|
|
Heya. Playing BN 2 right now and I am stuck on a certain point. I have to get a chip to give to a navi in exchange for information so I can advance the plot. Now the chip in question is a ZapRing2 B one. I've checked most chipshops on the net, but none sell it. So I have been going around in Netopia area, busting the viruses that occassionally drop this chip. But each time, it seems they only drop a certain few codes (like S and N) and not the one I need.
Is there another way to get this chip? Like, talking to someone somewhere? Or do I just have to be lucking while busting? _________________

That's not the only way--you can resort to probability and dump sets of chips in the trader in hopes of finding the one you need. Joy!
But really, who would want to leave story advancement to a random number generator? Looks like Dingo has your best course of action. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! If I recall, I believe that the Protoman navi chips were a massive help. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

I'd make a new topic but it's basically the same problem but with a different chip. I have gotten so close to getting all of the secret chips. Problem is, though, that everytime I battle and get a secret chip it's never the HeroSword. I've battled probably over 1000 times to get it. It is so annoying. Does the special MMBN1 trader give it out or does any of chip traders give it out? Or do I have to keep battling? _________________ ... Darkchips=Victory but at a cost... |

Not that I know of. The only natural way to obtain it is as you mentioned before.
Alternately, you could try to goad a generous benefactor to give you a copy of said chip. Assuming that this doesn't work, you're stuck. No way around it, sorry. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives!
