About effing time. Granted, the guy's still going to find some way to have a public voice, but this is a rather satisfying blow to his credibility.

I've been hearing things about this guy over the years, but to walk out while the hearing was in progress?! *shakes head* Well, I'm not sure he realises that he may have just given the gaming community something they have dearly hoping for for many years. However, don't hold your breath on this one, crazy things can stll happen.

Well finally. He is an embarrassment to many things so now, he can't do anything and that's good for everyone.

Just want to point out that there actually hasn't been a ruling yet; while the result seems pretty obvious (especially with him storming out of the courtroom), like Mega Man.EXE said, don't hold your breath. The ruling can still be a surprise.

I don't think he really cares about his credibility anymore. He's so caught up in his self-justified campaign that in his mind he'll twist anything into some sort of insult or justification for his crusade.

Just because he's (likely) going to be dis-barred doesn't mean he's going to stop harassing people or cease being a nuisance. Considering a lot of his court cases ended poorly or with the clients getting someone else to represent them it's not really a sign for change.

Uh, yeah, as good as this might sound, this won't stop FOX NEWS from using him as a "first amendmentblargh" or "school shooting expert".

And it won't stop him from writing letters to moms.

X.

he pretty much hates video games. "They're too violent!" is his battlecry. he tried to get Manhunt 2 banned. GTA as well.

wow, haven't logged in for a few weeks and i finally do and read this news. COMCASTIC! J.T. being disbarred probably won't make a huge dent in his crusade against games, but it is still nice to hear. on another note, i saw a crapload of parents buying GTA IV for their kids ... is this dude even relevant anymore? /rhetorical, laff

Neither do I, and I'm already 14. (But that's not really saying something, considering some people here are already above 21...)

and not only that, but the Salem Witch Trials as well ... history [frequently] repeats itself. ignorance breeds fear and people like J.T. exploit it.

Everyone should know that people kill people. We don't even need weapons or tools to do it with either. Everything else is a tool. But, people don't know this.
And that's how we get things like this.
