10/9/2004 :: Hurrah, I have my summary of Rockman.exe Stream, Episode 2, for you peoples. n.n; (( Enjoy ))
10/8/2004 :: Many may or may not know, but in order to keep this site alive, I have to run 4 seperate server domains. This is because of the heavy traffic I receive, and the numerous amount of files being hosted here. (We now receive approximately 3,000 hits a day). It's become very expensive to keep things going, adding up to roughly over $50 a month. I do have other responsibilities in life I need to pay for, such as uh...gas, and food to be exact.
And so, I have decided to put up a few of my very rare Production Sketches up on ebay for auction. The auction will last for 7 days, with a very low starting bid of $9.99 (which is far less than what I paid for my batch). Please help me from starving to death. n.n; I hope these sketches go to a very good home.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5926189940
To the winner of the auction, if you do not have a scanner, I can provide you un-watermarked scans if you wish. I can also give you screencaps of every sketch featured in this auction (there are 14 in total). Good luck to all, and thank you. n.n;
10/7/2004 :: The character bios for Axess have now been completed, finishing up with the rest of the bad guys. Hooray! All char bios are now up to date...for the time being. I also updated my fanart gallery with some new works that I've done as of late. Guest fanart and fanfiction updates are coming soon. Meanwhile, please be aware that the Stream media is currently offline. My server is crying at me "no more!" n.n;
10/5/2004 :: If anyone had any doubts about the KidsWB's new "30 episode lineup" for next Spring not being Axess, well, put those to rest. Megaman NT Warrior: Axess, as it has been officially dubbed, will begin airing in Spring 2005. KidsWB and ShoPro claim this will bring their total of dubbed episodes to 80, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Only 40 episodes of NT Warrior were aired on TV, and with the 30 from Axess, only brings our total to 70.
Nevertheless, with the confirmation that these new 30 episodes are indeed from Axess, we can only wonder what has happened to the 21 episodes that were not licensed. As most fans know, Axess is far more violent and serious than the first season of EXE, making it far more difficult to air on children's TV unaltered.
Meanwhile, as of this week, KidsWB is now airing one forgotten episode from Season 2 every Friday, for a total of 10 new episodes. Obviously the network doesn't consider plotline continuiety very important, as they have constantly been showing the series completely out of order since it came back to the airwaves last spring.
Also, beginning on October 11th, KidsWB will be having another of their silly contests that discludes anyone over the age of 12. But if you are of this younger age group, they will be giving away 500 Advanced PETs, and 1,000 ten inch figures. The theme of this contest is to "guess the battlechip", even though the rules state you don't even need the correct answer to win. So whatever.
You might have noticed above, that I said ShoPro, not 4Kids. Yes folks, it's still ShoPro. Whoever started that 4kids rumor *eyes AnimeSuki* obviously was misinformed.

10/4/2004 :: Squee! For those of you who want to start learning the words to the opening and endings of Stream, we now have the Japanese lyrics thanks to Izumi. The staff of #WPP is hard at work in writing the translations, which will follow soon as well. Also, screencaps from the opening, ending, and episode 1 are now up. Last but not least, the good guy character bios for Axess are now completed. I'll work on the bad guys sometime this week.
10/3/2004 :: Didn't get as much done as I would have liked to, but quite a few things are "in progress". It should be all up by tomorrow night (cause zomg I don't have to go to work >.<). Anyways, here's my summary for Stream #1 found (( here )) to tie you all over. *passes out*
10/2/2004 :: As most have probably already noticed, we now have the videos and mp3s of the new opening and endings of Stream available. :) I am now encoding all of my clips in XviD, due to much better quality, so if you don't have that codec then head on over to www.xvid.org.
Though I tried, the summary will not be ready until tomorrow. I'll also have some lyrics to put up (thanks to Izumi-chan! *huggles*), as well as some new updated seiyuu information. It should be noted that Hikari Yuuichirou has lost his original seiyuu from the previous two seasons, and has been replaced by Kawashima Tokuyoshi. This is quite sad news indeed, Yuuichirou's previous seiyuu, Kouchi Nagano, will surely be missed as the series continues on. Reasons as to why the seiyuus have been switched remains unclear. Thankfully enough, everyone else has remained the same (so far).
Last but not least, if you have been badgering #l33t-raws to release Stream on bit-torrent, QUIT IT. Yes, they have it. No, they will not release it until everyone stops BUGGING them about it. Let the poor people do their jobs. That is all.
10/2/2004 :: Waking up bright and early, I now have the first episode of Rockman.exe Stream currently downloading. Unfortunately, I have to go to work in less than an hour, so I won't be able to post updates right away. I will be returning home around 3pm, in which I will then post the new opening and endings in the media section for all to see. :) A full length summary will also be following tonight. So stay tuned!
In the meantime, Heat Man sent along a nice overview of the series, which was released by ShoPro's new Stream website very recentely.
Duo's Trial
In order to correct the evolution which the network mistook, Duo intended to drop a bomb 30 years before the cyber world was born, and erase the past. Thusly the world would lose its past and the present as it was would not occur. In order to prevent this, it is necessary to assemble partners from all over the world who carry a piece of the "Crest of Duo." Netto and Rockman are chosen to find the people carrying the Crust of Duo, and although they do not know where to look, they search the world. It becomes a journey which sometimes goes beyond time and space.
The power given by Slur - Asteroid
Meanwhile, there is Slur who is around in order to stimulate the wrong in mankind; presenting them with the Asteroid he trials the humans. With the Asteroid is a Navi with far greater power than any typical Navi. Their power can not only be exerted in the cyberworld but the real world as well, as the Navis can substantiate without need of a dimensional area. Those who were given the Asteroid ban together forming a new crime organization known as "Neo World Three." They begin to illegally sell Dark Chips, as well as commit various criminal acts which cause fear and confusion. Being Net Saviors, Netto and Rockman will fight them back.
9/28/2004 :: Screencaps for Episode #51 of Axess are now up (actually they went up last night. :P I forgot tup upload the updates page. *sweatdrop*) Also, all of the short episode summaries for Axess have now been revised, and have screencaps to accompany them. Yay hey.
