Summary:
Set fifteen years after Jaden's graduation, this story follows the high school life of Mikey Angel, a young beginner who's just starting his life at Duel Academy. New heroes! New stories! Same old card games! A collaboration with Comic Master Alpha.

General Information:
As some of you may have guessed, this is my latest long-running project (similar to Rockman.EXE: The College Years). This is actually a collaboration with a VERY good friend of mine. We planned this for almost a year and eventually turned it into a written reality.

Since the fanfic takes place fifteen years after the GX cast graduated, our cast is composed entirely of OCs.

The Cast

Mikey Angel:
Michael Angel (prefers to be called Mikey) is the fifteen-year-old protagonist of the series. CMA and I were looking at all the main characters of past and current Yu-Gi-Oh! series (Yugi Mutou, Jaden Yuki, & Yusei Fudo) and noticed that all of them start off being good at the game. As a result, we went for a different approach with Mikey. Instead of making him a pro off the bat, we started him off as just a beginner with nothing but an off-the-shelf starter deck. As the story progresses, he'll gradually improve.

Sammie Korangar:
Samantha "Sammie" Korangar is the female lead. She is Mikey's best friend since they were both little kids. One thing that only her closest friends know about is that she has two sides of her personality. At times, she appears as a sweet down-home girl with a bubbly personality. At other times, she's an incredibly violent girl who scares anyone near her. As an Obelisk Blue, she is a very skilled Duelist. She runs an End of the World deck with her most powerful cards being Demise, King of Armageddon and Ruin, Queen of Oblivion.

Max Harley:
Max is a VERY flamboyant redheaded boy who first appears as Mikey's roommate in Osiris Red. He is an aspiring actor with a love for comedy. When he duels, he always wears a ceramic half-mask decorated like the Mask of Comedy in drama. Max is by far the most flamboyant Yu-Gi-Oh! character since Maximillion Pegasus. His high voice, outgoing mannerisms, and flirtatious attitude have led some to believe that he is gay, although this is never truly ever confirmed. Max runs a clown control deck using cards such as Dream Clown and Crass Clown as well as cards that can change Battle Positions in order to activate their effects.

Coltyn Reproba:
Coltyn is the smartass know-it-all of the group. Whenever anyone has a question or when a card no one has ever seen is played, he almost always has the answer. For unknown reasons, he has a mechanical left arm which transforms into his Duel Disk. He's a very intellectual individual despite being in Ra Yellow. Coltyn runs a Fire deck that revolves around a burn strategy, his favorite combo being a Solar Flare Dragon wall.
