Hey folks.
I have a friend on dA who needs a bit of help. He recently started to play Battle Network 4 again on his fourth play through, but he's ran into a problem with ColdMan:

Because I squandered all those chips beforehand, I have nothing to give! Sure, there's a few that I could still find somewhere, like Blackbomb, but this is on super hard mode, and you can't get chips like Heatshot 1 anymore, because THOSE viruses have been replaced by tougher versions, whose chips won't count! ARRRRGGGHHHHHH.
So, with all that, it seems I've reached a chokepoint in the game where I have no choice but to start over... and erase my four continues. All those chips... The piledriver program advance... The fully upgraded Megabuster.... Chips like Supervulcan and Asteroid and GunsolEX... I don't know what to do. I'm already going crazy over this game, and now I have to PLAY THE WHOLE DAMN THING AGAIN, WHEN I'VE REACHED THE SECOND TO LAST STAGE?????? I could just leave it the way it is and keep all the chips I've obtained over the years and can't be bothered to collect all over again... But that's like a sort of purgatory, never being able to progress any further. Sigh.... I should never had started that fourth continue.

Any suggestions on how to help him? Or does he need to start over? |