BTW, so I don't get any more e-mails about this, YES I know character bios are missing. Yes, I am working on them. Also, please remember that only the first half of Season 1 and Axess in the screencaps section is functional. Part 2 of Season 1 and all of Season 2 is still under construction. There's only so many hours in the day to get so much done, and between college and my job at Hallmark that time is very limited. Thank you for your patience.
9/26/2004 :: The good folks over at #WolfPackProductions have put out a call to absolutely anyone who would be willing to help translate Axess. This group has dedicated themselves to bringing Rockman fans everywhere an unedited and subtitled version, even when the series got liscensed, which you should realize most fansub groups wouldn't even bother to do. So help pay back the favor, and lend a hand!
9/25/2004 :: And so, Rockman.exe Axess has finally concluded. :) And what a finale it was! You can now read the full length summary, which can be found (( here )) At the tail end of the episode, a trailer for Rockman.exe Stream was also included. Head on over to Planet Mega Man for more information. :)
9/24/2004 :: I apologize for the delay of Axess 50 this week, a certain reploid with a color changing scarf decided to suck up all my attention since Tuesday. *cough*CommandMission*cough* Anyways, you can now find the summary (( here )) Right up to follow are the screencaps, which you can find (( here )) Enjoy and stchuff! Tomorrow, for the first time in what seems like forever, I actually do NOT have to go to work on a Saturday. So I should have no problem in getting the Axess 51 summary up right away. :) Mmn, finale...
Last but probably most important, today is our -official- date of Anniversary! Two whole years, huh? It's funny that when I started this site I had only seen up to Episode 15 of EXE. XD Things started out so small, and grew so very quickly. Thank you all so much, you guys are absolutely amazing! As promised, this month's Tri-Monthly Contest has been announced. :) Go check it out, and good luck!
9/23/2004 :: It appears our worst fears may have finally been confirmed: KidsWB has ordered 30 new episodes of "Megaman NT Warrior", which will begin airing next spring. You would think this might mean they would be just airing the episodes they skipped, but it also mentions that they will be re-airing the first two seasons alongside this, so that counts that possibility pretty much out. You can read all about it (( here )) Seeing that Axess is 51 episodes, that would mean that they plan to cut out a total of 21 episodes from the lineup. Such a dissaster indeed....
9/22/2004 :: TV Tokyo finally put up a page for Rockman.exe Stream, though there isn't much content yet other than a brief summary of the storyline. You can find it (( here ))
I am working hard on the Axess 50 summary and screencaps, and should hopefully be done by tonight or tomorrow afternoon. (school and work this week is keeping me occupied, as I have a photography project due tomorrow). The contest will also be announced on the site's actuall anniversary, the 24th. :)
9/20/2004 :: I decided to take the weekend off and away from sitework, to do something I haven't done in awhile. Make an AMV.
../kishuku/forum/viewtopic.php>
In the meantime, you might have noticed the front page has changed a bit. :) Special thanks to Tabby for drawing this years Anniversary artsy! *big hugs!* Yes, Rockman.exe Online was opened exactly two years ago this week. ^_^ (The 24th, to be exact) Here's my gratitude gift to all of you!
This month's Tri-Monthly contest will be announced soon, so keep an eye out! And yes, I will get the Axess 50 summary and screencaps up soon. I haven't even watched the dang thing yet. :P
9/16/2004 :: According to Xebec's website (company who produces the anime), Stream will have the same production staff and voice actors that was used for Axess. All except for one role, the Art Director. Hachidai Takayama has been replaced by Kuniko Miyake, who doesn't seem to have any previous anime experience. We can only wait and see if this has any kind of impact on the way the new series is presented.
Speaking of Stream, the short episode summaries for Episodes 1 - 3 are now available. Special thanks to Heat Man for his translations. :) Also, the summaries for Episodes 1 - 49 of Axess have all been revised, and now have screencaps to accompany them. :)
9/15/2004 :: The short episode summary for Axess Episode #51 is now up, thanks to Heat Man. Looks like it's gonna be an interesting finale.
Also, Rockman.exe Online got published for the very first time! In the July 2004 issue of the Chinese version of Coro Coro, our url was mentioned underneath a screencap from the subtitled opening of Rockman.exe. Special thanks to Malik-chan for finding this. :) ShadowZero was kind enough to provide a translation:
../misc/corocoro_reo.jpg
"In Japan, they are currently showing Rockman EXE Axess. This month, Taiwan will start to have EXE. The picture above is from Rockman EXE's English site. There is a lot of information about Rockman on it. You can also download EXE's OP and ED there. The videos are set up like Karaoke, so you can sing with it too!"
No wonder my bandwidth got slaughtered last month. XD
9/14/2004 :: Updates will be moving along rather quickly, as I attempt to get the site ready for the premiere of Rockman.exe Stream. First up, the seiyuu for Enzan's father, Shuuseki Ijuin, is now up in its respective section. Also, thanks to Heat Man, we have the summary for Episode 50 of Axess, which can be found in the summaries section.
We also now have the first two episode titles for Stream, thanks to finding the scripts in an auction. Some new info on Stream is beginning to trickle out, thanks to the recent issue of Coro Coro that just came out this month. Besides confirming the existance of the new anime, we see that Cross Fusion has been given a little makeover. :) ((- See for yourself -))
Another hint leads us to believe that a possible Rockman.exe movie will be released in March of next year. However, don't get too excited quite yet. It also mentions it will be a double-feature with another anime, Duel Masters. Apparantly this is quite common over in Japan, in which two short movies are shown together. The ad mentions that EXE characters to be included will be Cross Fusion, Beastman, Needleman, Colonel and Forte. We'll keep you updated if any further info is released about this.
