6/12/2004 :: Today's episode of Axess #36 was entitled, "Completion! New Style PET!" Beware, spoilers below. This episode begins with an odd scene, that actually takes place later in this episode (in other words, it's foreshadowing what's to come). Alarms are going off at the Science Labs, where a Dimensional Area has formed over it and trapped everyone inside. Anetta is fleeing down a hallway, as security doors close quickly behind her steps. As she glances behind her, sword slashes break apart a closed door. We see a familiar visored Dark Loid calmly walk through the smoke and flames. Anetta keeps running in a panic, clutching something tight to her chest. Dark Blues continues to advance smoothly close behind. Anetta quickly sprints into a room, and closes the door. She hides behind a tall rack, holding boxes and other objects. As she catches her breath, she peers around the corner to see if she is safe. She then clutches the new Advanced PET II closer to her chest. An explosion from closeby alarms Anetta, followed by the haunting sounds of navi footsteps. Anetta edges farther down the tall rack, until she accidently knocks off a can from the shelf, causing a loud noise. Blues simply smiles, turning to her direction, and says "Over there". Blam! Title screen. Scene over! We now take you back to earlier in the day, where everything is happy and cheery. A very genki Anetta enters a room in the Science Labs, but doesn't see anyone in there at first. Finally she spots Netto, who is sitting in a sulk on the couch. She calls out to him, but he doesn't answer. As she ponders what's the matter with Netto, Enzan opens the door and enters the room. Anetta asks why he's there, and he reports that he is helping Hikari-hakase (Yuuichirou) with some data for the new PET. In return, Enzan asks Anetta why she is there, in which she responds that she wishes to cheer everyone up. Anetta reveals that she made food for everyone, only to find out that they are all busy. Enzan begins typing away at a computer, and ignores Anetta as she offers him some of her homemade food. She finally just opens her basket, and shoves it right in front of him. ^_^; As she promises that it's very delicious, Enzan gives her a rather skeptical look. Refusing to take no for an answer, Anetta hands him a rather odd looking and sloppy sandwhich. Not forgetting the other boy, Anetta also offers Netto a sandwhich. Netto snaps out of his deep thoughts as he notices Anetta for the first time. He accepts the food, kindly thanking her. Seeing that he's a sour mood, Anetta tries to cheer him up. It seems Netto is troubled that so many new Dark Loids have popped up recentely. However, Anetta reminds him that he should be thankful, because Rockman is going to be okay. Netto almost yells at her in anger, until he suddenly remembers that Anetta has already suffered in losing her own navi. Sporting nothing but a cheerful smile, Anetta reminds him again to be happy. Enzan and Netto silently stare at her for a moment, until Netto finally apologizes, bowing his head in shame. Anetta tells him not to worry about it, and to just be happy again. Netto smiles, then picks up his sandwhich as he decides to turn back into his cheerful self. Before eating, he asks Anetta uncertaintly if her food is really that delicious, which makes her upset again. ^_^; Enzan simply smiles as he watches Netto take a huge bite out of his sandwhich, who finds that it really does taste good. Enzan then looks at his own sandwhich quite oddly. (I loved this scene XD) Meanwhile, Laika and Searchman are still in town, keeping a close eye on the Dark Loids. The two have been dispatched on a Net Case to investigate a computer virus. As Searchman keeps watch over the assigned location, Coldman arrives with a bunch of henchmen viruses by his side. As they begin to advance, Searchman begins sniping off the viruses with his rifle. During this same time, Thunderman and Raoul are battling against Swordman, who has also been causing trouble. Deep in the net, Laserman evily laughs as his Dark Loids continue to cause havoc in the world. It seems Laserman is causing all of these Net Cases in order to keep the Net Saviors busy and distracted. With that being the case, he dispatches Dark Blues to take care of the REAL matter at hand. To be exact, the destruction of the new PET. As Dark Blues accepts his mission, the form of Starman appears behind him. Self note, this is the first time we verbally hear Blues being called "Dark Blues". Yes, this is his official Dark Loid name. Netto suddenly receives a phone call, and realizes it's his father. A moment later we're taken to the main Sci Lab room, where Netto, Enzan, and Anetta meet up with Yuiichirou. The scienist introduces them to the new PET, officially called the "Advanced PET II". He explains that the Synchro Chip's power will be brought out to its full potential with the new PET. As the kids stare at the PET in wonder, the main screen lights up, and Rockman appears! Netto is overjoyed to see his navi once again. Anetta expresses her happiness that Rockman is alright. Netto gets ready to take Rockman home, but Yuuichirou stops him before he can get the PET. He explains that Netto cannot plug-in or use cross fusion until the main program has finished installing. And so, Netto is forced to wait just a bit longer. Suddenly, alarms begin to ring out all over the Science Labs! A shining sparkle in the sky announces an air projectile, which fires out multiple stakes into the ground. These devices quickly create a Dimensional Area dome around the Labs. Yuuichirou: "Dimensional Area?!" Netto: "Why here?!" Enzan: "What does this mean?!" As soon as the words leave Enzan's mouth, Dark Blues appears from overhead and slashes down at them! Everyone