Are there any particular movies that have come out this year or will be coming out this year that you are thinking of seeing?Here are my picks and why:

"One Missed Call"-I think this came out this year,but if it didn't,stop me.When I first saw the trailer,the movie was quite interesting,having a cell phone be a centerpiece of horror.Oh!With the scary zombie masks...so lovely...

"What Happens in Vegas"-LOL!I've been seeing the trailers like nuts and this movie seems like a keeper in my book.Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher are quite a laugh on screen in one of the few romantic comedies that make me smile.{Comes out May 9th}

"Whiteout"-Okay.This movie's release date is up in the air at the moment,but I'm hearing that it's coming out in October.I love a good murder mystery,the arctic and tough women all wrapped up in one.Combine those 3 and I'm sold.

"Twilight"-Heard some good things about the book series from some friends and online.But,knowing my mom,she'd kill me if I went to see it.Still,I won't mind plunking down some money to see this vampiric movie.{Comes out December 12th}

Movies I've seen that I'd like to reccommend.. not sure if this is the place.

I am Legend- Nuff said. One of the best movies I've seen that kept me covering my eyes and ears.

Cloverfield- Although not as detailed, it's enough to keep you.. dizzy.. nauseous.. As it has for me.

Forbidden Kingdom- Hilarious. But fights are epic. Go for the fights.

Movies Id like to see:
Forgetting Sarah Marshall- Ive heard its hilarious and a great movie. Ive always wanted to see this since theres ads everywhere. Razz

Prince Caspian- Wanna go sooo badly! Ive seen the first one and it was great. I hope this one will be as good!

I've heard that One Missed Call (not the japanese one) was an awful recreation.

I recently saw The Forbidden Kingdom, and loved it. Great Movie.

I'm looking forward to the Death Note movie (not sure if that counts), LakeView Terrace (sam jackson ftw~), and I am Legend (need to see it, even though it's not in theaters anymore).

Nothing else really sticks in my mind at the moment.

Though I would like to reccomend 88 minutes to anyone who hasn't watched it. It was a good mystery, though kind of short.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a movie I've been looking forward to for ages. Everyone in my family is a big time Indiana Jones fan and we've been planning to see this movie ever since the project was announced.

Speed Racer was originally an anime, wasn't it? Wow, the first American adaptation to my list. I hear Iron Man is good. Looking forward to seeing it!

Right now, I am really curious about Iron Man. Since I have seen practically every Marvel Comic movie of the recent time (and Iron Man was one of my most favourite of Marvel cartoons back when I was little) I wanna see their take on a life action movie on it.

And yes, the new Indiana Jones looks pretty promising too.

But what I am REALLY looking forward to is a movie that is pretty obscure in its information about its progress and release. It's the life action/computer animated movie of Cyborg 009, another anime I very much adore. Rumours about its release are varying but I heard it's somewhere around this year or the next. I am really psyched to go see this one.

That Mummy movie...is that supposed to be a sequel to the Mummy movies with Brendan Frasier?
And they announced that HBP is going to be a 2008 release?

As for my list:

-I've already got plans to go and see Iron Man with a friend of mine on Monday.
-I also have plans to go and see Speed Racer with my dad...apparently, he was a big fan of it when he was a kid.
-Prince Caspian
-Batman (loved Batman Begins...)
-Wall-E
-Forbidden Kingdom

I'm still debating whether or not to see Speed Racer. The trailers are like a Hot Wheels commercial jacked up with a combination of Mountain Dew and acid!

Indiana Jones, I'm gonna see on the Friday I get out of school. Dark Knight looks promising, as does Wall-E.

2008's a good year so far then, because I'm one of those people who only see like, two movies in theaters a year!

Hm, of the stuff just out or coming out in the next few months, I want to see:

Spiderwick Chronicles
28 Dresses
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Gekijouban Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl: Giratina to Sora no Hanataba - Sheimi

(that one's a mouthful)

And if Charlie Bartlett comes out here, I really want to see it. >.>;

I'll guess maybe a crush on Shia. But that's just a guess. But that pokemon movie sounds interesting. Mostly because Giratina is a favorite pokemon of mine.

The Dark Knight - The new trailer came out in HD today via a viral site(also plays during Iron Man), and I am looking forward to seeing this more then ever now. Ledger seems to have nailed the Joker.

I might go see Iron Man, but aside from those there is nothing really that I am looking forward to that I have not already seen.