../misc/movie.jpg
Last but not least, the Style Changes section is back up to date as far as Axess is concerned. Beware of falling spoilers. :) That's all for today, folks! Special thanks to HeatMan and Dark Napalm from Planet Mega Man for the new info. :)
9/13/2004 :: Some new lyrics have been added, making that section up to date once again (until Stream airs, anyways). The translation for "Begin the TRY" has finally been added, I didn't realize it never had one. o_o; Whoops. Also, the lyrics and translation for the Korean opening of Rockman.exe has been added. If -anyone- has either a mp3 or movie file of this, I would really appreciate it. Last of all, the lyrics for the German version of the NT Warrior opening have been added, and there's an actual movie clip of this in the NT Warrior clips section. (For some odd reason their opening actually has words O_o)
On a non-EXE related note, I found some spiffy new X series toys at Toys R Us this afternoon. I came across these while on my neverending hunt to find that damned Forte.exe figure. >.<; Anyways, take a look. They're so cuuuute! *huggles teh Axl*

http://www.kawarimi.com/rockman/merchandise/mini_x_figures2.jpg
9/12/2004 :: Screencaps from Episode #49 of Axess are now up, all 100 of them. <3 Also of note, I've added some new fanfictions. :) For those of you who sent me fics, and they are not up, please re-submit. My e-mail box keeps getting wiped out. >_>;
9/11/2004 :: The summary for Episode #49 of Axess can be found (( here )) This one was very enjoyable to write, most definately. This by far is my most beloved episode of EXE ever. <3
9/11/2004 :: Rockman.exe Stream, the newest continuation of the anime, will begin airing on Japanese TV this October 2nd. It's time slot will remain the same, with another Capcom game favourite making it's debut an hour later, Viewtiful Joe. Sigh. A whole one week break for me to get caught up on...everything. >_O; *twitches*
9/8/2004 :: The summary for Episode #48 of Axess can be found (( here )) Screencaps for #47 will be going up tomorrow, with Episode #48 screencaps following on Friday.
9/6/2004 :: My dear friend Tabby, bless her heart, has set up a donation page for this site. For further information as to WHY I am in desperate need of donations, please visit the following link:
http://www.wolfeclipse.com/starnine/donations/donations.html
This was set up on her own doing, and I can't even begin to say how grateful I am, and how touched. The hosting costs for this site jumped up dramatically this summer, due to the installation of the new server, and upgrading the other two. With all these fees, I cannot afford to replace my video camera. And so, Tabby went and did this for me and for the site. *hugs!*
In update news, I will have the summary for Episode 48 of Axess as soon as possible. The screencaps for both Episodes 47 and 48 are also almost ready to go. Thank you for your patience.
9/4/2004 :: The reason for lack of updates today was because I attended this year's AnimeFEST convention in Dallas, Texas. :) It's my last con of the year. *sniff* However, it sure did end with a bang. :) I decided to enter my second music video ('Bring Me To Life') to the AMV (Anime Music Video) contest, and here's the results. ^_^
../kishuku/misc/animefest_trophy2.jpg
Needless to say, I am very excited. :) Yay for spreading the fandom. XD I won for 'Best Action Video' (the other two catagories were Drama and Comedy). Thank you so very much to those who helped me with this video, I appreciate it so much. :) Yatta!
9/2/2004 :: Couple of interesting news tidbits tonight. :) The script for Episode #51 of Axess popped up tonight in the japanse auctions, which is suppossed to be the final episode. The title, which was translated by Izumi, is "Hikari Todoko Basho", which means "Place Where Light Reaches". This is very simular to the title of the ending theme song, which is sung by Netto and Rockman.
Secondly, ToyWiz is taking pre-orders for the new line of NT Warrior figures, which center on the Cross Fusions and Soul Unisons. Better get em now before they get popular and they raise their prices. :) *cough*ripoff*cough*
9/2/2004 :: Just a small notice, for some odd reason my cpanel is having hiccups at the moment, meaning I can't monitor my bandwidth. So just to be safe, I have locked down the music & videos until I gain access again. For future notice, if you try to download a file, and it asks for a password, that means my bandwidth has been reached for the day. Running these servers is very expensive, I do not wish to be hit with overusage fees. Thanks for understanding. :)
9/1/2004 :: Much thanks to Heat Man, I am once again caught up on seiyuus for the newest characters from Axess. Seiyuu information for Swordman (Red, Yellow & Blue), Ran, Windman, Shiningman, Whaleman, Allegro, Tensuke, Topman, Kousuke, and Mistman are now available!
Also, I realize the site has been down for a few weeks, but please be very selective about what your download. This applies to the music/movies and screencaps especially. There is going to be a lot of traffic for this first week of re-opening, so I would appreciate it if everyone would only download what they absolutely need. I give you my thanks in advance.
Also, to all you impatient people out there, quit typing in the url for the Episode 48 screencaps of Axess. :P The fruggin episode hasn't even AIRED yet, how do you expect me to have screencaps? Yes, I can tell when you people try odd and strange things. So stop it. :P
9/1/2004 :: Welcome back home, everyone! We're finally back up and running smoothly again, much thanks to a new server that was installed during the downtime. Hopefully this will help the site run much better in the future. During the break, I still worked daily on updating the site, and keeping things up to date. Here's a list of what is new:
-- Episode summaries have been tweaked to reflect what dates they were aired in the US, as well as if they were skipped entirely or only shown in Canada.
-- Screencraps for episodes 44, 45 and 46 of Axess have been put up. Episode 47 is not ready yet.
-- The screencaps section entirely has been revamped. Seasons 1 and 2 are being redone: one page per episode. All of Axess is working, and 1 - 17 of Season 1 is available. This is all currently under construction.
-- New Affiliate! I'd like to welcome Pet-World to our list.
-- The brand new "coming soon" section that I have been working on all summer has been finished! I'd like to debut this site-exclusive feature, "Production Art". Now you can have an inside look at what the series looks like before it goes on TV!
-updates during the downtime-
[8/29/2004] Wow, I actually managed to get something done on time. Who knew? The summary for Episode #47 of Axess can be found (( here )) Meanwhile, everything is progressing very smoothly for the site re-opening on the 1st. Don't expect any delays. :)
[8/26/2004] The summary for Episode #46 of Axess has been completed, you can find it (( here )) Sorry for the delay, classes started again this week, and it was a bit bumpy. Things should be better now, though. Hopefully. >_<
[8/26/2004] Well now, isn't this a surprise! It seems Rockman.exe may be continuing with a brand new season once Axess completes at Episode 51 (it's slated run-time). As Hobby Link Japan is calling it, "Rockman.exe Stream" mayhaps be the new series to debut. No official air date has been set as of yet, but we may learn more once the next issue of CoroCoro is released. Keep your eyes peeled, this is very good news indeed. :)
Not only that, but new PETs are on the way (yes, yet again). They've been dubbed "Progress PETs", and are for sale on pre-order at Hobby Link Japan. Other new toy items coming up include new model figures of Rockman and Blues, entitled "DX Rockman" and "DX Blues". What this means we can only guess. I'll update again if any more info is released.
