a producer [as well as rabid Megaman fan] named Eddie Lebron is making a MegaMan film. according to an interview, he is going to make it faithful to the original story and it is slated to release in winter of this year. here are the links:

What series is he doing?It'd be interesting how that pans out...Surprisingly,it's not in IMDB.I take it this is going the Indie Movie route?

yup, live action and indie. some of the Robot Masters will be CGI. i know he's doing the 8bit Megaman but im not sure which game [don't know if it was mentioned and i forgot it or what].

I think in the interview with Eddie Lebron states that he was going to use the original 6 (which is basically megaman 1)...you can check to confirm