is thrown back unharmed, but the new PET clatters to the ground. Enzan: "Blues!" Netto: "Why is he here?!" Dark Blues: "Where is the new PET?" Netto: "What do you mean?!" Enzan: "I see...." Enzan quickly realizes that the Dark Loids are after the new PET. Blues takes a slow look around, until he spots the PET laying on the ground nearby. Ignoring Enzan's cries to stop what he's doing, Blues readies his sword to destory the PET. Just as he thrusts it down, a hand reaches out and snatches the PET at the very last instant. It's Anetta! (Blues very rudly calls her "kisama", which is often translated to "bastard". O_o It would seem our dear Blues has become quite the ill-mannered navi.) Enzan orders Anetta to run for it, which she quickly does so. Growling in frustration, Blues begins his chase after the young girl. The two boys split up as they attempt to help Anetta. Meanwhile, Anetta is quickly fleeing down the hallway, as a very determined Blues persues her every step. (It's so....creepy to see Blues act this way) Anetta tries to keep her spirits up as she believes she has the lead on Blues....that is until he leaps at her from above, directing his sword straight at her. Screaming Anetta's name, Enzan pounds his fist on a control panel, and slams the door shut right behind her, cutting off Blues' attack. Blues grunts yet again, then shrugs it off, commenting that the humans can't escape the Dimensional Area. Enzan watches as Blues begins his advancement once again. As Anetta continues her sprint down the hallways, Enzan follows through another cooridor, hitting the control panels to all the doors in Anetta's area as he goes, hoping to slow Blues down. Anetta keeps running, and Blues keeps chasing, as we see his sword swinging omniously by his side as he slices through each door. We are finally brought to the scene that was played in the very beginning of the episode, in which Anetta runs into a room to hide. Anetta holds the PET close to her, as a door outside of the room explodes. Blues continues his way down the hallway, until Anetta accidently knocks over the can and alerts Blues to her location. Smirking, and stating "Over there...", Blues turns around and directs his path to Anetta's whereabouts. As Blues enters the room, he finds Anetta already gone. He then notices a grate on the floor, and realizes that she escaped into the vents up above. Blues gives an annoyed "hmph" then turns around and leaves the room. Up inside the vent, Enzan holds a frightened Anetta as they wait until Blues is gone. Eyecatch. Yay new eyecatches! This time we're treated to Roll Soul and Number Soul. Enzan drops down from the cieling in a new hallway, as does Anetta. Enzan tries to contact Yuuichirou via his PET, but quickly turns it off instead. He realizes that Blues can track down his location by connecting to his PET. Speak of the devil, there he is! "I've found you, humans.", Blues confidently sneers. Enzan grabs Anetta's hand, and drags her off with him as they try to escape. Blues smirks, announcing that they can't get away, because of the Dimensional Area. Enzan looks outside at the barrier wall of the Dimensional Area, frustrated at not knowing what to do. Suddenly an idea pops into his head, "That's it! The Dimensional Area! Anetta, this way!" Having no choice but to follow, Anetta complies. Meanwhile, Yuuichirou contacts Netto via a headset, telling him to halt running. He informs Netto that Enzan is heading towards the elevator, and has a plan to stop Blues. Sure enough, Enzan and Anetta reach the elevator, and hit the button to head downwards. Unfortunately, Blues has also caught up with them, and the elevator is taking it's sweet time in closing its doors. Enzan rapidly punches the close button, while Blues quickens his pace to reach them. Finally, the doors close themselves, and the elevator fires downwards. Blues simply smiles, and activates the sword on his right arm. Enzan and Anetta anxiously wait as the elevator travels down the many levels of the building. Anetta reveals that it makes her sad to see Blues this way, and that she doesn't want to see any more navis die. However, with the recent events concerning Netto and Rockman and their good luck, she's sure that Blues will come back. Enzan smiles reassuringly, and agrees. Just as things were going so well, Blues' sword comes slicing through the cieling! Anetta lets loose a scream as Blues continues to try to stab her from up above. Blues grins gleefully as he follows her direction, until she's cornered against the wall. Enzan stops the elevator, then grabs Anetta away just as Blues' sword crashes down right where she used to be. The two incidently slam against the opposite wall of the elevator. Keeping his grin, Blues stands back up and makes his way to the other side as well, still on top of the elevator. The Dark Loid draws up his sword, then drives it through the cieling just as the elevator doors open, allowing Enzan and Anetta to flee once again. Blues comes crashing down through the ceiling, and keeps his eye on Anetta and Enzan. Enzan and Anetta eventually find an exit in the hallway, and immediatly make their way there. Unfortunately, they've found themselves at a dead end! Blues becomes excited as he finds the room they went into, then goes inside. However, no one's there! "Impossible! They dissappeared?!", Blues sneers. Anetta starts screaming once again as she slides down a long chute, leading away from the dead-end room. The chute eventually spits her and Enzan out onto a pile of garbage. Anetta becomes startled when she realizes she's lost the PET, but eventually finds it underneath a layer of trash. As she holds it up, a signal beeps, and Rockman appears on the screen. The installation program has completed! A