[8/25/2004] There have been several rumors going around on the possibility that Axess may have been licensed. As of this time, there has been no official announcement that Axess has indeed been licensed. Yes, Teletoon in Canada is advertising a "new" season of NT Warrior to begin in November, but there has been no solid proof that this is Axess. So until ShoPro themselves announce it, or we see actual TV commercials with Axess footage, this series still remains up for grabs.
[8/24/2004] Progress on rebuilding the site with the new server installed is going very well. In the meantime, Josuke did a very nice summary of Axess episode #45, which can be found (( here )) My summary for Episode #46 should be ready by tomorrow. Screencaps are still being done, but because they are on the new server, which does not have hotlinking protection enable yet, will not be available until the site returns on the 1st of September.
[8/12/2004] If you missed the summary for Axess episode #44, you can still find it (( here )) Even though the site is currently down, I will continue to do these summaries every week. :)
8/10/2004 :: Sorry for the delay, a few real life issues got in the way. Anyways, the summary for Axess #44 is ready. You can find it right here, beware of spoilers, as usual. Screencaps will be following soon.
8/8/2004 :: A new community function has been added to the site tonight, much thanks to the silent admin Nobi-chan. ^_^ We now have our very own Oekaki Board! (Online Drawing) Check out the fanart section to find the link to it. Axess summary and such will be up tomorrow (ie: I don't have to go to work).
8/6/2004 :: Episodes summaries for Axess episodes #45 - 49 are now available, thanks to Heat Man and his translations. Screencaps from Axess episode #43 are also now available.
8/4/2004 :: Everything -should- now be up to date and back to normal. If anyone finds a broken link or something out of date, please let me know asap. I will try and get some actual sitework done later tonight. Thanks, everyone.
8/4/2004 :: As you all probably noticed, rockman-exe.com was unavailable yesterday. Unfortunately it was more than a tiny server glitch. It was either a MAJOR server glitch, or someone hacked my account. Either way, rockman-exe.com was completely deleted.
A restoration from May 3 was installed by my hoster, which is why the site is back, but everything is very out of date. Please bear with me as I try my best to get all sections of the site back to the way they were.
I will update as best I can during this time, and to let everyone know how the progress is going. Thanks for your patience. If anyone sent me an e-mails yesterday, please resend, as I lost all mail.
-Ryouko
8/3/2004 :: I am back home once again from Otakon 2004. ^_^ Everyone had such a wonderful time, and it was so great meeting up with you guys again, or seeing you for the first time! It's always such a treat to meet everyone that I know from these communities in person.
Of course I have many fun stories to tell, videos to share, and pictures on the side. For now though, only the pictures are ready (my video camera is currently experiencing technical difficulties and may need to be repaired).
../../ota2004.html
Site update wise, Josuke has already made a wonderful summary of this week's episode of Axess #43, entitled "Top and Grandson". You can find it by clicking here. I have yet to actually watch the episode. ^_^; However the screencaps will be up very soon.
As I exit out to go do some actual sitework, I just want to extend a very, very special thank you to those that came up to me during the con, and gave me thanks for the work I put into this site. You have no idea how much I appreciated you at that moment, and still do. Thanks so much you guys. :) See you all next year!
7/29/2004 :: Welp, I leave for the airport in about an hour, and thus I shall begin my adventure at Otakon 2004 (Go OtaRockman!). I shall be returning Sunday night with many entertaining pictures and fun-filled stories. :) So until then, everyone have a good weekend!
7/26/2004 :: The summary for Axess #42 can be found right here. Beware of falling spoilers. Also, screencaps from this same episode are now available in its respective section.
The reason for the lack of updated video clips as of late is because the clips that are currently up are contineously re-downloaded over and over again by visitors. Please, only download the clips you absolutely need, and only do it once. The WindSoul clip alone has been downloaded over 1,000 times this month. Less bandwidth usage = more goodies for people to download.
7/24/2004 :: All of my artwork is finally ready for the Otakon Art Show. Phew. O_o; In the meantime, Mega Man Network posted some very interesting news that arrived at the San Diego Comic Con. Mattel has released the first glimpse of their second line of NT Warrior figures. Among those.....are Cross Fusion and Soul Unisons.
It would appear that Japan is not the only place receiving new figures based off of Rockman.exe Axess. Included will be movable figures of Rockman and Blues Cross Fusion, new mini standee figures of all the Soul Unisons, and "snap-on" armor larger figures of the Soul Unisons (which look rather blocky, unfortunately).
You can check out photographs from Mattel's display right here.
With the release of Axess figures, one would think that the anime series has been picked up by a liscenser. However, there is no word as of yet on the series' fate. We can only pray that if it DOES get picked up, it will not suffer the same demise as the previous series, Rockman.exe.
7/20/2004 :: Screencaps for Episode 41 of Axess are now up. :) Enjoy!
7/19/2004 :: A very nice fanart for everyone today. :) I'd like to welcome new artists Life Virus, HeatherBunny, Tidus-chan, kRzYmOnKeYbOi, and Crimson-chan! Also, regular members Suraida-chan, Cool Fire Bird, Paper Ace Chase, Kat, Tabby, Zhentarim X, Red, and Silver have all had their galleries updated with new work. ^_^ Last but not least, I would like to extend a very special thanks to Eriance and RubyChan for their gorgeous gift arts. ^_^ Thank you so much, everyone! Keep em coming!
7/18/2004 :: The summary for Axess Episode #41 is completed. Click here to read away. Beware, spoilers within. I have three days off in a row this week, so hopefully I can get some major sitework done. Hoping.
7/14/2004 :: The screencaps for Episode 40 of Axess are now available. :) With Otakon only 2 weeks away, I've begun the mad crunch in trying to get everything done in time for the con of the year. O_o; Busy busy busy...
7/11/2004 :: The summary for Axess Episode #40 is completed. Click here to read away. Beware, spoilers within. I can't wait to screencap this one. <3 Laika!
7/10/2004 :: Am still not feeling very well, and I keep getting called into work. To make up for it though, I got let off from my shift after only an hour this morning, giving me the rest of the weekend off. And so, things should get back up to speed. I will be writing the summary for Axess #40 either today or tomorrow, while finishing the new section as well. This week's Axess has lots of Laika and Searchman. <3 Most shocking that came from this episode however, is the appearance of this character during the preview for Episode 41. O_o;; Oh my...
