qulity so it was hard to see much, but either way this episode was outdone amazingly in my opinion for actually being a 10 minute episode and not 9 minutes.
Can't wait for the next episode! |

What are you talking about? There's no weeks without Rockman. Tribe picks up one week after 55 airs...
And why are people having such a hard time accepting that RADIO WAVE humans are capable of breathing underwater? It's the same logic that explains why they're also invisible to normal human eyes and why they can pass through solid objects, and it's all explained in, like, the first few episodes. A Radio Wave Human can alternate between being a solid object (i.e., a human) and not solid (i.e., radio waves). And, last time I checked, radio waves never had to breathe underwater or in space. _________________

Good thing for Luna she was so obsessed with Rockman that she didn't realize where Gonta's hand went to stop her.
Art appeared to be better than I had thought it would be after seeing the initial caps. I think as far as most Rock/Harp animations went, they looked really nice. Didn't have any problem with Cancer or Gemini really. But when it came to the ordinary humans (Amachi, Utagai, occasionally Subaru, etc.), especially when they were angled oddly or farther away, that's where you could see the issues with the art. They just had that Nomoto feeling, to me at least.
At least War Rock still got to use predation for the Star Break forms. The new animation is a lot less cheesy and is pretty smooth. But I think I'm gonna miss the munching, now that I've gotten used to it.
And @Seiko, I think when Rock and Harp jumped into the ocean and came up gasping for air, it added to the confusion that is throwing some people off. Thinking if they're in that form, they should either always be able to breathe normally or not. Just a hunch, unless they just really aren't paying much attention to the series to understand the show's Radio Wave physics. _________________ Avatar art thanks to toberboobap, animated gif thanks to Dr. Wily II

Good episode overall, though the fights seemed a little off to me. Misora's new henshin sequence doesnt seem as good as the first one either Oh well, I'm glad they decided to show Andromeda as something more than a giant drill. |

I hated her first Henshin, too much unnecessary movement. This one is nice and simple. Although the lack of a visible Harp seems awkward...her henshin is clearly modeled after Subaru's....
There were some good shots this week...so it was okay, I'll take a better look when the HQ episode is released. _________________