very angry Blues crashes his way through a wall, exclaiming "Where did you go, humans!?" As if an answer to his call, the signal of Enzan's PET shows itself. Blues quietly murmers, "Enzan....." As Blues reaches the bottom floor, he finds Enzan waiting for him in front of the test Dimensional Area chamber. Holding the new PET, Enzan slowly backs up until he is fully inside the chamber. Blues forwardly asks, "Where is the PET?", in which Enzan quickly replies, "Right here." Seeing no other option, Blues charges Enzan full speed, his sword at the ready. Blues darts inside the chamber, and swipes at Enzan just as the boy barely manages to duck, and sprints past him. As Blues' sword shaves a few hairs off of Enzan's head, Anetta closes the door to the chamber, trapping the Dark Loid inside. Enzan activates the Dimensional Area inside the chamber, which completely seals in Blues, since it is impossible to break through a DA from the inside. (in other words, he used the Dark Loid's plan against them). Blues becomes absolutely enraged, calling Enzan a bastard as he strikes at the wall with his sword, but not even making a scratch. Anetta rejoins Enzan, and they decide to hurry and find Netto, so they can give him his PET. Just as they turn around to leave, another voice calls out from behind them. The two become surprised to find Starman casually sitting upon the DA chamber! Stating that their plan is of no use, Starman jumps down and lands in front of them, demanding the new PET. Enzan holds out his arm to protect Anetta, and backs away as Starman begins to advance. Just as things begin to look bad, a grate from the ceiling comes crashing down, landing right on top of Starman! A famililar face appears from the vent up above: it's Netto! Netto jumps down to the ground, and Enzan rags him for being slow. Enzan then hands the new PET to Anetta, who then happily gives it to Netto. The boy gives a sporty, "Yo, Rockman!" as he accepts his PET, followed by a genki response of "Netto-kun!". Outraged at having been pummeled unawares, Starman gets back to his feet. Netto and Rockman are back together again, and ready for action. Proclaiming, "I'll show you! Rockman and I's real power!", Netto slots in the Synchro Chip, and performs Cross Fusion. Undaunted by Netto's transformation, Starman begins the battle with his "Star Arrow!" attack. R Rockman dives into the attack head on, yelling "Lets go, Rockman!". Starman becomes surprised when R Rockman manages to dodge every single one of his beams. Not only that, but R Rockman makes a sudden mad dash, and slams right into the Dark Loid, sending him flying. R Rockman is completely astounded by the amount of speed he now possesses. Apparantly the new PET has some nifty advantages built in. Unwilling to lose the battle, Starman raises up into the air, then fires off a round of Meteors. R Rockman notices just in time to stop running, and jumps backwards to safety. Only...he's jumped way high into the air! Again, R Rockman is surprised by the amount of power he now has. Starman becomes absolutely infuriated that his attack failed yet again. He sends off another round of Meteors, this time catching R Rockman by surprise, and slams one directly into his navi symbol, crashing him into a wall. R Rockman slumps to the ground, and Starman gloats on his victory. However, R Rockman's symbol suddenly glows, and all damage is erased! Starman can't believe that his attack had absolutely no effect whatsoever. As R Rockman clambors back onto his feet, Starman lets loose his final assault, showering down a rain of stars upon his enemy. R Rockman begins running towards Starman, and activates his first battle chip, Sword. However, the sword appears incredibly fast, before Netto even finished saying its name! Rockman responds that with the new PET, chip activation is much quicker. R Rockman leaps up into the shower of golden stars, carefully dodging each one, until he finally splices one with his sword, causing it to explode. Starman, from his viewpoint, believes he finally managed to strike his opponent. However, R Rockman fires directly upwards out of the smoke, and stares at Starman from up above. Activating the Shotgun chip, R Rockman lands a direct hit upon Starman. With the Dark Loid on the decend, R Rockman then activates his Elec Sword chip, and flies straight at him. Starman can do nothing as he's sliced completely through his middle by the sword, and eventually explodes as he's deleted. R Rockman lands safely on the ground, and happily exclaims, "We did it, Rockman!" Suddenly a scream comes from the opposite direction, and the Dimensional Area chamber shatters as Blues finally breaks free. The remnants of Blues' sword strike the ground, then fades away into pixels. Blues himself walks out of the smoke and debris, his right arm severed where his sword used to be. Blues swears he'll get Rockman and Netto no matter what, and R Rockman replies that they'll never give up. Blues then turns his attention to Enzan, "You bastard, Enzan! I'll remember this!". The Dark Loid then logs out and dissappears. With the battle over, the Dimensional Area covering the Science Labs then dissapates. Netto catches his new Advanced Pet II from the air after he de-Cross Fusions. Anetta runs up to him, happy as ever, and Netto thanks her for returning his PET. Anetta replies that Enzan helped too. ^_^ Rockman states that they can start on Net Cases again, so Netto excuses himself then heads off right away, more full of energy than ever before! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dark Blues is so creepy! CREEPY! *shudders* It's so very odd to see him act that way. ;_; Poor Enzan. Meanwhile....poor, poor Starman. *sigh* They keep baleeting all the cool characters. x_o; Mou.