With about 10 episodes to go, the series should be counting down to its finale. (The official DVDs of Axess have announced the series to continue for a full run of 51 episodes). There's a lot to conclude plot-line wise. It'll be interesting to see how it all wraps up, especially with the character mentioned above appearing all of a sudden. :)
7/8/2004 :: Screencaps for episodes 38 and 39 of Axess are now available. I'm going to crack down on finsihing the new section during today and tomorrow, so that hopefully it will be ready to go up Friday night. See ya'll then. :)
7/6/2004 :: The summary for Axess Episode #39 is completed. Click here to read to your hearts content. Beware, spoilers within.
7/5/2004 :: Unfortunately I am running a little behind. I seem to be coming down with a cold, and I ended up spending most of yesterday with friends for 4th of July festivities. ^_^; (Yay fireworks!) I will work on getting caught up with week with sitework when I am not at work.
In merchandise related news, a huge sudden outburst of the once thought discontinued Rockman.exe Style Change figures has occurred on Ebay. If you do a search for "Rockman EXE", you'll find a whole ton of them. So if you've been having trouble in finding them before, now is your chance. What is even more strange however, is the appearance of individually packaged figures of Blues and Forte. O_o Never before have I seen these figures not sold in a two-piece set.
In any case, I bought a Forte one to check it out for myself. I own the Blues vs Forte set already, so I can compare the two Forte's to each other. If these newly released figures are bootlegs, it should be pretty easy to tell by quality. I'll update again when I have more information.
7/3/2004 :: Gotta love weekends....all work and no play. However I do have tomorrow off, so I will be writing up the summary for today's Axess episode then and get it posted (WoodSoul is cuuute! XD), along with the screencaps for last week's episode. The new 'coming soon' section is also almost ready for unveling, as I've been working on it all week. For now though, I put up a couple new fanart oekakis in my gallery. :) *yawns* Oyasumi~nya. x_o;
7/1/2004 :: As promised, the winner of the 6th Tri-Monthly Contest has been announced! Please visit the Contest page for details. ^_^ Congrats to the winner, and thanks to all who entered!
7/1/2004 :: Reports are starting to flow in from all over the US and Canada that the Megaman NT Warrior figures by Mattel are starting to arrive in stores. True enough, I got ahold of the 'MegaMan' one myself today, and I am happy to report: they do not suck!
In fact, they're pretty well made and have pretty good (and accurate) detail. In contrast with the latest Rockman Battle Plaction model, the NT Warrior version is taller, and does not fall apart. Like the japanese model, it also fires a projectile from the optional buster. So if you can't afford the Battle Plaction model, or just can't find it, the NT Warrior one is a fine substitute.
../merchandise/ntwarrior/box_front.jpg
../merchandise/ntwarrior/box_back.jpg
As the back of the box shows, there are six total different figures for the 5 inch line. Megaman, Heatguts Megaman, Protoman, Magnetman (wtf?), Gutsman, and my all time favourite: Bass.
../merchandise/ntwarrior/megaman1.jpg
../merchandise/ntwarrior/megaman2.jpg
The Megaman figure comes with 3 optional attachments for his right arm: WideSword, Buster, or his original hand. The buster fires a "plasma shot" projectile, which works pretty well. The sword is nice and detailed, and amusingly sharp looking, as opposed to it's "glowified" version in the dubbed anime.
../merchandise/ntwarrior/megaman3.jpg
I lined up 3 different version of the Megaman/Rockman figures, from back to front: NT Warrior Megaman, Battle Plaction Rockman, Rockin' Box Rockman. As you can see, each one is a little different in its own way. ^_^;
One of the biggest questions that fans have been asking is if the new english Battle Chips will work in the Japanese Advanced PETs. I'm happy to report that they certaintly do. :) While demo images of the figures showed the Battle Chips with Japanese writing, the final product has the writing in English. As can be seen in the very first photo, Megaman comes with the 'HiCannon' chip. Whether or not the Japanese Battle Chips will work in the new English PETs is still yet to be determined.
And so, there you have it! I'm looking forward to the giganto versions of Megaman and Protoman becoming available as well. Look forward to a review of those as well as soon as I get ahold of either one. :) Reports are claiming that the figures are selling out at stores rather quickly, so if you spot them, be sure to pick up your favourites!
6/30/2004 :: Do you like to Net Battle? Are you going to Otakon 2004 in Baltimore, Maryland? If so, then be sure to enter the very first Otakon Megaman Battle Network 3 Tournament! This unofficial Tournament is being hosted by the gracious Terra of Stardroids.net, and will be offering some very nice prizes, along with awsome trophie awards! Keep an eye on her page for a rather big update on the tournament within the next few days. Hope to see you all there, and bring it on!, cause I'm entering too!
6/29/2004 :: The cover for the Vol. 1 of the Megaman NT Warrior DVD has been found. This will be going on sale later in the summer, on August 24th. Interestingly enough, the DVD states "Includes one bonus episode! Only available on DVD." This may be a good sign to the fact that episodes that were previously skipped during tv broadcasting, may be included in the DVD release. I surely hope so!
6/28/2004 :: Just before Planet Mega Man went down due to bandwidth issues, they had posted a news update regarding a new line of toys for Rockman.exe Axess!
Many fan's prayers have been answered, as Cross Fusion figures will FINALLY be made. Not only that, but they will be a whopping 20cm tall! Unfortunately the figures will not be able to move, however this means that the capability in the amount of detail will be very high (meaning some very kickass model figures!). Two of the 38 figures to be released are shown below, which feature two poses of Netto/Rockman Cross Fusion.
http://www.able-corp.com/rockman_a.htm
Next up is a variety of 54 various character figures on mini platforms. These will be featuring the main characters, as well as the Soul Unisons. The figures stand at 12 cm tall, and like the ones above, are for display purposes only.
http://www.able-corp.com/rockman_c.htm
Last but not least, for keychain freaks like me, we have paired-figure keychains! A whole 100 of different characters will featured. These are 7cm tall.
http://www.able-corp.com/rockman_b.htm
So start making room on those shelves, because you won't want to miss out on these awsome new toys. ^_^ As we have seen in the past, Rockman toys tend to sell out very quickly, and do not remain in production for very long. So don't be lazy in getting your favourite ones!
