Fushigi Yuugi was the first anime I really loved, like insanely fell in love with from the very first episode. I bought the entire series on VHS fansubs back in the 90s to see the whole thing, and was thrilled when it got an official release stateside. My favorite characters are Tamahome, Tasuki, Yui and the Boshi twins.
