Ok, so normally I don't touch cheesy stuff, but I'm bored and kind of got sucked into reading EXE fics. Which ones are the best that you guys have seen? I'd like to read a few more. There's too many in the fic section to sift through and ff.net is the same way.
I've read a lot over the past couple of months, but the only one whose name is coming at me is the one I just finished, "What Matters." (Reading stories like this is not as much fun when they author won't likely get your message about enjoying it since it's a couple years old. ._.)
Also, it just feels weird to read "Lan" and "Megaman," so I'd prefer ones with the Japanese names. >_<;; I also am partial to the ones with the Saito side-story, as you can tell by my forum name. |

I used to read quite a bit into EXE fanfiction, but I've since moved onto other series mostly in my reading and my writing =/
But one to definantly stand out, is Muphrid's Rockman.EXE Echoes on FFN. I found this on a random look through FFN's Megaman section, and he's only recently finished it. |

Honestly, I don't actually think this is the best place to ask this question, as General would have been better.
(For the record, I'm of the same opinion as ElecGuts. I still have a certain...story to go back and finish, but I've since moved on.) _________________

I wasn't sure where to ask it. I think I read most if not all of Echoes. I'll go back and make sure I finished it. Any others? |

At some point, I'd like to add my own works of EXE to this list of well-mentioned fanfics, but I have to try really hard. The problem is character designing.
Anyway, those fics mentioned sound interesting. I might try them out when I'm free, since I'm the type to write and submit my own works than read anyone else's. _________________

One of my favorites has to be Rockman EXE : the College Years. Super long story [spans about 5 seasons], plenty of descriptions of battles and such, with tons of humor/drama/awesome. _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

I've been meaning to copy that fic down and replace all the names with the Japanese ones. I know it sounds wee-a-boo-ish, but I feel even more weird reading cheesy fics when I see "Lan" and "Megaman." Those translations are awful... |

Well, I think I've kinda out grown fanfiction, as I've gotten tired of sifting through mountains of garbage to find the hidden gems, but I think my favorite EXE one that I've read was called...I think it was Hikari Enzan. It was pretty lengthy and well-written, and fairly interesting. I think it's even on the main site. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

Hikari Enzan is pretty good. Pretty much everything on Kishuku is awesome.
@Saito-kun : I saved every chapter as an mht file and organized it a while back. Whole folder is about 50MB. _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

And it's all text? Wow.
Hikari Enzan... sounds like some sort of weird story where characters are completely out of place. :\
EDIT: Yah, found it, not interested. |

Uh, not to be a downer or anything, but...it's not necessarily a good idea to be pimping your own works in a rec thread. It usually makes a lot of people less inclined to actually read it, in my opinion. =/
Just be careful of what you recommend. _________________

Well Saito-kun, I don't mean to make this sound like a shameless plug, but I recommend my story My Loneliness. It's a look at Shun's life from the day his parents died all the way up to the formation of Gospel. It looks into the torment and turmoil Shun had to suffer during those painful five years.
If you want to read more fics about Shun, feel free to check out my C2 community. Tormented Child. Every single story there is either about Shun or has Shun playing a major role in it.
Another story I recommend is Brother Dearest by MilesTailsPrower-007. It's one of those "What if Saito had lived" fics. However, the story is written so well it's as if the author was chronicling his own real life experiences. And to me, if it feels like a story has been written based on the author's real life experiences, that makes it more relatable and adds a touch of realism to the story and thus it makes it a well-written piece of fiction.
I also recommend Driving Lessons and The Dangers of One Way Streets written by our very own Neko. Once again, there's the whole realism and personal experiences thing in there. And also if you're up for some humor. _________________