6/27/2004 :: Due to not feeling very well, and having to work way too much this week, I am going to refer to Josuke's Axess #38 summary for everyone to read. Since the episode was a filler, there's not much to miss plot wise. A new clip is up in the Soul Unisons section for everyone to enjoy. I will return to writing the summaries again next week.
6/25/2004 :: Ah....finally a day off. I can finally relax. O_o; Some fun new updates today! Yay hey and a bottle of ramune.
-New fanart by me (Enzan Oekaki)
-Bubbleman bio updated
-New Axess summaries - Episodes 40 - 44 (Thanks to Heat Man!)
-Credit / Staff page has been updated with a two new donators. :) Thank you so much, UltraMagnus.exe and Geoff Mendicino!
-DeepBlade's comic "Steal Your Chip!" has been updated with Chapters 61 and 62
-Axess Episode #37 Screencaps
I split up the episode listings of Axess into Part 1 and Part 2. Since there is no official Season break like there was in the original EXE series, I decided to break it off where the plot made it's most dramatic turn. In this case, it's when the new henchmen of the bad guys took over, as well as major changes were done to the main characters. Again, this is unofficial, so please do not go around calling the Axess episodes Season 1 and Season 2 or some wierd stuff like that. O_o This was only done to make website browsing much easier.
6/23/2004 :: Updates will remain on hold until either Friday or Saturday. We are remodling the Hallmark store I work at this week, which means I'm stuck there from 8am till 6pm until we finish. Therefor by the time I get home, I'm utterly braindead and very tired. And so, instead of forcing myself to come up with a suitable update, I am going to go to sleep. :P Ah, sleeep...
6/21/2004 :: A day late, but it's finally done. The summary for Axess Episode #37 is completed. Click here to read to your hearts content. Beware, spoilers within.
6/19/2004 :: #WolfPackProductions has begun re-releasing all of their older fansubs in batch torrents, so fans may have another chance of catching up on episodes they missed. Their first batch release which occured today, is episodes 1 - 3 of Rockman.exe! So if you're dying to see the old series in its uncut and subtitled format, head on over there. :) And please remember to leave your bit-torrent download window open as long as possible after you have finished downloading! You download from other people, it's only fair to let others download from you in return.
With that said, the Axess 37 summary will be up tomorrow. It was a very....odd episode indeed. Good for Raoul fans, painful for the Enzan fans. Poor, poor Enzan. Do the disco!
6/17/2004 :: As soon as I saw Megaman Network's report that Vol. 2 of the Megaman NT Warrior manga had shipped, I flew down to my comic shop right away. Turns out it was true! Volume 2 of the manga is now in my hands, and was it ever a joy to read. Just like the first volume, all of the graphic art was kept intact (though sadly the ink is still darkened for some reason, blotting out a lot of artwork details). Yuuichirou remains bloody when captured by the World 3, and Glyde still gets his poor little arms sliced off by Blues.
The slapstick humor continues on in this volume, but most of it is cute and appropriate. Of course, my favourite bit is the introduction of Enzan (I mean uh, Chaud Blaze), and Blues / Protoman. Keep an eye out at your local Waldenbooks, Suncoast, or wherever you buy your mangas, and pick it up as soon as you see it!
6/15/2004 :: I'd like to extend a very special thank you to RubyChan, who has drawn an absolutely beautiful new fanart for the main page of the site. :) Netto & Laika shall remain there for quite some time, so enjoy the theme of Net Saviors. ^_^ As for site updates, the screencaps for Episode 36 of Axess are now up. :)
6/15/2004 :: Are you ready for a new dose of Axess? Then head on over to #WolfPackProductions, cause Rockman.exe Axess Episode #12 is finally out and subtitled! YAY SEARCHMAN@#$!
6/14/2004 :: This month's Tri-Mothly Contest has finally begun! So head on over to the Contest page and check it out. ^_^ Good luck!
6/13/2004 :: Yesterday's episode of Axess #36 was entitled, "Completion! New Style PET!" Beware, spoilers below. Since these summaries are starting to get so insanely long, I've decided to put them on a seperate page.
Click here for the Axess #36 summary, "Completion! Net Style PET!"
6/12/2004 :: This month's fanart update is complete! I'd like to welcome 27 new fantastic artworks. I'd like to thank new artists Jo-chan, Missa and Kitty for submitting their works. ^_^ Also, current artists Meta, Kat, Tabby, CoolFireBird, MH Alia, Samo-chan, Liz-chan, Suraida-chan, Silver, and Metal Shark Player have all had their galleries updates with new stuff. Thank you so much, everyone!
Speaking of fanart, affiliate Maq from Maq's Hunter Hide-Out is hosting their annual "Mega Man Bathing Suit Contest"! Be sure to check it out!
6/11/2004 :: All 85 screencaps from episode #35 of Axess are now available. Also, the Cosplay & Spirit section has been updated with two photos of myself as Ciel from the A-kon convention last weekend. And finally, the dreadful day has been announced: Megaman NT Warrior DVD Vol. 1 will go on sale August 24th, for a whopping $14.98. It has been confirmed that this will be a dub only dvd release. So long, subtitles and no glowy swords! Ironically August 24th is my brother's birthday. I pity the poor sucker.
6/10/2004 :: With A-kon now over, I can finally settle in and concentrate on the site to my full ability. My first priority is to get caught up in certain sections as soon as possible, so I don't fall too far behind. First up are new seiyuus for the latest characters of Axess. These include Misaki Gorou, Prisman, Brightman, Coldman, Starman, and Swordman. Next, the character bios for new Good Guys from Axess are also finished. These include bios for Anetta, Silk, Commissioner Kifine, Manabe, Misaki Gorou, and Prisman. Screencaps for Axess #35 are in the works. I'm having to edit them some, as the video quality was rather in the dumps. Arrr.
6/9/2004 :: Last Saturday's Axess #35 episode was entitled, "Nebula's Great Invasion!". Beware, spoilers below, as usual. Any typos or mistakes found below are my own fault. This episode gets an award for 'too many freakin new attacks to remember the names of'.
