I was really sad to hear the news yesterday that Heath Ledger had passed away. It's possible he overdosed accidentally on sleeping pills. They said after his role as the new Joker in the upcoming Batman movie, he had trouble sleeping (who wouldn't?). Truly a shame, and he'll be missed.
Other notable movies:
- 10 Things I Hate About You
- A Knight's Tale
- The Patriot (my favourite of his)
- Brokeback Mountain
- Monster's Ball
- The Brother's Grimm
- Lords of Dogtown _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

Yeah, this news upset me as well. As some of you may have noticed I have had him portraying the Joker as my avatar for a little while now with the tagline "Why so Serious?". Now it kind of comes off as creepy, even if it doesn't portray Heath but a fictional character he played.
It's really sad to see him go at such a young age. I felt that he would've enjoyed tremendous success after his Dark Knight performance, and it's a shame he won't get a chance to enjoy it after the amount of work he put in. _________________ Name shortened from Serenade.exe |

So that's a lot of movies he played in? This is quite a shock. I'm as surprised as the next person really. |

Well the only marginally good thing he was ever in was Patriots, and it was crappy.
Still sad to go so young. RIP _________________

I was watching the local news yesterday when the news broke out.Didn't know much about Heath Ledger(I did know him for his notable role in "Brokeback Mountain" and the new Batman flick),but so young!
He will be missed by his family, the fans and his fellow actors.
Even worse...I didn't know the guy was Australian...>_< _________________ Things are going to be changing soon in the next few months.Stay tuned for updates and the like. |

Yeah, it is sad that he passed, especially I was hyped about him being Joker in "The Dark Knight" after seeing the teaser preview they showed before "I Am Legend" he was frickin' awesome. I wasn't a big fan of his, but he was a great actor never the less and it's sickening he passed over something so common it seems nowadays on the news with famous people OD'ing on drugs. Never the less, he will be missed. Thanks for everything Legder! We'll see you at the movies.... _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

That Dark Knight IMAX preview/scene shown before I am Legend was pure awesome, too bad I didn't feel the same way about the movie that followed it. :P
As bad as it is I'm glad to hear that it was at least an accidental overdose. When the story first broke there were people speculating suicide, and then there was white powder on a $20 bill in his room. That's all been put to rest now though. The powder wasn't drugs and there's no signs that he intended to OD. It's just better to know that he didn't intend to end his life. _________________ Name shortened from Serenade.exe |

Outta curiousity, what was the white powder? .-. _________________ The time is come. Bid farewell to your bloodstained past.

From what I understand it was a mixture of perscription drugs and over the counter sleeping pills. Apparently it seems to be a accident and wasn't intentional, as reporter Keith was having trouble sleeping. _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-
