I'm a night owl, so I don't really have much of a problem staying awake, but I hear that coffee helps. If this is a regular job, you'll eventually work your body into a routine, which will help you stay awake. Staying active helps too, since your body doesn't really feel the fatigue as much until you stop moving. And if none of that helps, perhaps you could try simply sleeping in the day beforehand? _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

I work out, take showers, splash my face with cold water, drink caffeinated drinks (not soft drinks), stretch occasionally when up late, or just force myself to stay awake. I'm used to it as I have so much work everyday. _________________ I'm bringing sassy back

It's not too difficult. Stay up well into the morning, then hit the sack when the sun's shining. It's not the healthiest way to do things, and you'll get dark rings around your eyes after a while, but if you keep it up for some time, your internal clock should be reset. Mileage varies - some people can pull it off in a night, others need a week or three to get on track.
I'd try avoiding stimulants, if I were you. They might help you stay up in the short term, but they will interfere with sleep after work, and that will make make you ever more dependent on them for performance's sake. That's actually one of the biggest reasons people start drinking coffee with enough regularity for caffeine addiction to set in.
20-minute power naps are, in some cases, more effective than caffeine. Just don't go over 20, or you'll get really groggy from falling into a deeper state of sleep. Those can help just before the job, or if you get a break, when you're on the job.
One last tip: spicy foods are a double-edged sword. If they're spicy enough, they'll jolt you awake alright, but the endorphins released by your brain subsequently might lull you into sleep. _________________ *placeholder* |

I stay up a lot because that's what I have to do when I wanna chat to my sweetheart who lives at the other side of the world XD
I am pretty good at staying awake, I usually draw, play videogames, listen to music, browse around on the net or watch something on tv to keep my mind busy. Most of the time, I do go to bed by 3 in the morning, specially since the birds are beginning to sing at that time (my cue to hit the sack) but I did make an allnighter once and stayed up till 8:30 in the morning ^v^;;; Didn't please mom at all... _________________

I don't stay up late as I used to, due to the fact I work Monday-Friday from 7am-3:30pm, so my sleep schedule is regulated to get me up and going every morning at 5:30am, except on the weekends I try to stay up a lil later, normally dont go to bed until Midnight.
However last night, I stayed up till 4AM, playing Metal Gear Solid on the PSone again, just to set me up for MGS4 on June 12.
However my greatest stay up moment, was I played and beat Metal Gear Solid 2 on the PS2 way way back around when it came out, and beat it on my first playthrough. We started at 5pm on a Wednesday night, and played up until 9:30am on a Thursday Morning when we finally beat it. Everything as far as food and stuff we had delivered to us. Pizza & Coke all night, me and my friend stayed up just to watch me beat it. Great 'effin times _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-