The episode begins with a recap of last week's ending, when Rockman's symbol shattered. After the episode title, we're brought to the science labs, where Yuuichirou is slowly restoring Rockman's broken data. Netto watches an unconcious Rockman on screen, with a depressed look on his face. Yuuichirou pats his shoulder, and reassures him that Rockman will be fine.
However, while Rockman will be okay, Netto's PET is ultimately destroyed. Therefor, production of the new style PET is heavy under construction. Yuuichirou explains that the Synchro Chip must be modified so it will work in the new PET.
At the airport, a little boy is happily running through the terminal, carrying a toy plane in his hand. Not watching where he is going, he runs smack dab into a very tall man, and drops his plane. The stranger picks up the plane, and frightens the poor boy since he is so much bigger than him. However, the man kindly hands him back his toy. After the boy smiles and thanks him, the stranger turns and leaves.
At school, Meiru, Tohru, Rush and Chisao discuss the recent events concerning Netto and Rockman. Tohru mentions that Netto can no longer plug-in Rockman, and Enzan is in Ameroupe, so there could be problems. Just then, a familiar voice yells out ,"Gomen!" from behind. It's Netto! As he joins the other three, yet another voice steps up. The stranger from before approaches Netto, it's Raoul from Ameroupe!
Having never met him before, Chisao asks who he is. Netto explains their meeting in Ameroupe, and remembers their fierce Net Battle between Rockman and Thunderman (which for some reason shows them with their Advanced PETs, when they actually had the EXE3 PETs at the time).
Netto asks Raoul why he is in Japan. Raoul explains that he is following a Dark Loid from Ameroupe, who happens to be Brightman. Raoul then mentions Rockman, surprising Netto that he knows of what happened. He then mentions the word Net Savior, as if he does not approve of them.
When Tohru's PET begins to beep, they're alerted of a new Dark Loid attack! Comissioner Kifune and Manabe are also alerted of the attack. Back at the Dark Loid headquarters in the net, Laserman and Dark Blues are just sitting back and prepare to watch as their Dark Loids unleash their assault.
Meanwhile, Brightman begins his rampage as he attacks the Water Works. After defeating the security navis, he smugly announces "Check it out!" He then uses his "Bright Beam!" to wipe out the rest of the defenders. Just when he think he's won, another navi from behind yells out "Thunder Bolt!", striking down lighting from the sky, and burning Brightman to a crisp. It's Thunderman!
Netto, Raoul and Meiru are at the control room of the Water Works. Netto contacts Commissioner Kifune to inform him of the situation, and tells him that the newcomers are friends of his. Meanwhile, Manabe reveals that there is another Dark Loid on the loose.
We're taken to another facility, where everything is completely frozen over. The new Dark Loid Coldman uses his "White Breath!" attack to freeze the security guards. As he begins to turn on the main program, someone fires a shot right at him. It's Searchman! The Net Savior from Sharo continues to fire his rifle at the Dark Loid, sending him into a scramble.
Commissioner Kifune is surprised that Laika and Searchman have come as well. Meanwhile, Brightman and Thunderman are still going at it head to head. Raoul announces to Netto that he will show him Thunderman's new power. Thunderman charges up immensly, then releases an "Elec Beam!" attack straight at Brightman, who retaliates with his "Bright Beam!". The two attacks clash, and eventually Thunderman prevails as the victor. Netto is very impressed by how much Raoul has improved.
Coldman fires off a "White Breath!" attack, however Searchman easily blasts through it with his rifle. When the dust clears, Coldman has just barely dodged his attacks, and reappears behind the Net Savior. He tries again with an "Ice Shoot!" attack, firing off a giant icecube at Searchman. Being the badass that he is, Searchman fires a shot from the backend of his arm rifle, obliterating the cube. (Coldman's reaction is hilarious. XD He has the goofiest eyes.)
At the Net Police headquarters, Comissioner Kifune introduces himself to Raoul. Kifune mentions that Raoul would make a great Net Savior. Netto agrees, saying that Raoul can help protect Japan. However, Raoul has absolutely no interest in becoming one, and declines the offer.
Just then, Laika enters the room as well. Netto is very surprised to see him again. Right off the bat Raoul and Laika conflict with each other, as Laika treats him much the same way that he did to Netto when they first met. Laika then reports in to Comissioner Kifune for Net Savior duty.
Netto becomes frustrated when Laika and Raoul continue arguing, their interests conflicting in the reason that they wish to protect society. Whether it's for Net Savior duty alone, or something much deeper, the two men can't seem to agree on anything. They're interrupted when Kifune's phone begins to ring, and Yuuichirou appears on the line. Yuuichirou tells Netto that he is needed at the Science Labs. Raoul pats the boy on the back and tells him to go.
At the science labs, Netto lays in his skivies on a examination table, which is covered with a glass dome. Beside him lies an identical table, in which Rockman appears within. Yuuichirou explains that Netto must readjust to Cross Fusion in order for the Synchro Chip to work again. The Synchro Chip is put into place, and the computers boot up to begin the process. Both Netto and Rockman are scanned, matching up their bodies as Netto slowly begins the process of transforming into R Rockman. Netto never takes his eyes off his unconcious navi, and occasionaly softly calls his name.
Meanwhile, things are starting to go awry with the pipe lines around the city, as they begin exploding! Brightman and Coldman are up to no good again, as they team up in causing a rain of destruction. The Net Police are immediatly notified, so both Laika and Rauol are dispatched to take care of it. As they arrive on scene, they find the area completely absorbed in flames.
The two men eventually split up, and try to catch up to the Dark Loid's destructive path. Both Laika and Raoul track down the leading sparks to another facility, and begin their chase. As they run close side by side, the Dark Loids drop an explosion right in front of them, causing a load of steel to rain down upon them. Brightman celebrates his victory with a very enthusiastic "Yay!" and a thumbs up. ^_^;
As the dust clears, Searchman calls out to his operator. Laika responds that he's alright, he had taken refuge underneath a car. We then see a very sharp point of steel aimed directly at his chest, but it had stopped just in time. o_o; Raoul also appears to be fine, as he lays upon the mess of steel bars. Sporting a cheerful grin, he leaps off to continue his chase of the Dark Loids.
