Inazuma Eleven is a soccer video game on the DS by Level 5, AKA the guys who do the Layton series.

...I... haven't played it, but I've been wanting to. All the pretty fanart I find and the crazy moves tell me so. It doesn't seem to have a US release date yet.

There's an anime out right now. I'm not sure how well it follows the game plot, but then again the plot is just a KICK DEM BUTTS plot as far as I can really tell. There's also a manga, but it just started last year in Coro Coro, so the plot's just kicking up in that.

So far my favorite characters are Kazemaru, for the obvious reasons, and Kido.

ETA: Augh, Level 5, not Factor Five. Apparently I'm still looking forward to watching that rumored Kid Icarus fail.
