Mega Man: Powered Up Guide & FAQ
________________________________________________________________________________
Story
The year 20XX. With the advancement of science humans are able to create
industrial humanoid robots. A helper robot by the name of "Mega" lived
peacefully in the labs of the foremost authority on robotics, Dr. Light. Until
one day...
This is where you begin to play. Dr.Wily appears on the screen and steals Dr.Light's robots. You then meet at the lab, and get upgraded to Mega Man or whoever you are playing.

Overview
When you turn the game on, you will be brought to a title screen with the options of the following. New Game, Continue, Construction, Challenge, and Options.
New Game - This option allows you to begin a whole new adventure from the start with Mega Man and friends. You can choose "New Style" or "Classic Style."
Continue - Here you can continue the adventure you previously started to immediately begin playing.
Construction - Construction is a unique feature that allows you to build your very own stage. You get to choose the stage design, weapons, items, and enemies to fight in the stage. You can also access Mega Man Powered Up WEB here to upload you own stage or download special stages, characters or other fan made stages.
Challenge - Here you can take the 100 challenges this game offers. It is a unique thing that really will test your knowledge and skills. If conquered you can access a very nice prize at the end.
Options - You can change the sound settings and the auto save settings here.
New Style - New style is an up close view of the game with all of the new bosses ands items. This mode is the most updated. (Suggested by me for first time players.)
Classic Style - In this mode you can view the screen in a classic like feel and defeat only the bosses from the original Mega Man game.
Once you begin the game, and took my advice by beginning with New Style, you come to a boss selection screen. Here you can choose to take on Cutman, Iceman, Gutsman, Bombman, Elecman, Oilman, Timeman, Proto Eye, or Mega Man? (Yes the "?" is suppose to be there) is you play as another character besides Mega Man. When you play through the boss stage, I suggest first defeating the boss with the Mega Buster only because if you do so, you unlock that boss as a playable character. You then get to use these characters on the story mode and challenge mode.
You will be rewarded a medal for defeating the boss in easy, medium, and hard modes. Do so on all bosses with every character will unlock special features. So prepare your Mega Busters for some challenges ahead. (Here I come Dr.Wily!)

Tricks, Tips, & Secrets
- When possible, try to use Protoman if you want to defeat a challenge easily. Protoman has the strongest basic attack, is the fastest, and can jump the highest. He also has a shield to fiend off basic attacks.
- When fighting an enemy, and a Health Bot, do not get too close for they may attack without warning!
- Sometimes it is best to get a preview of a stage you feel is difficult before actually taking on the stage.
- If you feel a stage is too hard, and you run out of lives too fast, do not fret. There is a solution. I suggest going to Fireman's stage on Easy, go until you get the live which takes about 20 seconds, and then exit the level. You can get up to nine lives and they do stay.
- Practice makes perfect. Keep trying at whatever your struggling at. I suggest going back to levels and practice trying not to lose any health, or the least possible.
- As Fireman, you can walk through almost all fire.

Glitches
Some glitches are small, some are big, but these are all glitches I've found on my own, and a lot of people don't know about them. I spend a lot of time looking for this guide, so hope you enjoy them.
- As Fireman, you are capable of walking slighting into the paths of lightning. This is very neat.
- As Protoman, if a basic attack hits the very top of your shield, it will still hurt you. This happens a lot.
- Often, when more than three enemies are on the screen, the game will slow down a little bit, this is a great chance to avoid getting hit.