As Raoul jumps off a standing steel bar, it causes it to fall over, resulting in a chain of them beginning to crash. Underneath the car still, the sharp point of steel begins to advance upon Laika, then stabs into the ground just as the car moves forward. As the dust clears once again, Laika stands up, and holds out his hat, which was scraped by the steel. "Just timing (in time)...Searchman." Apparantly Searchman moved the car so the steel just narrowly missed his operator. ^_^;
Inside the net, Brightman and Coldman become annoyed that they failed to kill the humans. Meanwhile, back at the science labs Netto is suffering as the process of Cross Fusion attempts to complete itself. Likewise, we can hear Rockman crying in pain. Netto cringes as Rockman's symbol assembles itself onto his chest, which is still partially cracked from its previous destruction.
Raoul and Laika arrive at the main computer, having finally tracked down Coldman and Brightman. An alert activates on screen, and the room becomes closed off, trapping them inside! Raoul wastes no time in plugging in his navi Thunderman into the computer. Once inside the net, Thunderman sees all of the security navis laying on the ground, already knocked out. A moment after, Searchman joins Thunderman by his side.
If things with Brightman and Coldman weren't already bad enough, two more Dark Loids join in for the fun. Starman and Swordman! Finding themselves completely surrounded, Raoul starts things off as Thunderman lets loose his "Raiun Thunder!" attack. Swordman and Starman easily dodge the stray lightning, and Brightman retaliates with a striking "Energy Ball!" Thunderman leaps up to avoid it, but is cut down by Swordman's "Ryougenkin!" Brightman becomes upset because Swordman interfered with his attack.
As Thunderman stumbles back onto his feet, Swordman attacks again, this time with "Great Sword!", along with Brightman's "Bright Beam!". Unable to dodge, Thunderman is struck down once again. Searchman fires off his rifle, but Starman releases a Meteor assault, which cancels out his rifle shots. Suddenly from above, Coldman comes crashing down with his "Ice Burg Press!" attack, squashing Searchman flat.
Starman releases another "Meteor!" attack, which leads to Coldman running around like a chicken with its head cut off, screaming in a panic. ^_^;; Coldman uses his "White Breath!" ability to freeze the meteors, which come crashing down upon Searchman. Starman merely laughs as Coldman yells at him in anger.
Brightman continues his assault on Thunderman, as he uses his "Plug Lariat!" attack to smack him down yet again. Swordman then comes up from underneath and uses his "Sword Press!" to stab Thunderman. With the navi down for the count, Coldman charges up to finish him off. Laika orders Searchman to target Coldman, just as Brightman holds up Thunderman by his throat with his plug antennae.
Determined to delete him for good, Swordman flings off a "Spiral Sword!" attack, directly at Thunderman. Raoul yells out to his navi, catching Laika's attention. Laika orders Searchman to fire, but amazingly Searchman misses Coldman completely! However, the shot strikes Swordman's attack instead, causing the swords to fall harmlessly beside Thunderman.
With the Dark Loids astounded that they worked together, Thunderman catches Brightman off guard and kicks him away. Likewise, Raoul is amazed that Laika helped him. With the two men finally working as a team, they prepare to take on the Dark Loids to their full potential. *cue cool background music here*
With renewed vengeance, Thunderman fires off his "Thunder Bolt!" attack, which bypasses the Dark Loids. However, the lightning rebounds, then strikes down from the sky, catching them all unawares. Meanwhile, Searchman charges up his rifle, then fires upon Coldman directly. Only, it was a decoy ice cube! Coldman reappears directly behind Searchman as his rifle shot continues onward through the net.
Laika suddenly becomes confused when Thunderman puts himself directly into the rifle shot's path. Raoul simply smirks as Thunderman activates a whirlwind of electricity, and repels the laser shot right back towards the Dark Loids! Unfortunately for Brightman, he was smack dab in front, and takes the electric laser shot full force, resulting in his own deletion.
Having seen their comrad deleted in battle, Starman, Coldman and Swordman opt to log out and end the fight. With their departure, the room becomes unsealed, releasing Laika and Raoul from their prison. With the fight over, Raoul and Laika exchange a few last words. They obviously now hold a certain amount of respect for each other.
Back at the science labs, Rockman's restoration is finally complete. The episode ends with a glimpse of the new PET, and Rockman's face in the background.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*sobs* Brightman!? Why did they have to delete him? >.<;;;;; *beats her head on a wall* Poor Brightman....and Starman got a whole of like 2 lines. >.<; Saa....ah well. >_>; It *was* good to see Laika and Searchman again though. ^_^ Yay! Next week, R Rockman vs. Dark Blues! Don't miss it!
6/6/2004 :: I'm officially back home from A-kon. :) It was an absolutely fantastic convetion! I had such a great time seeing everyone again (Hi Ray, Marisa and Scarab!), and the JPop concerts rocked hard (Psycho le Cemu! \o/).
I managed to track down all of the Rockman cosplayers except one, which happened to be a Dr. Wily, whom I only saw on A-kon TV. Haarg, sorry I couldn't find you! But I did manage to track down Commander Beef (Scarab), Forte.exe (Ray), Rockman.exe (Marisa), and a Classic Blues.
And of course, what is A-kon without famed english voice actor, Scott McNeil? For those unfamiliar, Scott voiced Protoman and Dr. Wily in the 90s Megaman cartoon, as well as Gutsman and Cutman in Megaman NT Warrior. He also voices Koga in Inu-Yasha, Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing, and Wolverine in X-Men: Evolution. The first thing he said when I met him was that, "I'm always amazed that people remember Megaman", but he was very happy that fans adored his work. He was then kind enough to sign my Megaman vol. 2 DVD, with the message "Now...we take over ze world!". And yes, he did his Dr. Wily laugh while writing. >:D
The dealers room packed a lot of Rockman.exe goodies. I picked up an insane amount of the Rockman.exe Axess buttons, until I finally got ahold of a Blues Soul one. XD (They are packaged randomly). I also bought this month's contest prize items, and snagged the Searchman and Rockman Battle Plaction figures for myself. Lastly I tucked away the mini 1 inch Blues and Searchman standee figures, which came with 2 Advanced PET battle chips each. Unfortunately, no merchandise from the original EXE series was found (ie: the EXE3 PETs, or the older Style Change figures).
Overall it was a great con. :) Now to prepare for the big Otakon! See you guys there!
