Does Jazwares intend to hold the license for MM forever?

Does Jazwares intend to hold the license for MegaMan forever, or are they going to actually let someone who would release figures for the series have a go at it? They have not done a single MM figure since 2005 when they abruptly canned the series, leaving us with just pictures of their countless prototypes (especially the RetroRoto series). Playing through the MMZero games again has sparked my interest in MM once more after three years of being sick of the series, and now, I crave some new figures, especially from the Zero series.
